I get singlets and tie dye them to make them funky looking! don't know about bigger sizes though, so really not much help either.

Singlets all round here...I have to admit I am a singlet nazi - I love a singlet (me included) I really think they make a difference to body warmth in the cold melbourne winter....DD and the DS's wear Target - not sure what size they do go up to - DD is in the 4-6 at the moment but I never thought they would stop at a certain size???

Both boys wear them I got some at mothercare in a 3 pack for each. Also DS1 has some from big w which are colored with buzz lightyear pic on them, he loves them they are size 4

Feeb: are they the mothercare vest style ones? I saw them online yesterday...

Olive: where do you get yours from? Both styles - strappy and vesty. I'd like some size 2 vests for DS, which I can't find but he's ok for the moment in size 1... but where do you get DD1's strappy Bonds vests?

Boo Boo: I'd have thought the same thing, they wouldn't stop at a particular size! I've looked a few times and occasionally found one random one... but they seem to stock, ATM, the vest ones in bigger size, or the stupid Bonds ones with a shelf-bra in it. She is almost 3, not almost 18. She does not need a built-in bra! Get with the program, Bonds!

Maybe with the change of season they'll bring in more strappy ones...

HotI: we got a tie-dyed one from the St Andrew Market So cute. You are very talented

Best and Less. But only used them when babies or at night time. Too hot here for singlets.

Target brand (the ribbed ones). I can get them up to a size three (DD is 4 yo, but they fit fine)

I've been looking but no go!

Why is my Target so useless??

Might have to venture further afield...

I had to ask in Target - and I asked for vests so of course the girl looked at me blankly until I remembered they are called singlets here. She said only had up to size 2 in the ribbed Target brand ones, but as they stretch so much they still fit DD (although she is in size 3 tops) - the bigger sized ones were hidden away with the school wear (unless you wanted character ones) and they didn't have any small sizes - the girl seemed to indicate as getting warmer not likely to get much more stock in.

Ahh right. Thanks wysiwig. Might have to ask them then... but yeah the character ones are horrible aren't they???

I find the Target ribbed ones really nice and long and stretchy, but struggle with the head size! I must make big-headed babies!

Yep tried there Olive. Mine only has up to zero! But they are doing a big renovation so maybe their stock is down.

I'm about to go for a wander over to DFO near work here so I'll see what I can find there.

I get my kids (size 3 and 5) singlets from Big W and they are the bonds ones with DD's having skinny straps. DS have the thick ones. I don't care what brands they are I just buy whatever ones are in there size.
My kids don't wear singlets over summer but it is way too cold here over winter. I must admit I love wearing singlets too in winter.

Let me know if you do need any OP - my MIL gets them from the Target in Sunbury so I can get her to look next time she is in there and send them over. Also Aldi often do them so snap them up if you see them there.

Try target at northland or Doncaster if you haven't already- they seem to be large stores :-)

Thanks guys for your lovely offers to find some for me!

Had a little luck at DFO: found some Bonds ones with skinny straps! They look very short though so I only got two to try out. DD is tall so it could be an issue... see how we go. They also had two size 2 blue vests so I grabbed them for DS. Its a start at least!

    Nai, Olive, thanks
