Tegam: Sorry AF showed up, her timing sucks! 2011 for all of us!

Rose123: Eee! Hoping it's good news for you!

Milly: Glad your feeling better sweetheart, this is the month!

WouldloveaBubba: That is hilarious! You done good girl, lol. Fingers crossed this is the month!

MatthewsMum: Oooh, really really hope you got some good numbers! Thinking of you sweetheart xo

Ami: Welcome, sorry for the hurdles that you've been through, I hope your find support here

AFM: Expecting AF sometime today. Still feel quite sad about it, but I know once I'm actually on day 1 I'll feel better. DH printed out a temping chart and blu-tak'd it above the bed, so he's getting into the temping, lol. Took my temp yesterday and it was 37.1, and today was 37, but I dont have anything to compare it to, lol. Going to my sister's today for a board game party (oh yeah, we hang with a real tough crowd) so that should be good. Distraction is good.

    Love to everyone!

Thanks for the welcome girls, you know how in the real world sometimes it's hard to talk about all this stuff, and you don't want to make people uncomfortable? I'm thinking that I won't have that problem here!

Tegam, I understand how you feel about a 2010 baby, it's exactly what I said to my DH the other day. I thought I was going ok, then I thought about not having a baby this year and I just started crying... Good luck, and hope you find yourself in a better place in 6 months, we've got to be positive!

Happy Easter everyone, time for me to lay off the chocolate (well now that I've finished it) & keep trying to get healthy & lose weight for the next baby. I've got 12kg to go for my goal.

    Hi all!

Im new to this..I have been reading a few of the posts and you all seem like a wonderful supportive bunch of ladies!
Ive only just realised in the last couple weeks that no-1 really understands what its like to go thru a m/c unless they have been thru one too.. it can be so frustrating, especially when u have ppl saying things like 'dont worry, u were only 9 weeks, it wasnt even a baby yet' It makes me so angry!
Im sure you are all going to be very helpful!

I had the dream i wld get married in sept 09 and fall pg on our wedding nite (it was even the day i was meant to ovulate!) obviously things dont always go to plan, i fell pg in dec but miscarried at 9 wks on feb 14th. I was absolutely devastated, as im sure you girls can relate with. At 23 i had never wanted something so much in my life and lost it.. i had never felt such sadness.

I thought I had begun to move on and heal emotionally until my younger sister found out she was pg 2 weeks ago and decided to terminate the pregnancy.. My heart was once more torn apart.. it felt like i was going thru it all over again. I cldnt believe she cld just throw my dream away.. altho i did understand it just wasnt wat she wanted yet.

This experience has been one big learning curve for me and I know it has made me a stronger person, but there are still days when I feel sad, angry and frustrated about what cld have been.

7 weeks down the track, 6 since i stopped bleeding, i still havent had AF.. I am wondering if any of you lovely ladies cld tell me how long it took for ur cycle to start up again?
I do have a little bit of hope that I cld be pg again but I am trying really hard not to get my hopes up.. I did a test 3 days ago which was BFN, it could still be too early but I really just think my cycle is taking a bit longer to kick in. Waiting is so frustrating!!!

I hope my stay here and all of urs isnt a long one but I am very grateful i can share my journey with others that can relate.. as well as hear about all ur experiences too..
    Thankyou

Good luck to everyone!!!! and im sorry this is so so long!! x

Ps. I have a lovely quote that helped me to put things into perspective a bit better
'Let go of the dream that was, as a process of making room for the dreams to come...'

    Hi Reet,

Welcome and i'm so sorry to hear about your story. It is difficult. To answer your question i was bleeding for 61/2 weeks after my loss in Jan. When it all settled down i had a menstral bleed exactly 20 days after it had stopped. I am now waiting for my next AF and hoping it doesn't arrive this coming Friday. I think once your cycle resumes you can try straight away once you are feeling ok. I hope this has helped and please don't worry it will come.
Let us know how you get on and good luck hon

oh damn! Just when I get my big catch up post in, we get a new thread

Reet and Ami - welcome to our thread.

Reet - I cannot believe someone told you that at 9 weeks you didn't have a baby - I lost my little one at 8 weeks and have been through a very real and difficult grief, as have others here. Every loss is difficult and sad and what you are going through is very normal for what you have been through. Big hugs to you and I hope you will be pg again soon. It took me six weeks after a curette to get AF, if that helps.

Ami had a smile about your chocolate eating...think I finished my last bit off tonight too and am feeling a bit sick after this weekend long suger fest. I'm sorry for the loss that you've been through - hope you can find the support and encouragement you need here - great bunch of women.

Kit - big night on the boards eh? Hope it was a bit of a distraction for you. That's one ace dh you got there girl - good luck with the charting, usually takes a few to get the idea of it all but hopefully you won't have to wait that long

Rose - I'm hoping it's just too early to show yet - get v. excited when I think a BFP is looming here. Keeping my fingers crossed.

MatthewsMum - so excited for you with your results so far - hope you get a beautiful blastie to put back and some to freeze. Lovely thought to bring the others home - I never did that but think it would have helped.

Mummyof4 - glad you got through the scan OK and that we can give you some extra support. All the best x

Hi to everyone sorry for no more persies - think I exhausted myself on the last thread! Hope you're all doing OK. Ferrals - thinking of you x

AFM - spent most of the day holding a newborn in my arms - is there anything like it? I just wanted to bring her home. Going to hold onto all those thoughts and feelings and use them to visualise getting our May bubba. Got more visitors arriving tomorrow so off to bed. Love to all,

    Alice x

ferrals - sorry you are feeling so bad - hope you feel better soon....

rose123 - haha! I'm glad we're not alone haha, I've not had many more symptoms - which has got me a bit down Although lying in bed tonight and i had slight cramps... but now they're gone... And don't worry about your bfn... i agree with everyone 10days is early hun xo

Alice - Thankyou! I don't do it all the time, i guess it's just a place i feel safe on here rather than in real life

JennaJayen - My laptop is one of the netbook ones - it's so tiny and cute... I got it with my tax rebate last year - he's my best friend why were you not allowed to sit in beanbags? and Ahhh! I think adult nappies are such a good idea

Matthew's Mum - I'm good thankyou, How are you? How's things?

Hi there Mummatomany & Ami, welcome and best of luck xxx

Hope you are all well!!! xxxx

Kitf - Glad your DH is helping you be enthusiatic about temping...

Sorry not many personals....way too much to catch up on....

AFM - We had a lovely wkend away, DH and DS fished their little hearts out, way too many fish Had lots of cuddles with my newest nephew, he smells so good hehe, it was a little bit sad at the same time though...Walked my puppy and SIL puppy lots to the park, heaps at the people who crossed to the other side of the road to us to avoid our dogs, and ate heaps of chocolate...Then went to mums on the way home....ate more chocolate to comiserate her BFN.
