Oh, and I stopped wearing scents for aaaaaaaages when pregnant with DS! I'm only just starting to adorn myself with scents, hence still having loads of the Boss, Cashmere, Be Delicious etc! Now that I've stopped wearing DD on my front - just was an unconscious thing, but I've figured out now why I stopped!

Me, though I don't buy the expensive stuff - at the moment I am loving a fragrance I recently bought called golden apple, and I love marousia - have done for years.

Hahahaha I love that you guys thought of me when you saw this thread... I admit, it popped up in the 'new posts' and I was like 'BROADBAND CANNOT OPEN THIS THREAD FAST ENOUGH! PERFUUUUMMMMEEE!!' lol

Yes, I'm obsessed! I have a collection ranging from Vanilla Fields and Imari Seduction, all the way up to Dior and Gucci. I'm a big fan of heavy florientals, but living in such a warm climate, I'm always on the hunt for summer-friendly fragrances that won't give me a headache or stink out a room Dior Poison was my signature fragrance until I got my hands on a bottle of Addict (had been waiting forever for that one!) - it truly is my 'dream' scent, if I had been able to get into a perfumer's nose and design my own scent, Addict would be it
I have heaps of Dior frags, unfortunately Chanel just doesn't seem to work on my skin - I've tried so many and they just come off yucky on me
The perfumes that I wear on a regular basis (and I admit that this is just a tiny percentage of my collection, I tend to collect perfumes because they mean something to me even if I don't wear them, or I just like the bottle or the brand) are: Dior Addict, Dior Poison, Hypnotic Poison, YSL Cinema (omg I LOVE this one, it's so vanilla-y and creamy), Gucci Guilty (I'm hanging out so hard for Guilty Intense!), Angel (wish I could love Alien but it smells like fly spray and cough lollies on me), Bvlgari Black, Reb'l Fleur by Rihanna (more on celeb frags in a minute lol), Maitresse by Agent Provocateur and Lolita Lempicka.

My DDs are turning into mini-perfumistas as well - I got DD1 a bottle of Britney's Fantasy for her 4th birthday and she wears it once or twice a week (when we go out shopping and she wants to feel all dressed up), and DD2 always hauls me into the local Terry White after we get coffee and donuts, to try perfumes - she loves Versace for some reason (I only like Vanitas myself lol). I'm not at all a perfume snob but my skin 'eats' perfumes so I find I have to carry celeb frags or other cheap ones (Avon etc) in my handbag to respray during the day, I like high-end perfumes because they're so complex and last all day (I have a dress that absolutely reeks of Addict even after washing it two or three times lol, it just stays in the fabric and smells delicious). There are quite a few celeb fragrances that are wonderful, I was really impressed with Rihanna's first effort, and I'll definitely be blind-buying her new one when it comes out because the notes sound perfect for my tastes. Britney's are super-sweet but I like Midnight Fantasy on cool, sunny spring days - unfortunately Radiance gives me a splitting headache, DD1 loves the bottle but I won't allow it in my house hahaha.

I started wearing perfumes before I hit puberty - nothing fancy, but my mum got sick of me stealing her Miss Dior and started buying me cheap ones like Ici (which I don't wear any more but still keep a bottle of because it brings back lovely memories) and Body Shop perfume oils (I love the old Cinnamon Spice and the old Vanilla - the new one smells like car air freshener). These days, I don't feel 'dressed' until I'm smelling good as well
My latest purchases were Agent Provocateur's signature, and Eau Emotionelle - both picked up on an auction site that is getting rid of stock from Perfume Empire (which some of you may know went into liquidation earlier this year or last year). (Anybody who's interested, PM me and I'll tell you where to find them - they have 30-100ml bottles of high-end and celeb frags starting at $20 up to about $70 - RIDICULOUSLY cheap, and absolutely legit!)

*sigh* I could talk perfumes all day! Love them - there's such a huuuuge range out there, they're all so different and beautiful in their own ways, and I'm a huge believer in scent being a big part of making memories.

Haha! Wondered how long it would take you Donna! I also agree on the YSL Cinema, LOVE it! And the old Body Shop Vanilla which has disappeared.. Brings back so many memories of when DH and I got together back in 04 and BS Vanilla was my every day scent, lasted forever!! Yummm...

I also like Britney's Curious In Control for a cheap celebrity scent, seems hard to find these days though??

Does Dior do a Dolce Vita in a pretty round bottle with some sort of spotty design on it?? I remember it from my Mum's collection and loved it, might have to hunt it down just for the memories..

^ They sure do There's Dolce Vita in the round bottle with the 'spots', and Eau de Dolce Vita in a taller, elongated bottle with the same design I have a mini of Eau de Dolce Vita, it smells gorgeous! Ohh, which reminds me, I need to track down another bottle of Dune because I had an old-fashioned one with a stopper instead of a spray-top and the kids emptied it out... the carpet in my bedroom smells amazing, though

I wear Nina Ricci everyday it's yum. Sometimes I wear the Crabtree & Evelyn Vanilla scent mmmm. I've also got a little 5 pack of the Bvlgari scents, they're quite nice to wear at night for something different.

I used to wear Anna Sui - dreams but that just reminds me of highschool now hah. I wore White Linen for a while, I like it even though it's kind of an old lady scent. I liked it for work. I also wore Elizabeth Arden's Mediterranean too, that's a nice one.

I love getting into my nan's & my mum's perfumes.... Nostalgia central! I was in a perfume shop the other day and sprayed myself with Lou Lou... It reminds me of when I was little and we had to go stay at Dad's place and mum would spray it on my pillow so I didn't get homesick *sigh*

Glamourcide, I'm the same with Chanel fragrances. I love them on other people but they just don't work on me. Gah.

A big fan of Agent Provocateur here too. I wear the original mostly, so powdery and feminine - but Maitresse is a regular "sniff-by" in Myer.

I don't have a big collection because I like to keep my perfume fresh rather than sitting about going stale so I finish a bottle and buy something different.
    At the moment I have
    Issey Miyake
    Chanel 19
    and Gaultier Summer.

I love Armani Mania but I'm almost out of it, and I haven't seen it around of late ...

I also have Femme by Hugo Boss, but it smells different to me, post birth ... not sure why!

At the moment, I'm loving the Dreams handlotion by bodyshop. I don't like the perfume as much as the lotion, but there you go ...

Onyx, that's what I had been doing until I started working for an Estee Lauder company and had them gifted to me all over the shop!

I do! I have tons. It's something girly that doesn't matter what size or shape I am. I also wear it like garlic to ward from vampires. Because people in my past who were often bad people would get migraines from the smell.

    Some of my faves are:
    Prada light green
    Covet by SJP
    Harajuku music

Oh and Maybe Baby by benefit for my handbag.

I can't do Chanel either... Allure and Mademoiselle 'work' nicely on my skin but the scents annoy me after a while. Plus I know a lot of women who wear Mademoiselle so I'd feel like I was stealing their identity lol.
