Ovulation after miscarriage

Hello, thankyou for all the responses!

I chart my temp and am used to regular 32 day cycles. Since the miscarriage they have been between 2 and 5 weeks with no temp rise.

I had a natural miscarriage last year and ovluated 2 weeks later. Just a bit concerned this time.

I really don't have any answers for you, but it's been over 4 months since I had my D&C and my cycle still hasn't gone back to what used to be 'normal' for me. My AF is irregular, I've been having spotting mid cycle, I've use OPK's and ovulated at different times each of those months and this month it seems as though I dodn't ovulate at all (i'm now CD32 - still no 'o') - it sucks basically!!! I'm thinking (or hoping really) that it just takes a bit of time for some of us for our bodies to recover after m/c.

Have you used the OPK's?? They do seem to work for me, moreso than temping.

I have used OPK's for 2 cycles, one being the month I fell pregnant. The first month I got the sign I was ovulating, the month I fell pregnant, I didn't!

It is cruel that on top of everything else it messes with your cycle too. It makes it much harder to move on.

Hopefully it shouldn't be much longer.

Hi there, I dont have much advice, just wanted to wish you luck and say I know it can be hard.
I am using OPKs this cycle, and have just had a positive surge, about 3 weeks since my D&C...so my cycle is obviously longer this time...
I hope yours returns to normal soon.

This is my first post so i am not up with all the forum jargon/shortcuts.
We have been TTC for 20 mths now and during that time have suffered one misscarriage in Sept 08 at 6wks, this is first cycle TTC since and have suffered major pains in lower abdomin around the possible time of ovulation.
Have not experienced anything more than a slight twinge in any other cycle, if anything.
I noticed in the gap 'cycle' between miscarriage bleed and next bleed, around the day 13,14,15 mark similar pains, but not as bad as this cycle.
Hoping just ovulation pains, but am concerned may be something more.
There were concerns when i had the misscarriage that it may have been ectopic, however gyno was happy enough with lowering HCG levels that just a natural misscarriage.
My accupunturist is not sure what pains could be.

I had a missed miscarriage 6 weeks ago and a D&C because my body wouldn't give up the idea of being pregnant...
4 weeks later we finally found the courage to have sex!
The D&C was traumatic for me *down there* as I had some major complications...
I did an OPK that night after having sex because I had pools of EWCM (I know the difference between EWCM and sperm and it was definately EWCM).
It came up postive!
1 week after that I started getting pregnancy symptoms...
2 weeks after a positive OPK, a positive HPT...

So 6 weeks after my D&C I'm pregnant.

I think you should go see your doctor and just get it checked...
When I went to my dr for a BT after a BFP, I said I was shocked at my cycle after having the D&C and he said it was very normal but if you miscarried naturally, I don't know that it would be the same...
Have you had a BT lately?
Did you have a scan to make sure your loss was complete?

Don't know that that helps any but I would see my doctor...

hi. I'm new to this forum. Had been ttc for 4 months and had a m/c in October (just got back first negative HCG result this week)--but had similar pains (I think) to mummawannabe. is it possible I'm already ovulating again? did a OPK and it showed up a faint test line and a dark control line. when I did them before preg/m/c, I got no test line sometimes, followed by faint test line closer to mid-cycle. I know that faint test line is supposed to be negative, but I'm wondering b/c of the no test line before. does anyone have any advice on interpreting?
