Oh yeah, I had this last week. I think mine is from heat plus touching my face because my skin gets itchy. I used a mineral clay mask one evening which calmed the blighters down a lot so I would recommend trying that. Another product that works well is skin doctors zit zapper, which is an overnight spot treatment full of good things like tea tree oil and salicylic acid. In the past I've washed my skin with Manuka honey (put it on dry skin with dry hands) and that works really well too.
Thanks MD, I'll get a mask today and have a look for the it zapper - he actually mentioned that one this morning. Thankfully for the rest of the week he shouldn't be going near the hot area and next week we're on holidays so hopefully it'll clear up!
Ok, well I hope he gets some relief - quite apart from how it looks it's very uncomfortable.
Last night I remembered witchhazel. It's an awesome soother and v. good against breakouts & sunburn & heat rash, so I reckon that would help a lot too. Just wipe it on after washing your face.
I put the mask on it last night and it looks better, less angry. He reckons it feels better too so that's nice Thanks for the advice, I reckon once he finishes tomorrow it'll clear up well over the next few days.
