Vanaithi - I can't surf that's why I have that photo!! I borrowed a surf board off my cousin and gave it a go. It was awesome fun. I managed to stand up for about 2 seconds!! One day I'll learn. I was planning to learn at Christmas this year. But hopefully I'll be UTD so it will have to wait.

KL - May be if we both go to bed now, the world will be fooled and morning will come sooner??

WTH - Sorry to hear. ing for you that it's just a little hiccup and everything will be ok.

AFM - EWCM yesterday, O pain today Let's see what the morning brings.

Wow - 5 pages in a day ..... we go beyond chatty now!

and hello to the ladies who have just joined us. I am so sorry to hear of the circumstances that brought you here, but I know that this is a place where you will find unmatched warmth and support.

plc - for your fabulous 12 week scan! What a huge relief for you. I completely understand what you were saying in your blog, how it all feels a bit surreal now because you were expecting the results to be not so good. Enoy the rest of your preg. Thank you for your encouragement in ttcaml - hopefully i will be brave enough soon to join you over in paml

issy - so glad to see you're back - hope you get some answers on your cycle soon

wth - big big .. I hope all goes well with the prog supplements. I'll be thinking of you...

AFM- I had a call this afternoon from the ultrasound clinic and my first scan appt has been moved up from 16 July to Friday 11 July at 3.45pm. Just have to manage to stay sane until then....

And this may make me sound like the HUGEST sad sack, but I'm heading off now to watch the live final of Australia's Next Top Model (I am very sad but very addicted!!)

bbl for more persies .... hugs, and for all of you!

Jenushka - great news to hear that your scan has been moved foreward. Is there a waiting list, or do you need to wait until a certain date? When I booked my scan in for my last preg, I could have gone that day, but I had to wait a week until I was at 6 weeks. They were going to look at the heart beat. Didn't get that far.

Hey Joey! How's the school hols treating you? I used to be a primary school teacher and the holidays were definitely a huge perk of the job. Well done also for getting dh to bd covertly!! I really hope that you manage to catch that eggie

For this pg I pretty much refused to go back to Qld Xray for u/s (had a horrible experience with them when they couldn't find a h/b with my angel) and lots of ppl including my gp recommended Qld Ultrasound for Women on Wickham Tce in the city. I think because they're so popular it meant that the earliest i could get in was 5 weeks from when i rang! The receptionist put me on a waiting list there for an earlier appt and finally got the call today - will be about 8w by then. Strangely I am a bit "whatever will be" about this pg - last time round I raced in for the absolute earliest scan I could ... putting myself in the hands of the universe this time and hoping for the best

Easha - I used opks for the last 2 months ttc and was lucky enough to get good positives with them. I have a 30 day cycle, and started using the opks from CD14 onwards. Got positives on CD 16 and CD 17. The month i fell pg we bd every night CD14 - 19. I was not going to miss that eggie! Good luck with your bd fest and would love to hear how you get on with the opks...

Tina k - thanks hun!! Hope the 2ww isn't being too nasty to you. I have every finger and toe crossed for a bfp for you this cycle - I know how much it would mean to you. When will you test?

Jen - how you doing lovely? Hope the witchy witchface hag AF is on her way out. Thanks for the compliment on the pic and don't be so hard on yourself - you look FAB in yours...

Krystielove - you are absolutely spot on in your comments about ds!! So glad to hear you had a good time at the melb meet up.

Back to joey - LOVED the 2ww article, and my favourite tip was palming a day of stressing off to ppl you know (dh, mum, mil, friends). Then let them tell us not to stress ... and to just relax!

jenushka: thanks sweets, my cycle has been about 30-32 days lately, so im going to try towait till day 32...reality is, im prob not that strong so ill prob test on Sunday (CD30, which is only 8dpo...hmm, now that i think about it, maybe thats too early?) i guess the answer is, i dont really know!!!!

WTH - I crossing all my fingers and toes that your little one is holding on super tight! Hopefully the pessaries will help increase your prog levels and get your pregnancy back on track for you. My thoughts are with you sweetie

    Joey
    - Bring on sleep and your temp increase in the morning!!! That's one helluva pre-ovulation temp dip you have there. At least you know that the temp surely can't go any lower

    Jenushka
    - I too am a "top model" addict! I wanted Sam to win after the last few episodes, so was disappointed when she left. I thought Caris took some amazing photos too. I won't spoil the outcome in here in case anyone has taped it to watch later, but I've posted my thoughts in the thread about the show
Apparently I am sadder than you though because I also watched Gossip Girl...

Easha - I only used OPK's once before and didn't find them hugely useful, but I tend to get pretty noticeable ovulation pain which for me was a better indicator. I think the problem I had was trying to determine whether the 2nd line was lighter or darker than the control line. They would be much simpler to use if they just all showed up negative until you were definitely ovulating.
As for when to BD, my DH and I were trying to do it daily. I've read some places that every 2nd day is good, and others say that daily is good. I think that twice a day might lessen the amount of sperm in the semen. But then again, some sperm is better than none yeah?

    Tina
    - I'm all for medically induced comas for the TWW

You know you're addicted to BB when:

    1. You sign a 2-year contract and pay $60 more per month just to have wireless internet service for a 5 day camping trip!

    2. Your significant other walks in on you checking the position of your cervix, and actually gets turned on from it!

    3. You resort to becoming an adult film industry advocate in order to keep things alive during those fertile times!

    4. You read, post, and then refresh to read again in case you missed a post while posting!

    5. You dream of being the first to post in the new thread!

    6. You feel like you are wasting urine when you don't pee on a stick!

    7. You see abbreviations in everyday life and try to work out what they mean in the TTC world (eg. DVD must stand for something like "Doing the vjay vjay dance"...)

    8. When you get excited about choosing a new ticker....oh the choices!!!!!

    9. You actually think in emoticons and abbreviations...and occasionally call your husband DH....and he says, "what the hell did you call me????".

    10. And the biggest one of all....DH actually asks if it was a light or dark "BFP" (not positive test) and whether or not you used "FMU" to test!!!! (all in abbreviations...)

    11. When getting a coverline makes you so happy, you feel as though you won the lottery!

    12. When you look forward to going to bed just so you can wake up in the morning and add a new temp!

    13. You say you are taking a break from bb and then spend 24 hours trying to do anything but log on, including cleaning, washing, ironing, shopping, all the while saying to yourself don't do it don't do it don't do it before finally breaking down and getting your bb fix...

    14. You drag yourself out of bed at 6 am every morning even though you're still tired, just to have "quiet alone time" on BB while the kids are still sleeping!

    15. You get the butterflies while logging on to read posts!

    16. You keep your computer on all day long so you know as soon as someone has made a post!

    17. You know you are addicted to BB when you go to put the date on something and you end up writing 9 DPO!

    18. You're whole day is ruined just because you can't log onto BB, and you feel like you're going to go insane without it!

    19. You climb a slide and drive up the tallest hills at your camp spot trying to find a signal so your laptop will work!

    20. You bring your laptop to the drive-in with you so you can check on posts in between shows!

    21. You check your chart at least every half hour, because what if somehow it changed?

    22. You wake up at 2:30 in the morning to use the toilet, and contemplate logging on to see if there's any good news that can't wait until morning!

    23. You wake up at 3 a.m. and have to pee so bad, but you know you'll wake up at 6, so you hold it for three more hours so that you don't ruin your temp!

    24. You toss and turn every morning waiting for it to be time to take your temp!

    25. When DH comments that he's your family, not the girls on BB! (What does he know, anyway? lol...)

    26. You sign on from your mobile phone to let off some steam!

    27. You post 3 times in a row, and twice was just because you ran out of smilies!!!

    28. When you're reading and typing posts in your dreams!

    29. When sitting on the couch watching TV, you position yourself so that you can see the computer screen so you know as soon as a message pops up! Not only that, but you end up watching the computer screen more than the TV!

    30. You run to check posts during an ad break of a show you're watching, then an hour later you realize you missed the end of your show!

OMG, I when I went to bed we were at the end of the other thread--now we're at the end of page 2 on the new thread! See, that's the biggest bummer with the time difference, you all get to gab and fill pages while I'm sleeping! Then when I'm awake, you're all asleep, then off to work! Damn, why must people have to actually work for a living! Too bad we can't get paid to sit and read posts all day long!

plc-- What can I say besides you'll be missed dearly! I can't even imagine this thread without you! I'm so very happy for you that your 12 week scan went so well, and congratulations on the official move to the PAML thread! Hope you get your thyroid issue resolved--I had radiation back when I was a Sr. in high school for an over-active thyroid, and now have to take a thyroid replacement pill every day. When I was pg with my oldest son my body started producing the hormone again (strange since it should've been gone due to radiation), so I ended up having to stop taking my pill everyday because the level was too high. With my 2nd son the hormone stayed the same throughout the pg'cy, so didn't even have to change doses. Hope you get it all worked out! Please check in on us now and again so we know how things are progressing! You'll be missed baby mama! Big, big, huge

Van--A teddy bear, huh? Oh, never mind, I see you've taken that back! lol... Between you and Krystie I feel like a curly-haired teddy bear!

    bettyboop--:woot: for great test results!!

Krystie-- that's a post O temp jump I'm seeing! Hey, a medically induced coma--now there's a great idea for the 2 weeks prior to O, and for the TWW after! You had me with your depiction of a porn star! LMAO!!

Toccara--I must admit, I've been pressing the middle of my big toe for 20 min. now!!! lol...

Oh, no, I've run out of smilies.... next page!

    Part 2...

joey--Loved the TWW list! My favorite is making an appeal to the committee (sperm, egg, etc..), though now I can't remember all of it, and don't want to lose my post, so my shortened, un-humorous version will have to do!

Baby blue eyes--So sorry to read of your loss I pray that your TTC journey is short and sweet, and you're blessed with a quick BFP!! Glad you found your way to our little thread, I'm sure you'll find lots of support and understanding from this amazing group of girls!

WTH--No, no, no! the progesterone pessaries help to increase your prog.! Has your dr. put you on bed rest or anything? Oh, hun, you're in my thoughts and prayers!

treelo--Yay! So glad to see you're back and TTC again! Hey, I finally got a few pics in the gallery (and you thought I forgot!). Finally figured out that the software for my camera won't work on my Mac, so going to hook it up to the spare computer and send some better pics to my computer so I can post those--I don't really care for the ones that are in my gallery now, but I'll update them with better photos asap!! Thanks for coming back to us!!

jenushka--Oh, come on, you don't gotta lie to kick it! ( that's what DF always says--but I'm j/k!) I never like any of my pics! Seems like AF is on her way out the door, I think she'll be completely kicked out by the end of the day! Yay! Oh, and I'm so happy for you that your u/s was moved up! Can't wait to hear all about that beautiful little

Hey smi! Hope your is treating you kindly and moving quickly!!

I was about to go to bed, but just had to come back when I saw that you had posted Jen! I tried to google for an image that had a teddy bear with long curly hair... but alas it could not be found I also think you look like a pretty cool chick, so I found an appropriate picture but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link to it. Is that against the BellyBelly rules?

Well, I've just read through the forum guidelines and the section about links and can't find anything that says we're not allowed to put a link to a picture (unless it's advertising). So hopefully I'm allowed to link to the picture of Jen the "cool chick"

PS. Someone pleeeeeease let me know if this is not ok. I don't want to get smacked my any mods
