Lisa - It's a tough decision. I'm glad your DH is feeling okay about the procedure, it would help I imagine.

Good luck to him on the 15th. I hope everything goes really smoothly and he has a really quick recovery.

    Thanks JM

You're right, DH being okay about it all means that I feel a bit better about it all too. I'm looking forward to having a love life with my husband that doesn't revolve around my cycles and HPT's

    **Update**

DH had his vasectomy done yesterday afternoon. He was a little uncomfortable last night but today he is fine. He has only taken 1 painkiller and 1 panadol since the procedure.
I thought I would be upset that it is all done and so final, but to be honest I am actually really relieved. I can't wait to enjoy being with my husband without the fear of an unplanned pregnancy.

If we had the chance to change anything, I would probably book him in for earlier in my pregnancy or a little while after the baby is born. Last night really sucked having to do everything for 4 kids by myself and being so heavily pregnant.

I'm so glad that it all went okay and your DH is doing fine!

We are waiting until after the baby is born for my DH to go and have his done - mainly for the time off to recover but that's good advice. Thanks
