My hair is a bit on the frizzy side, would the semi be ok on that?? ... I don't know alot about hair
Lucky for me it's not like fire-cracker red, it's more like a dark-hazel with red tones .. it just looks so washed out atm
About the test for time .... meaning how long I should keep it on my hair?? During pg ... longer or shorter? And I take it, it's safe during pg, right??
Mine is frizzy too. I cant use permanent coz they just wash out.
Testing the time, Cut an inconsipcous bit out, and apply a bit of dye to it, checking it every 10 minutes. sometimes hair is healthier during pg and sometimes it is more damaged, depending on the person, but there is more of it, so it will be different to pre pg.
Also dont forget the sensitivity test. you dont want an allergic reaction.
A Semi is safe during pg because it is not absobed into the blood stream, and uses lower strength developer. Make sure the room is well ventilated though so you dont breathe in the fumes.
Do you have short hair?
When I decided to go natural after years of colouring my hair I grew out the roots for a while then I got a really short, cropped style.
It didn't take too long to grow my hair and the remnants of colour where cut out pretty soon. If I had left my hair longer it would have been ages before all the colour was gone.
Dachlostar - I wish it were as simple as cutting my hair really short DH HATES short hair and tbh, nothing works better for me than to just gather them up in a ponytail when I'm working. I did however had this sneaky "idea" to just go into the salon and tell them to cut it all off ... but my DH would have a heart attack and I would regret it first time my hair falls in my eyes. I am however thinking about getting it cut into a longish bob as soon as my natural colour gets there ... would have to break out the alicebands Is that still in fasion??
