ohhhhhh, recipe please?![]()
Yes please! I have a few more pumpkins in the garden and wanted to do something other than soup!
Yes please!!!
Ok I will post it soon when the kids are asleep!!![]()
Here's the recipe!! (sorry for the delay!):
Ingredients:
55g butter
2 1/2 cups Self Raising Flour
2tbs sugar
1/2 cup pepitas
3/4 cup cooked mashed pumpkin, cooled
3/4 cup milk, extra milk and extra pepitas
Method:
1. Preheat oven 180c. Grease and line a baking tray.
2. Using fingertips, rub butter into the flour. Stir through sugar and pepitas.
3. Combine pumpkin and milk and mix into flour mixture until just combined.
4. Pat dough into a 2cm thick round. Using a 5cm (diameter) round cutter, cut out 12 rounds. Place on tray and brush the top of each scone with extra milk and sprinkle extra pepitas on top
5. Bake for 12 minutes or until golden. Place on wire rack to cool.
EAT & ENJOY!!!Super yummy and low in sugar!
