Some slow cooker Q's

Hi girls.

I am about to buy a slow cooker, nearly bought one today and decided against it, I don't feel like I don't know enough about them. Maybe you girls can help? I have a few questions I was hoping you could help me with?

What brand did you get?

Ceramic or stainless steel pot?

Dishwasher friendly? Do you wash it in the dishwasher?

Is it programmable or do you have to turn it on and off?

How often do you use it?

What do you like or dislike about the brand that you got?

God, so many questions!! Sorry girls. any help you can offer would be much appreciated.

i have a 6L ronson with a ceramic bowl.
I haven't got a dishwasher, so I have no idea if it can go in there, but I have never had a problem cleaning it.
I would prefer one with an auto function or a timer, but its not that hard to buy a timer from bunnings and use it that way.

I have the same as Ray and I also have one that is a Breville that is programmable. Both have a ceramic pot and both are dishwashable. I like them both for equally good reasons I find the Breville cooks a little faster which can be a little annoying but I am a SAHM so I worked around it. The programmable ones don't actually have a start timer they just have a timer for each setting ie 6 hours on high or low or 4 on high & 3 on low.
