Teal Colorado Leather one here. It has heaps of card space, an extra press stud for when I over fill it and a metal zipper for the coin part. I have had it for ages too. The plastic on one od the windows is starting to go now but that is fine, can still use it with that unstuck and I reckon I could stick it back down if I really needed too, but there are too many cards pushing it out.

... i don't love it but it has the lay out inside how i like

btw i couldn't find a patent bright red or purple one like i would have loved but i ended up with a GREEN WALLET with white embroidered flowers and pink flamingos on inside lining ha, ha (not really me but it does the job until i finally find the ONE, lol) !!

Your new one sounds pretty Smiles! Green is my favourite colour .

I have had my purse for over 10 years . I bought it when we were in Bali for new years (when 1999 ticked over to 2000) - it is brown leather and has lasted so well, who woulda thought LOL! I am one of those people that only buys new things when the old thing has disintegrated . I just bought a new handbag when my old one's strap broke. Hmmmm ...Maybe I should try and break my current one so I can go out and get a new one???

bright red (matches my current work handbag until I go shopping for a new handbag, also pretty-much matches a sexy pair of shoes I purchased a month or so ago) - I've had pink, black, brown, green and yellow

I do have my eye on the gorgeous purple LV one but of course I'd have to buy the handbag to match and much as I'm a label queen I think I'll refrain from spending that much maybe

Oooh... Sopdet I love LV!! I have a purse and a few bags in the mono canvas and one in black epi leather. I'd love a coloured one next! Best bit is, they have all been gifts! Told my dad if it comes from LV I'll love it... think he's too scared to pick a colour though, I'll have to drop some hints! Very expensive, but if you look after them they last incredibly well (ahhh.... self-justification at its best!!).

I have a black Fossil wallet that closes with a press stud. Nothing special but it has lots of card spaces which is what I look for first.

Before that I had a dark red Colorado one for about 3 years. It was given to me by one of the day care families and while I didn't love it at first it grew on me and was very sad to let it go in the end, partly because of sentimental value and partly because it had become like an old friend.

Smiles it sounds like you found a lovely wallet!

It twas me I believe that suggested the green wallet. It is a feng shui thing. Also you should always keep some money in it - never to empty. If necessary you photocopy a cheque and put it in there... The money musn't be folded it must lay flat..

I found myself a green one I think it's a "Wilson" one - I love the design it zips right around (I have a similar one in red - which is not good feng shui - sorry Sopdet!).

What brand was yours Smiles and what's the design? I need lots of card places...

... it's a cheapy one to tie me over until i find one i love, it's an Anna Nova brand - got it from the shop Thomas Jeweller rrp$29.95 but i got on special for $19.95, they were still on special when i went in there last week. Matt not shiny. It comes in a hot pink, choc brown (this one has a butterfly on it) and pale blue one ... although the hot pink one looks more plastic on the surface IYKWIM. At least the green one looks like leather with the fake grain (although non leather for this price). Mine holds 12 cards and has a zipper area for coins, can hold notes flat not folded, and has a window for drivers licence (or bubba/s pic )

I usually prefer leather but my last one being a gift was non-leather and i was pleasantly surprised it last the years it did.

BTW thanks heaps for the tips, and yep i don't ever fold the notes

Well, I need all the financial help I can get... going to buy a big green purse tomorrow! I am currently using a tan purse that the notes go in flat, but then you fold the purse so they're folded in half. Most of my purses involve folding so will rectify that.

Oh yes, and I fancy another purse.
