I'll be looking into that new Clinique foundation Nic! Interesting that you say it comes in a tube. I often get frustrated with their bottles... you can't get that last little bit out! Before I used Clinique I used to use foundations that came in tubes and was able to snip it open at the end and get a few more "wears" out of it. I don't use very much each time. I assume "Even Better" comes in fair colours? I wear the Just Neutral in their Dewy Smooth range ATM witch is quite fair.
I have been wearing the Mabeline Liquid Mineral foundation lately but this morning I decided to use my Avon Mineral powder and I got a really big compliment on how my make up was done today. I find my mineral powder is quite light so I put enough blush on my cheeks and T-Zone to add some natural looking colour without looking over done.
Loreal true match for me; i like it but im still trying to find a foundation i LOVE. I have freckles that i just hate and want to find a foundation to cover them without looking like i used a spatula to apply my make up hehe
Geez, i've tried that many & still can't quite find that perfect one ... Don't like 'em too thick & heavy or that pick up & make your lil facial hairs more obvious ... don't like 'em so thin they don't cover what i want covered ...
I like coverage BUT where my skin still feels like it's breathing
I tried a couple of mineral ones BUT they aint great for older woman as they emphasis even the tinest wrinkles on side temples, etc ...
Have tried REVLON Colourstay Active, is labellled Light Makeup BUT feels so darn heavy
***** The one i've been using for sometime which i don't mind but not too crazy about the bit of glitter effect (illuminating) in it is RIMMEL RECOVER in tube
... BATH, me too only like the foundations in a tube, also i think more hygienic then dipping fingers into a bottle
smiles, just a tip that I got from the Clinique make up artist about fine facial hairs showing up through foundation. Use a brush and brush the make up upwards first and then brush it down - it definately works.
Thanks Nic ... i do that with my finger tips but never thought of using a brush ... Nic, What sort of brush would be affective to use ... like which one do you know & where to buy it ?? (No worries if your not sure )
The Rimmel one i'm using doesn't seem to show it up much but would be great to try if i ever use a different foundation ... Hey, THANKS a million for the tip
I use Clinique. It is what my Mum bought me when I was a teenager and I just kept with it. I really love it and haven't found a reason to try anything else!
I'm curious as to what Clinique Foundation are you all wearing ???
... As i just jumped on the Clinique website & there are so many ones
... My keeping in mind we all have different skin types
