Which one did you end up making - which one was the best Alicia? I've got some cookie cutters here that I've promised the kids we'll make some biscuits today so we can use them - but not sure which recipe to try.

    Hey girls!

OMG these ones were THE BEST!!!

2 cups sifted flour, less if possible
    1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup butter
    3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
    1 egg
    1 tablespoon cream
    1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
    granulated sugar, for decorating

(1). Blend 1 cup flour, baking powder, and salt.

(2). Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, vanilla, and cream.

(3). Stir the flour mixture into the butter mixture, then add enough of the remaining 1 cup flour to make the dough stiff enough to roll.

(4). Wrap in plastic wrap and chill several hours.

(5). Preheat oven to 375 F. Place on a lightly floured cutting board and roll to 1/8" thickness. Use floured cookie cutters to cut into shapes. Place on an ungreased baking sheet, sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake 8 minutes.

We added about 1 & 3/4's cup of flour instead of the 2 cups, left them in the fridge overnight, then in the morning they were a little hard to roll out so we let them sit for about 3-5 mins and then it was super easy, we baked them at about 200 for about 6-7 minutes as our little Mickey's were small, we baked them just until they had risen a little bit and were a touch golden... PERFECTO!

OMG soooooo YUM! We made 400 of them, then choc dipped them, some whole, some half and some half then dipped in 100's & 1000's (Mel, the Mickey Mouse Cookies on my fb you saw!) and they were soooo freakin' yummy!

Tried alot of recipes and this was by far the best, not bland at all, the brown sugar is definitely the winner! Try these cookies out, I totally recommend them!!!

Thanks so much for all your help ladies! Hoep you enjoy! We did!! xx
