Getting bored of chocolate cake in a cup

Are there any other midnight snacks I can make in the microwave??? Quick, easy, one bowl/one cup preferred.

    Bread and butter pudding?

Make a big pot of rice pudding and heat up a bowl as you want some?

    Thanks Tegam

Nic - Mmmm bread and butter pudding is a great idea!

Kels - 4 tablespoons of self raising flour, 4 tablespoons of sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, 3 tablespoons milk, 3 tablespoons oil, 1 egg, dash of vanilla essence and some choc chips. Stir in one mug, into the microwave for 2.5-3 minutes. Nom nom nom.

I'm looking for something just as easy and yummmmm.

Do you think it would change the recipe much if I didn't add the choc chips?

Make a sandwich out of puff pastry with nutella in it and toast it in a jaffle maker. I also like vegemite and cheese too.

You can also put tinned apple in them, or whatever takes your fancy. Just make sure to spray the jaffle maker with cooking spray first.

oats with sultanas and honey. 90 seconds in the microwave, then stir and put in the honey.

If I wanted to be naughty, I'd put in jam (apricot or black cherry probably) or brown sugar ...

not chocolate, but soooooooooo satisfying and easy.

Ok, so it was fine without choc chips but can imagine it would be better with them

We always have frozen berries as a stand by dessert in summer but found a new use for them recently. Cubed bread, tossed in brown sugar, mix with frozen berries and custard. Zap in microwave but use a larger bowl as it made a mess!!
