Does it hold up well under fondant icing?
which cake?? the one i made i've had another double cake on top of a couple batch of cake (10inch square), with 900g of ganache on top and it's held up beautifully. it keeps for ages too.

the bottom cake here is the white choc mud, with extra cake (basic chocolate cake on top) with 900gm of ganache

similar deal here, with this pic of the middle. this was baked and iced on thurs, cut on saturday, and still fine to eat 10 days or more later (none got thrown out lol)

I typed out the whole recipe of my cake yesterday on my phone, and was about to scroll down to post reply, when I hit a button on my phone that took me out of the browser! So I lost it all. And 'cos I'm too lazy to type it out again, and I knew I had already typed it out once onto BB, I went looking for the thread:

I also have a caramel mud cake, which is very delish too.

    Sorry for the late reply.
