Hi girls,

I dont have a teenager (will one day and to be honest I think it will be one of the scariest part of raising children!!!) but I wanted to share with you a book that my mum bought for me when I was a teen.

It is called 'Girlosophy- A soul survival Kit'' and is written by Anthea Paul. She has other books as well, but 'Girlosophy' is the best one. I still look through this book as it covers so much in life and being a girl growing into a woman.

It has the most amazing pictures/photography in it and such inspirational messages about all things from being a girl, life, purpose, love, beauty, healing, energy, awareness, growth, spirit, hope and being a woman.

To some it may sound a bit like a self help book. It is not set out in this way but it does serve the purpose.

Maybe next time you're in a book shop you can have a flick through it. I know my gf's always look through it when they come over as it sits under my coffee table, not just now but also when I was 15, etc.

There is a website as well on the books that might give you a better idea of waht they are about. Just google "girlosophy".

It really helped me through my teen years.

Hope it can help any of your teen girls as well.
