    SC and Pasta question?

I am currently slow cooking a beef stroganoff for my family for tonight.

My husband just called me a moment ago and told me he has bought us all tickets to go to the movies around 5pm tonight... so I was wondering if it is possible to throw the pasta into the slow cooker with the rest of the ingredients? Will it cook through? How long should I need to cook the pasta for? If it could be done, it would be ideal as then I could just leave dinner, go see the movie, come home and serve it up to my hungry tribe!
    TIA,
    Lisa

    Hi Lisa
I think I would cook the pasta separately and put it in the fridge. It is easy and quick to reheat. Just pop it in some hot water for a few minutes.

Id go with allan...Definately cook it first...just refresh it under som ecold water until its cold before you put it in the fridge, otherwise it will go all glugy ad horrible if its still hot when it goes in the fridge

    Thanks everyone
I have decided to follow Alan's advice and cook it fresh, then warm it up when we get home .
