    Slow Cooker Porridge

Hi girls, I am not sure if this has already been posted before but I thought I would share.
Last weekend I thought I would try porridge in the slow cooker, let it go over night and wake up to fresh porridge.
For every one cup of oats I put two cups of water. I actually put 2 cups of oats and 5 cups of water coz I was worried about it drying out and burning or something. I turned the slow cooker on low before I went to bed and when I got up it was cooked, a bit crusty on the edges but the rest was beautiful. I guess you just have to play around with the water. I think it was cooking for 9 hours or something.
Also cooked choc self saucing pudding and it was the best pudding I have ever had, all others that ate it agreed.

    Oh.my.goodness.

What a fantastic idea! Ha, first time I read your post I thought you made the choc pudding for your breaky (also a fantastic idea!).

Will try it tonight! I love anything that saves me even 5 minutes of my time
