    That's great that she feels comfortable asking questions without getting embarrassed, shows you have a lovely relationship. What a grown up moment.

    Thanks. Shes just SO young (i feel anyway lol) im actually going to check out a bookstore & was hoping someone was able to recommend a book but ill check them out :-)

    Do they do sex education at school? I know DS comes home with a lot of information.

    Being a christian school i am not too sure what they learn. I plan on asking dd's teacher when they return to school. Also being in yr 3 i dont think they even talk about it yet

    Yep, grade 3 is young, they don't start until grade 5 at our school. Good she is taking it well though.

    DP and I went to 2 book stores today to find some books. Some of them were a little toooooooo much info!!! There was even one about masturbating!!! Yeah, so NOT going to let an 8 year old ready that one! Geez! We even went to our local biblical store and ALOT of their books had lots of sex and boy talk. Something I am not prepared to give our 8yo!

    We did manage to find 2 books tho, and DD and i were reading one together tonight.

    I am so happy that I have that relationship with DD where she is not embarrassed to ask me anything. I actually had a bit of a giggle last night when DP was embarrassed about me explaining the difference between girls & boys and DD says 'What? I AM becoming a woman!' .... too cute!

    I'm sure I am going to be posting a little bit more in here now .... LOL
