First period...How long should bleeding go on for?

I was going to say the same congrats and commiserations. It's such a bittersweet moment because it's a wonderful celebration of their blossoming to a young lady. But sad for the sentimental saps like me who sobbed at them not being a little girl anymore

Mine first was 8 days solid. And continued like that, like clockwork until I had DD1.

I was 13.

I remember mine lasting for ages the first time, was probably 7 or 8 days, very light.

Mine was only a few days. And always has been. 4-5 days tops. I was 12.5.

I expect DD1 to get hers this year :/ I don't want it to happen. I hate having to deal with AF.

A lot of girls I know had their first, then 6-8 weeks til the next one. Took a good 6-12 months before they became regular.

I was 12 and mine was super light and went for 2 weeks. Then it was very sporadic until my 20s when it was around 5 days long.

DD12 got her first period last month, it lasted for 3 days and was very light. She was worried yesterday as it was due and asked me why she didn't get it lol.

I was 12 or just 13 I can't remember but it was on my year seven band camp. Yay for me! Not! And it was heavyish and lasted 7days.
