    but it will be ok then to stir/fold the batches together ??? I am making a rainbow cake so I need to have heaps to divide

    I find that the kitchenaid does 2 to 3 times the recipe usually before its up around the top of the paddle - i would have thought five could be pushing the kenwoods capacity unless the bowl is a litre or two bigger

    yeah I think I will do perhaps one 3 and one 2 quantity batches its a 4.6litre bowl if that helps or should I go 2 + 2 +1 batch ah its doing my head in....why did I decide to do so much

    In theory ok, but you gonna lose lots of air out of the dough, so it may not rise as well/ be as fluffy. It's best to bake straight after mixing (unless it's a yeast dough - then the more time the better). Maybe bake it tonight and decorate tomorrow? Sorry, I'm not much help.

    is all good I was too tired after doing the groceries so am doing it this morning after I make the choc crackles thanks so much for your help
