Doh, I only just saw this.
Hope everything is OK.
Have often thought about your DD, it hurts to hear of someone else going through an ED. I'm so glad I'm over the worst of mine, but it still comes up every now and then.

Thanks lovely ladies.
DD did sign herself out of hospital and she left for Canberra. I have only spoken to her once since then but she tells me she is doing ok and that her boyfriend is making her eat so I will just have to trust them. She is not coming home for Xmas eitherShe tells me she is coming back up in January so I will see for myself how she is then.
Will keep you all updated as I hear/see it xxx

Sounds promising at least. I hope it is as she says it is. Bummer you won't see her for Christmas though

Well looks like DD is coming up either tomorrow or ThursdayWill be very good to see her. She keeps texting that she misses us all very much especially the other girls, so hopefully she will be happy when she gets up here. At this stage she is not sure if she is going to say here but as long as we get to see her I will be happy. Will check to see if she really has put on any weight (I'm hopeful lol) or if I need to feed her up some.
I hope all of you had really great xmases and enjoy the new year of 2012 to come.

Thanks so much everyone. DD came home on Thursday and has been staying here. She has put on a bit of weight so doesn't look like a scarecrow anymore but she still has the attitude lol. I feel that she is using us like a hotel atm but I guess she still wants her freedom and as she doesn't live here any more then I have to give it to her. I'm refusing to be her taxi service though lol. It's harder than I thought working out where the boundaries are now.
She has made arrangements to see the mental health people down where she is now and she has a GP that has spoken to the specialist up here so they are aware of what's going on. She is doing all the right things so I'm very hopeful that she will continue. She has stopped biting her nails but is still continuing to smoke and drink. I'm not pushing issues as I think she needs to deal with them one at a time.
I hope the New Year brings joy and love to all you wonderful ladies. Thank you so much for all your thoughts and well wishes during this really hard time. It has been good to have somewhere to come and vent when I needed it.
