I pop a bit of Moroccan oil in my hair while it's still damp, then blowdry/drip dry and straighten. I use straightening shampoo/conditioners, and sometimes an anti frizz straightening treatment in damp hair before drying as well.

Ohhh nice thread I have just purchased organic moroccan argan oil from my local hairdresser but all hairdressers seem to sell a variation of it. Its an oil that gets rid of the frizz and makes me all shiny I put it in after washing my hair and straighten after blowdry. The only problem would be if you use to much your head get oily, I only get about 4 days out of it before I need to wash my hair other than that its beautiful. I do have very frizzy dry hair.

I sometimes use the GHD thermal protector but not very often.
