    McCormicks SC recipe question??

    Haven't used one of these before but am making the lamb casserole one. Has anyone used it??

    It only says 1/4 cup of water!!!! This doesn't seem enough at all, there was no liquid so I put about a cup. Still isn't much liquid, wondering if I should add more, hmmm...

    Hey Heaven,

    I've made the country chicken one before but I made it in a casserole dish in the oven so I added more liquid - about two cups of stock on top of their suggested quarter of a cup. It was a bit salty so next time I'll do some stock and some water.

    OP i find them too salty too so i just use half a packet and save the rest for another time!

    I have used it before. It turns out fine with the 1/4 cup of water. I think I have used most of the Mccormick SC ones.

    That's a good idea!! I thought it was the stock I was adding... Ta love!
