I loooooooove "Peanut Nutter" from Trampoline - they make the best ice-cream/gelati in the world! All their flavours are awesome, but Peanut is just.... Ohhhh... *melts*

DH always treats me to some when we're in the city lol - even if it's freezing 'Twas the last thing we ate on New Years' last year, and then we went back for more after midnight

    LICORICE! In a waffle cone!

There are two types, one is all grey, the other is vanilla with big shiny ribbons of licorice running through it. That one is hard to find though.

i'm trying to think of the name of the icecream place on Darling Harbour, near Manly Beach & i had in Maroochydore in Qld recently, is it called Gelissimo (or something)

anything homemade and all natural out of my brand new ice cream machine I just bought!!

how sad am I...I had to buy a new small freezer just to fit the freezer bowl from my new ice cream maker as it didnt fit in my top door freezer compartment.....I rationalised it to hubby by saying I could use the new freezer to store my breast milk as well......sounded better that way somehow than saying it was for the ice cream!! LOL

My DH would be more convinced with the ice-cream argument!

Gelatissimo The one in Brisbane city has half price between 5-6pm - hard to walk past after work.

    I'm a sucker for butterscotch!

Homer Hudson Digger is my all time favourite.

Lulu I haven't seen licorice ice cream since I was a kid! I used to LOVE it. My parents used to drive us to Williamstown on balmy evenings just to get an ice cream when we were kids. I always got licorice.

Does anyone know if that ice cream parlour still there?

Oh Heather I love Cold Rock icecream!!! Used to holiday with my family at Mooloolaba and that was always one of our first requests (apart from a walk on the beach!) to go to Cold Rock. Mars bars were always yummy mixed in as the caramel sets quite hard.

I love Cookies & cream icecream

    Thumbs up

... we had a " Cold Rock " open here in Ballarat last year in the freezing weather (i first came across Cold Rock in Qld of course )... i love the honeycomb ice-cream with tiramusu ice-cream & crushed caramello bear in it

Lulu ... there is an icecream at Cold Rock with chopped licorice allsorts in it (i've gotta try it one day) ... You reminded me of my Mum making me as a kid go to the milkbar to buy her licorice ice-cream in a cone & i would have to walk so fast home to get it to her before it entirely melted ... Poor Mum had agrophobia & couldn't get out to get it herself

OMG, Tink i remember that ice-cream parlour from years ago (i think it was near a pub ??) ... yeh, have always wondered if it's still there

I love caramely, butterscotchy, nutty ones.
At Batman and Robins I like the praline and cream one in a waffle cone
At Royal copenhagen, I like their one actually called royal copenhagen - with hot caramel fudge on top mmmm.
Or a really good vanilla - with puddings in winter.
