Yummo Rachel. that's exactly what we made. It's so delish! There's one piece left for DD to take to school in her lunchbox tomorrow - she got the 2nd last today!

I think a peppermint crisp one would be fabulous!

And Mel, you'll be pleased to know I passed on the recipe to a friend of Viv's Mum after the friend came for a play on Friday. I told her the girls had had a piece of fudge and she complained she'd lost her recipe but wanted to make some. I handed her your recipe and she got excited as it was basically what she'd lost. I imagine she'll be doing happy dances in her kitchen too very soon.

This is going to sound like sacrilege, but can you use margarine in this to die for recipe? (healthier than butter... *blush*)

ewwwwww I dunno you probably could try it dunno if it would work the same because margarine is softer *shudders* Why not try low fat butter? At least then it will go solid again...?

Eugh, and this is why I didn't make this for a couple of months... it's so hot it burns my mouth straight from the pan but I just can't stop! I'd been holding out so well until I was home alone today as well.

I made 2 batches to sell at the school fete on the weekend. Fortunately I served it up onto 4 plates, as two of the cake stall workers grabbed a plate each as I was unloading them! I'm sure they were well enjoyed as all 4 plates, plus the chocky cake I made were gone very early in the piece

DD was very sad we didn't save any for us. My butt's not sad though

I made it the other day Mel, white chocolate fudge with peppermint crisps in it, absolutely yummo as always!!

And now I always have the ingredients in the cupboard just in case I get invited anywhere I can whip up a batch & impress a whole lotta people at the same time!

It is Lea & I buy an extra peppermint crisp & really smash it & sprinkle it on top ~ I have found it better if you don't over smash the ones you put into the fudge or they just sort of disappear, so better to be bigger chunks for the middle.

Sounds like it's continuing to be a hit! LOL

I have to say my favourite was just the original with a whopping great big bag of M&M's thrown in! *drooooool*
