    Hi Munchy and Curl,
I know how you feel about the m/c effecting everyone in the family in different ways. My daughter said to me the other day "mummy you are always down" Boy that was a wake up call but also made me realise the toll the 3m/c have had on me emotionally and physically.

I had to stop the ginseng etc as it was causing me extreme insomnia So I'm going to try a different practioner on MOnday.. Im also going to another fertility clinic next week to talk to the experts.

On top of this my husband has a recurring testicular infection(not std) and has to go to a urologist. Since the m/c Ive had an irritated urethra/bladder that comes and goes but theres no infection showing up

We all have to just hang in there at the moment ladies and be the strong women we are.

its amazing what kids pick up on when you dont realise how you are acting around them its hard to not show your feelings at times, i try not to cry infront of my son but my counsellor told me that i should let it when i need to as my son will no that it is ok to cry and that mummy will have her down days and that i will be ok which is very true as i dont want my little boy to grow up and not show his emotions but its hard cos you feel like you want to protect them and make them feel like you are happy and that everything is fine. i just wanted to say your poor hubby with that infection i hope it gets sorted i bet you feel like its one thing after another at times i no i did last yr it was just a bad yr apart from getting married but like you said we will get through it we have to be strong ah.

    Hi Everyone,

I haven't been on for a few days and when I did last get online, I didn't write anything because of interruptions from DD's and DH....

Just checking how everyone is doing?

susan: I hope your new practitioner and fertility expert works out for you and your DH. Let us know of any sage advice they give you that can be shared. Your poor DH! The pain must be awful for him.

munchy: We too, were only married last year. We've been together for nearly 8 years but finally made it official 30th September 2006. Last year aside from our wedding was an odd year. Charlotte was newborn when DH went to the Persian Gulf (he's in the navy) for 6 months but really it was for 9 when you count the training beforehand. It was my first insight into single parenthood and I now have a new respect for all single parents... its a tough job fulfilling both parenting roles.

    Take care,

    Curl

    Hi Munchy and Curl,

How are you guys? I went to the new acupuncture/herbal specialist yesterday. He came highly recommended and was very professional - found out every detail about my health and the m/c's. He is going to treat me once a week and said that a lot of stress is running me down and that I needed to try and let go of my angels so that I could build up my strength for a new one. Makes sense to me in a way. I like the way that he is taking into account the emotional and physical side of things.

Hope you are feeling good and positive!

    Hi ladies,

I'm having a rough day actually. My aunty emailed my mum last week in an attacking rant re: my uncle's estate (he died Nov 06) and a few other things. Mum wouldn't stick up for herself so I did it for her. I received the reply a short time ago and she's missed my point completely. Some families have more problems than they're worth. It makes me so mad! I've had enough of them.

AF arrived properly for me too, which is good news. But, my PMS is apalling, which adds to my already unpleasant disposition at the moment.

sjs - very pleased to hear that your new practioner is all that you hoped. The advantage of eastern medicine over western is that they do treat the whole person and not just the symptoms, which is why you will find better results. I believe that both work well together in unison but you have to find a dr that is open minded enough to cooperate. When I next visit my gp I WILL ask him about possible treatments for myself to help get my balance back properly.

    Hi Cathy,

Sorry to hear about your day, unfortunately we can't choose our family and sometimes their behaviour can drive us insane! I've learnt with certain members of my family to care less about their reactions to me and the way I choose to behave. Good for you for sticking up for your mom!

I know what you mean about PMT - I'm sooooo emotional at the moment and feel sorry for DH as he's become a bit of a punching bag - I have to make more of an effort because he is so understanding.

    Good luck with this cycle,

    Susan

    Chinese Herbs/Accupuncture

    Hi everyone

I thought I would share my personal experience with accupuncture/chinese herbs. I started going in November last year and my husband and I went every week until April this year as I changed jobs and put in on hold for a month.

I felt better physically and emotionally going on a regular basis and low and behold my cycle In June I fell pregnant. We are now 12 weeks pregnant. We had been trying for 3.5 years and I believe this assistance is what helped us to concieve.
It took 6 months and many a time I would get upset that it was not happening quicker but it is good to put your focus on your personal health so that your body is ready for a baby.

Best of luck with your treatment!
