Sounds yummo! On a slightly different note though (still about slices), everytime I make a slice it crumbles terribly. Would adding an egg still make it okay?

I have one a bit different to this and I used to make it all the time. Never failed and so easy to make. You could also change the amount of water to turn it into biscuits. Never did, was to lazy

If it doesn't work or isn't nice let me know and I will post mine.

Thanks for testing it out Jaspen! Did you just make as the recipe says or did you put some chocolate over the top?

I can't wait to try it out, I just find cooking so difficult with DD.

I didn't do the chocolate and I melted the butter and syrup in the microwave 1.5mins with a good stir after) cause I didn't have the time to stand beside the stove. Its very quick to make storm and even my husband eats it.

Those who like their Anzacs crunchy mightn't be overly impressed cause its more a chewy consistency - but thats how I like my anzacs so thus the yummy comment
