Steak in the slow cooker??

I just saw a recipe for steak, baked potatoes and corn in the slow cooker.

It says to place the steak in the bottom of the cooker, wrap the potatoes and corn individually in foil and place on top of the meat and cook for around six hours.

Has anyone done something similar to this? I'm wondering if the steak would dry out too much?
