I use melted chocolate, but prior to cutting take it out of the fridge to let the whole thing soften a bit. Another alternative I have done is when I have made it put it in the fridge for 15 mins, take it out and then cut it up and put it back in the fridge.
We use melted chocolate. I leave it at room temp for the chocolate to set rather than putting it in the fridge. Then I cut it up and put it in the fridge. Takes a little longer but works for us
Meet usually make it just before dinner is cooked and cut it up after we've eaten
