Also, should I invest in a GHD? Is ironing your hair most days really, horribly bad for it?
    YESSSSSS
YOu seriously will not look back....it will be the best chunk of money you have spent. Seriously......i did have a remington one once, but did not compare to the GHD. GHD are set at 280degrees, so of course its going to do some damage to your hari. BUt i find you only have to go over the hair ONCE.....if its done properly, i can usually go 2-3 days without straighteting it again- whereas with my remington model, i had to do it every day.

Buy yourself a good mask treatment for your hair - use it once a week.

    Good luck !

Thanks all! I am very happy to hear I don't have to blow-dry my hair. I HATE that part. At least I can take my straightening iron in front of the telly.

Any recommendations on good straightening balms/ anti-frizz stuff/ heat protectors/ hair masks?

Best to ask your hairdresser, they'll let you know which ones to use and avoid, and will also give you tips.

I would seriously think about getting the GHD. I have extremely frizzy curly hair and when i use my GHD i only need to re-straighten it once a week after i wash my hair.

I have this product called Flat Iron Protection Shine Mist. It helps stop your hair from getting damaged from the straightener. I got it from Price Attack. It comes in a small pink spray bottle.

A good anti Frizz product that i use is Nak bio-marine complex repl-ends spray, also from Price Attack. I use on both myself and DD and it works a treat.
