ADVICE NEEDED: What tests do OB perform after 3 miscarriages???

Hi there
Just thought I'd ask what tests would your OB perform after three miscarriages? I have had the normal blood tests, and they were fine, just thought they may do some others?
Just wasn't sure and headed to the OB this Friday for the first time after the miscarriages!

Sorry to hear of your losses

My cousin had miscarriages for the past 5 years until they discovered she has PCOS and a blood clotting disorder. The Dr's assumed this was the cause of her miscarriages and she had to have daily hormone injections until 38ish weeks. She now has a healthy baby girl

Perhaps you could have the Dr's check for this?

Im in the same boat i have just had my third miscarriage and i am left wondering what next where do i go and what can be done. I am trying to be patience while i what for test to come back on the baby. It only been two weeks and i want to now.
I haven't spoken to my doc yet but am planning to ring her this week cause i am going insane.

hi- i have had 3 m/c.....i think i had a thyroid function test, BGL (testing for diabetes), Blood clotting tests as well (2 different ones). I had others, checking my progesterone and eostrogen. But there is a thread on BB that will tell you all sorts of different tests for recurrent m/c. I printed it out and took it in to my doctor and demanded they do them. All of my results came back normal.
