Oh I am so making this tonight for after our ribs. Thanks Cai![]()
Found this on a random blog called Killfile
Now my tip is add a bit more syrup to the sauce, and if you want a custardy pudding (ie comes out with custard rather than syrup) add an egg to the pudding batter.Pudding mixture
1 cup self-raising flower
3/4 cup sugar
pinch salt
60g (2 oz) butter
1/2 cup milk
Sauce
2 tablespoons golden syrup
1 1/2 cups hot water
30g (1 oz) butter
Silt salt, sugar and flour into bowl. Melt butter, add to flour mixture with milk, combine thoroughly.
Place into well-greased ovenproof dish. Pour sauce mixture on top.
Bake in moderate over approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
Sauce: Combine all ingredients in saucepan, stir over low heat until better melts.
Serves 4.
It was very nice with Ice cream
