What is the difference between a brazillian and a xxx wax

I am plus sized and have never had a problem...just go to a professional place, not a gross chain beautician. I went to one once, she let me into the room and there were cotton strips with wax, hair and BLOOD, ALL over the room. I was grossed out...and that's from someone who is usually *never* grossed out!

YUK! I went to one place to get my eyebrows done and walked out before she touched me! There were bits of pubic hair all over the bench she expected me to lay on! I said I'd come back when she had more hygenic facilities. Needless to say that place only gets booked up for nails.

N the end I went the xxx. A little owie, but I am sure dh will love the result!

I just had my extended done last night. It just leaves the landing strip at my request, everything else done, inlcuding backside and so on.
I think it really depends what you want when you go and which salon.
The one I use is great, very clean and hygenic, usually ask if I want to wear the cottong g string thing, which I decline.
They also ask how far I go as in do I want my backside and everything done.

I just booked in for standard bikini today because my prego hormones are increasing ingrowns. I just want to defuzz rather then look all spotty. I wear boylegs in the pool anyway so no fuzzy bits will escape

She said the only thing that bothers her is if someone comes in while they have AF and don't change their tampon prior

One thing I have wondered about is - uh, how to say this, smell - I mean we all have a certain odour down below, I would be embarrased that the waxer thought mine was funky or something - not saying it is, (it isn't) but I've only ever smelled my own, awe heck I'll just shut up now.

Ha ha most don't smell as I guess people come in straight after a shower, i do have one client that comes in with wet hair so I know she just showered and she has a strong aroma.....I always rub under my nose with lavender essential oil before I go in the room to wax her

Aus girl, I go to the toilet right before an appt and give my...area...a wipe over, and make sure I have a shower befroehand too so its not like the smell has time to develop.
Joeve, thanks for the tips on disposable spatula its something Ive never thought about.(snap!)

My waxer gave me some moist toilet wipes, then she asked me to give myself a wipe while she left for a bit. Yep I too checked for gloves, disposible spatulas, and disposible paper down on the waxing bed. All good at the place i was at.

Then I treated myself to a spa pedi afterwards. Gosh I wish I was rich enough to have spa treatments weekly!

lol, my beautician told me she did the same thing with Lavendar oil at the end of the day. She said it really doesn't bother her because we live in such a hot climate and she gets a heap of women working in the mining industry. She got used to it pretty quick. I always make sure I give myself a thorough wash out of courtesy though. Plus I feel it's a matter of personal pride in oneself if you have good hygiene.

Lilima- thanks for reminding me I have a facial voucher to cash in. I won a random door prize and I was so shocked because I never win anything! A facial worth $85 mmmmmmmm yum!

I just had one today. Whoever says they don't hurt is lying! It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be though. That was a xxx brazillian too! Yowch!

And dtd tonight bloody hurt -tender skin!
