    Ovulation after miscarriage

    Hi every-one

I'm looking for stories about ovulating after miscarriage.

This is my 3rd cycle since and still no ovulation. I was very regular prior to this.

    What are your experiences?Xx

Sorry SHell, I haven't heard of this problem. Are you temping/charting? Just curious to kow how you know that you aren't ovulating if you have had 3 cycles?

I would suggest looking into acupunture?

Hi shell, I am sorry to hear about your loss. After I lost my son I had a D&E and I was pregnant again in 3 months, the first month that I ovulated. After my daughter was born I ovulated for the first time after 3 months again. I got pregnant but had a very early loss. I was pregnant again the next month.

how do you know that you have not ovulated? Usually with an early loss you ovulate right away. My cycles are really short when I do not ovulate (22 days) and really long when i do (32 days). I also have ovary pain when I ovulate.

You might want to give your doctor a call and see what they think. I know that it is difficult but try to be patient.

In ovulated 2 weeks after my m/c and I got preg that cycle. Do you use Ovulation predictor kits? thats what I used as i didnt get many signs of ovulation (no mucus and no pain) I found them very helpfull and they worked both times for me!
    Best of luck!

Hello, thankyou for all the responses!

I chart my temp and am used to regular 32 day cycles. Since the miscarriage they have been between 2 and 5 weeks with no temp rise.

I had a natural miscarriage last year and ovluated 2 weeks later. Just a bit concerned this time.

    Thanks again.

    Xx

    Hi Shell,
I really don't have any answers for you, but it's been over 4 months since I had my D&C and my cycle still hasn't gone back to what used to be 'normal' for me. My AF is irregular, I've been having spotting mid cycle, I've use OPK's and ovulated at different times each of those months and this month it seems as though I dodn't ovulate at all (i'm now CD32 - still no 'o') - it sucks basically!!! I'm thinking (or hoping really) that it just takes a bit of time for some of us for our bodies to recover after m/c.

Have you used the OPK's?? They do seem to work for me, moreso than temping.

    Good luck
