    woohoo...im first

It was fine thanks Penny, my team leader was wonderful and told me that as soon as i felt i didnt want to be there anymore - then i should go home. He asked me a few times during the day how i was going and he was just wonderful.
He had told most people and i have to say that i never even once heard the "you can have more", or "it was gods way"...so i think i came out fairly well.

Thanks so much for asking Penny and to Kbowman and Mammal for their warm wishes this morning. I was so stressed out, i nearly had a panick attack.

Shoegal - have you done a test yet ???? im praying for you too !!!

Has everyone had a good day?

    hugs

Oh treelo I am so happy that your day at work went well. My first day back at work I could tell my boss was kinda holding her breath when I walked in and when I smiled and said i'm ok they let out a little sigh of relief. Its probably just as hard as other people who don't wanna say the wrong thing.

    Shoegal fingers crossed for you.

I am doing good my AF is due on the 24th but could come tomorrow or so. Fingers crossed!! My DH did say my boobs felt a lot heavier but I could have just gained a couple pounds.

Hey Lee, treelo and Zionsmom, thanks for asking.

Yes, I did test and have been very hesitant in announcing that I got a BFP on Saturday at 11DPO with a very feint pink line, and then a +e digital HPT the next day at 12DPO. I hope this is not too hard to hear for you girls, especially saltprincess and satya who were here in the beginning when I joined this thread. I really hope this doesn’t upset all you girls. I know even last week if I saw a pregnancy announcement I was upset.

AF is due today so I will do another HPT on Wednesday morning just to be sure, then my clinic has said that I could call them if AF hasn’t arrived and I could have a BT to check my HCG levels. So hopefully everything will be okay and I will know by Friday.

I feel quite differently from last time. Many more symptoms. Sore boobs, tiredness, hungriness. Not really nausea but the kitchen bin smells awful when I go near it (and I can’t usually smell it). DH didn’t do the dishes after dinner on Thursday night so as I was packing them up on Friday morning, the dirty wok made my stomach turn. Have also had very dull AF type pains as well.

I can’t believe I am announcing this now, DH would be cross if he knew! I’m not allowed to tell anyone until I’m 12 weeks according to him. But we'll see, I feel like my "innocence" has been taken away. *sigh*

    Please stick little one!

    Congrats Shoegal!!!!

Shoegal - that is fab news, I'm so pleased for you honey. I'm sure that this will be a sticky one. All the best with the Doc and hope that your numbers are nice and strong.

Treelo - So glad that your day went well. The anticipation is the worst!! You poor thing, bet you were feeling sick to your stomach this morning. Hope the rest of the week goes smoothly for you.

Kerry - So sorry to hear that AF is on her way... don't give up hope yet though. It's not over until AF arrives.

Pash - best of luck with all the tests. Hope that your scan turns up some answers for the increase in pg hormones. How did your interview go? I have not developed a testing plan yet, besides being scared silly to test. Am currently 11DPO but think I might be able to hold off until at least 14DPO as I a too scared of getting a BFN.

Satya - Do you have your coverline yet sweetie? Hope you are doing well.

Salt - How are you going lovely? Hope that your folks are doing ok. Been thinking of you and hope that all is well.

Big hello to Lee, Lizjessie, Penny, Zionsmum and anyone else I've missed, hope you are all going well.

    love

    Hi Girls,

I haven't been in for ages so thought I'd pop in and see what was going on. Glad to hear that there is some good news!

Shoegal - congratulations, hope all goes well for you!
Treelo - glad to hear all went well at work - it's one of the worst feelings to walk back in to work for the first time!

Well, we're still TTC. Finding it very frustrating which I know doesn't help. So many of our friends who I would have been pg with are now having their babies. I'm very happy for them, but still find it hard.

Our TTC campaign was interrupted this month as I had to go to QLD for a wedding on the wknd and DH didn't come. Just my luck, my ovulation day was Saturday!!! Hopefully Thursday, Friday or yesterday got through! Such a small window. Fingers crossed.

Hugs and kisses to you all.

What fabulous news, Shoegal! I’m doing a happy dance for you.

Treelo - I’m so relieved to hear your day at work was okay. What a nice team leader.

Mouse - I feel for you. Recently, a few people with EDDs close to the baby I lost have announced their pregnancies. That’s hard enough, so I can only imagine what you’re going through. Hang in there!

    CONGRATS Shoegal!

Shoegal!!! CONGRATULATIONS!! That is wonderful news! And with all the lovely comforting PG symtoms too! I am delighted for you! Wishing you a sticky, healthy & relaxed pregnancy.

Penny & Kerry Yep, I think London should really be another state of Aus. I think we have enough voters here for a constituency at least! Kerry I really don't know anything about charts... sorry.
Treelo Glad your first day back went well. Your team lead sounds lovely.
LizJessie PPl's reactions to m/c can be so hurtful & frustrating. I find that sometimes, even asking them to not say something doesn't help cos it is what they are thinking, so it comes out at unexpected times. (PS Hope you feel better soon)
Lee Your weekend sounds lovely. You are so patient, are you still waiting till 12wks for your first scan? Did you ever pursue a negligence claim with the hospital BTW? Because it really shouldn't have happenned, and really really shouldn't happen again.
Leyla 14DPO would be my testing date too, when I eventually get there!
ZionsMum Bigger BBs sounds v promising! Keeping my for you.
Mouse IKWYM about the short ttc window. I often wonder how ppl who travel M-F for work do it. Still, I hope it worked for you this cycle.

I had my interview today, and it was a near disaster cos the agency told me a different time to the interviewer. Fortunately I was there an hour earlier than an hour later. I think it went well, but the area was really really dodgy, south of Brixton (for those who've lived here). As I tottered through empty alley ways, under rail bridges & through a deserted park, I was thinking maybe sneakers would be a better sneakers would be better for a quick getaway than high heels!

Hi to anyone I missed, and I hope everyone is well...

Shoegal - congrats on the BFP. Sending you heaps of .
That's great news. I take this type of news much better in the second half of my cycle, as I'm always so hopeful during it. When people announce their pg around when my AF arrives it sends me into a tailspin. I'm 5DPO so I can just be really happy for you and not have any selfish thoughts about it.

Treelo - glad all went well yesterday.

Leyla - Yes I got a coverline on CD13 & I'm CD5 now and waiting for the silly fake symptoms to start up. I've done well so far, I've only had a huge pimple and a headache this morning, which is much improved on previous cycles.

Pash - Glad your interview went well....eventually.

    Hi to everyone else.

CD18 5DPO for me now. Had a .3 rise in temp this morning which was exciting, but I've had this before only for it to drop the next day so I'll just keep a watch on it. I also woke up with a nasty pimple and throbbing headache this morning. Must run... time to head to work.

SHOEGAL - YAH - so happy for you! My heartfelt congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now you're on the roller coaster ride, and I it's a smooth one, as I'm sure it will be!

Satya - I got a huge zit (actually 2) before my bfp - okay, perhaps we over-analyse at times, but a zit is better than no zit!! for you this cycle Satya!!

Pash - To answer your question, yes - we are pursuing a negligence claim. It's a slow-ish process (unfortunately). My baby's death is the before the Coroner first, but that does not halt us from suing the hospital. It's just so depressing, to think his death could have been prevented. There's nothing I can do about it but sock it to them now, and ensure better procedures are in place for babies born there in the future. I have a new Ob for this baby, the best in Tassie, and he's across all the issues. I will see him next Friday for my first appointment, and hopefully I'll be reporting in all is well with the bub. Legal action could take 1-2 years, so it's going to drag out...

    Hello to everyone else !!

Everyone, thankyou so much. You comments are really appreciated. I’m glad I could share our good news with you all.

Kerry – thankyou for you sticky vibes!

Treelo – your tears are matched by my tears, thankyou.

Leyla – thankyou, will hopefully be able to have a BT on Thursday and can confirm on Friday.

Zionsmom, Penny, Mammal – thankyou for your kind words.

Mouse – I hope you caught the egg!

Pashie – thanks hun, job interview sounds interesting! Hope you get it.

Kiwigirl – thankyou, will update when I know more.

Satya – thanks! Your temp rise sounds promising, the zit too! Hope it is your month!

Lee – thank hun, hopefully I can join you and Bun in the PAML thread, I’ve been stalking it for ages!!

Not much else to report, I want to shout it from the rooftops. My mum and sister visited us last night and I so wanted to tell them. I feel like my heart is about to burst. I said to DH last night that if this little one doesn’t stick, then I would rather feel this joy and happiness and cherish it while it does stick.
