    Can you make shortcrust pastry the night before you are going to use it ?

    I found a easy recipe to make it but it says leave in fridge for 15mins before using it.

    OMG Michelle, have you got Jamie Oliver's shortcrust recipe? It is the easiest thing in world! I'll wait for you to post back, and in the meantime go and hunt it out. If you want it I'll post it here for you

    ETA His is for sweet shortcrust, maybe you want savoury? It stores in the freezer really well though.

    Sez i need savoury as i use it when making quiches. I think homemade tastes so much better than the shop brought frozen one.
