Is your left side more attractive?

I just read a blog post claiming that the left side of a person's face is more attractive than the right. With photographic evidence

Sooo...... is your left side more attractive?




Maybe it is just a trick of photography - we read left to right maybe it is something to do with that? If we were of a culture that read right to left would we read photos right to left and prefer right side portraits?

my understanding is that it's to do with the symmetry of your face... a more symetrical face is identified as being more attractive.....

The left side theory isn't about being 'attractive'. The photos they used weren't all photos of people who are attractive by conventional 21st century standards. The theory is that for most people regardless of how attractive they are look more attractive when viewed/photographed from the left.

My side profile makes me look like a haggard old woman. Left and Right are the same. Just checked. And my forward is way better.

Left side is less likely to get acne, but more likely to get big wiry black hairs. In my case, I think the back of my head is my best side

I near always angle my face for self pics not full on portrait, but yeah, I do angle...to my left! And it looks better that way! Never even considered it before, do that's kind of cool!

Definitely a leftey here ... to the point that my mum used to get annoyed with me, saying that I'd get a crink in my neck from favouring that side in photos etc so much ...

Can I be really trite and say my insides are prettier, though?

100%. I always tilt my face to the right to show the leftish side of my face for photos. I've noticed this in the mirror for years. Don't like the way the right side of my face looks.

Yes I always try to get the left side in with photos. Right side always get deleted as they look nowhere near as good.

Juts took a few selfies to test te theory, and it's true on me. I think It might be because my hair parts on my left, so it's not all hair doing the same thing on that side, itms.

I have a big mole on the left side of my face which I hate, so I prefer my right.
