Yanno, in the good old days *lulu's rocking chair creaks*, you could go into a clothes shop and have someone help you choose, suggest combinations and get your correct sizes. It was almost like having a stylist in each shop.
It doesn't happen anymore . BUT I actually had a great experience this week in Jeans West of all places. I went in looking for plain longsleeved shirts and ended up buying $400 worth....
I would never have thought to try on the things that this chickie gave me, she kept throwing things over the change room door and they were all perfect. I got 90% of my work wardrobe sorted at the one place and she even suggested somewhere I could find the perfect charcoal pants....
I'm doing this for myself end of next year. I have vowed to myself that after this baby, I'm getting my body back in shape, getting down to my goal weight and clothes size and for my birthday/chrismas gift, I'm getting myself a personal stylist (recommended by my sis in the biz) that is going shopping with me to get myself a new winter and summer wardrobe op basics, new make-up and new hair style.
I owe it to myself to take better care of me. I'm almost 30 (I hear you old gooses snickering ) but have yet to lose my "school-shab" look and be more modern-hip and funky. I don't have an inner punk am going to explore maybe finding her
So my opinion ... get yourself that stylist Fiona, your worth it
Yay Fiona! Aren't compliments like that just the best!!
Haven't had one for a while actually (probably since the last time I ovulated... ), although I did get a couple of guys in a restaurant tell me how fantastic I looked when I was 8 months pregnant.
