Lol thanks everyone, might have to check out k-mart for some cheap but ok summer items
Emma09 - how was your shopping trip yesterday, find anything for me oh and your ideas on haircut for a week or two would be GREAT!
I was shopping for Xmas presents!
I tried to find myself some maxi dresses- but they were all miles too long- you should have no problems!
Seriously though- I had a hunt in Kmart and they had some nice cargo three quarrters and tops.
Also some tunic style dresses for leggings.
Target had some GREAT things also- but more $$$$
What shoes do you wear in summer?
    Thongs?

Re:haircut- I think shorter- and more layers around your face!
How short would you be willing to go?

PAC- I have the same problem with maxi's- they don't sit well on me, and tend to look like they are wearing me, not the other way around.
I found a nice straight maxi in...... Wait for it..... SUPRE!
But they didn't have my size :-(
Think that style might suit us better

Lol you make me laugh, i think maybe we should go shopping together, DP probably wouldn't mind me going as he asked WHY i was wearing something and i said because i don't have anything else
With my hair i would be willing to go shorter but it needs to be easy and minimal work you got some ideas for me?
In summer i'm still a runners or thongs girl, i find it hard to find nice comfy shoes in my size

    Happy to go shopping anytime
Re: hair- I was thinking btw the shoulders and chin. I think your hair gets a nice wave to it?
Layers framing the face and thinned out a little bit.
    Wash and wear :-)
I'll try to find a pic.

I'm struggling to find a picture of you looking at the camera!
    Can you upload a picture?
From what I'm seeing, you may actually have a round face?

i LOVE my sinlgets and long skirts.... even at 38 weeks pregnant they still make me feel a little slender (minus the gigantic bump ^^ and you can do so much. Plain skirt with a detailed top, or a detailed skirt with a plain top, and a cardi if it's cool, or a vest. dress it up or down with jewelery etc etc. I think the trick is getting the right cut, too. If you're gonna wear the long skirt with a baggy flopping shirt, then yeah, it's gonna look a bit frumpy.

and i'm like you too, i hate my legs, mostly my knees... they're all puffy and stuff so I wear things to cover them. maxi dresses, leggings and long skirts FTW

been to Autograph? They have some nice stuff and have sales a bit.

Katies have a nice black top with a ruffle kind of thing down th middle which is very slimming and makes you look taller - or that's what ppl keep telling me when I wear it! And looks good with anything

    Got it, thanks hun.
Hadn't thought of autograph or katies, i reall need a bit of color in my wardrobe too and nice 'casual' dresses, everything i own has been bought to go out in and i don't think i will ever wear most of them again.
    Should sell them on here

i bought a nice dress from Autograph the other day. It has a lot of orange and maybe brown in it. I also bought the little denim jacket to go with it (which was how I saw it displayed). But those two things and a pair of jeans cost me around $200.

I don't know if there is an Autograph at Epping but I go to the one in Heidlberg as it always has good stock and the staff are great. The lady usually watches DD whilst I try stuff on (I go in when it's quiet). And they always go out of their way to help me.

Seriously try Katies. I get a bit from there.
