Hi All,
I am new to this forum stuff and would like to meet like minded people who understand and have been through similar circumstances... My story is that dp and I have been ttc for about 8 months, finaly got a BFP at the end of June 2010 but a week later started to mc. I have had one visit from AF since and ttc again...it's cd21 and am so anxious to see if i get a BFP this cycle. has anyone heard of ladies getting pg 1 month after mc and it was all ok?? i'm really scared of going through another mc, all I want is to be a mummy.
Thanks for looking
I had a m/c at Christmas last year and was very fortunate enough to fall pregnant without getting AF at all. I tested 5 weeks post the end of m/c bleeding (it took 3 weeks to naturally m/c) and got a BFP then. I am now 28 weeks pg.
reeqld- I am in the same situation, too, and I think I have asked the same question in the forum and someone said it had happened to them (at least 2 ppl here)! So good luck and hope that you will get a BFP very soooooon!!
I had my first m/c in Dec 05 and was pregnant again 4 weeks later, didnt even get AF back! So its definately possible. That baby is now 4 years old Ive had 2 other m/c where Ive gotten pregnant within 2mths after them successfully.
I always did Ajello and it worked out as a normal cycle except for my first m/c as I ended up needing a d&c but my body must have counted it as "AF" because I got pregnant 2wks later.
hey reeqld - i am in a similar position. I had a m/c @ 6w6d on 3 july. i'm waiting for AF (if all gets back to normal, i should have had her on fri or sat just past), however I feel nauseous, tender boobs, tired and oh-so-moody. I've been "stalking" this site to see the answers to your question, so i thought it appropriate to chime in!
thanks to all who have responded, i have a gut feeling that i am pg again now... we dtd exactly 2 weeks after m/c (natural, bled for 6 days)...
its great to hear ppl have had similar or same experiences...
thinking of POAS in about 2 weeks, just in case my body is having a loooong cycle (and i dont want to get my hopes up).
Let us know how you get on reeqld, my fingers are crossed for a BFP for you!
Wow, Thanks everyone for your kind words, its so great to find people that really understand my situation!
Most of the people who know about my mc act like it isnt a big deal, fair enough it didnt happen to them but still its not something I can get over, nor do I want to.
I was just over 6 weeks pg when I mc, it shouldnt matter the length of time pg, I am still very upset, although i do try to hide it.
A lady I work with is pg ( would have been the same due date as me) and I am feeling really guilty for feeling jealous of her, I am happy for her but cant help feeling angry!
Has anyone else had these feelings? and do they go away with time? I am rambling here, not usually this tense...i'm in tww now and everything is getting to me
Anyway, it is so encouraging that all you lovely ladies are here to help!
malayna.shines, It sounds very promising with all those symptoms...you are strong for waiting 2 weeks to poas, I would have done so about 10 times already (i cant help myself!! got to know ) Good luck
I have the same same feeling. My good friend at church is pg and we started off almost the same time... Like you I feel very jealous. My emotions get more steady as my body feel more healthy physically... I don't think I will even forget the whole ordeal... but it had made me more aware and appreciate my body.
The hardest was going to family dinners and parties with friends. The worst for me is going to church- we do have a pretty big Sunday school full of cute little ones bouncing around!
I admit that I am feeling angry, too, esp I have a healthy niece turning 1 in a month! But I don't hold on the bitterness nor I deny my feeling. I know it is fading and everyday I am taking baby steps to deal with my emotions- taking a day at a time. I also keep remembering myself that conceiving has alot to do with my mental state... so I want to keep myself on a joyous note- though i must say the tww is driving me nuts, too
I understand what you say when you said that people dont think that its a big deal having a m/c at 6 weeks i was 5 and weeks when i had my m/c in april and feel pg in may now i am 13 weeks pg Good luck hun
BTW... this might help you feel better- I cant resist the temptation in this crazy TWW so i ripped out a HPT and got a BFN To comfort myself I went to have a cookie before bed- if I continue to get BFN, at this rate I am going to put on weight w/o being pg with a chocchip cookie follow any BFN!
So don't worry, we all become a bit "crazyish". That's why I'm here to get
I just wanted to say that I had a m/c in January '07 and was pg again the next cycle (in Feb '07) with DS2 who is now nearly 3, so I fell pg pretty much straight away with a healthy bub .
