Hi Jen - just thought i'd pop in and say hello seeing as though we are both awake at the same time. I'm working at the moment (shhhh) the kids are eating their morning teas before we head outside to play (3, 2 & almost 2 year olds). Temps are looking good for both of us, glad to see AF packing her bags at your place, have a good talk with her before she leaves, let her know she is really unwelcome and you don't want to see her for a long while. Anyway, i'll just pop out and get back to work now.
for everyone. Hoping this thread sees lots and lots of BFP's.
WTH - Thinking of you and sending lots of your way.
My next scan is the NT scan on Thu next week. A little bit nervous but I still just have that feeling that everything is going to be ok. Will pop in and let you know how it all goes.
WTH: whoever told you you're unlucky should be shot. seriously. that is sooooo WRONG. who says things like that. insensitive pr*ck$%@* i the progesterone works & keep your little one with you, alive & kicking... please stay strong...
Me again. Tired and not focusing too well on my tasks today...
Vanaithi, Jen, AJC, Mollycat - thanks for your continued support this morning.
So, here's a question:
Do you think I would be naughty if I self-administered one Cartia (low dose baby aspirin) a day to be on the safe side? I have heard you have to stop at 36 weeks (though that is jumping the gun a bit). I have had some blood tests done, not all, and they only found a low ANA titre of 80 (which was repeated with the same result) which is not thought to be clinically significant.
Also, I have read that the progesterone pessaries don't stay in your blood for long, so would I be better off taking it morning and night (not just night)?
I know these are very naughty questions , but I just don't want to regret that I could have done more.
WTH - can't blame you for asking the 'naughty' questions. I don't know anything about asprin so i can't help there. But with progesterone I don't think there is any problem with a high progesterone level so I have to personally admit that I probably would do the progesterone am & pm. Some of the other girls may know alot more about that though as I've never had to use progesterone pesaries. But from what I have read there is no problem with high preogesterone levels.
Your last post sounds very determined so i don't think bub will be game to go anywhere - except maybe implant just a little tighter
The '12ww' is agonising isn't it?!?! Are you having any more follow up BT's?
Also - someone (I'm sorry I can't remember who) was talking about reflexology. I had reflexology the month I conceived this bub. I found it sooooo relaxing (way more relaxing than even a massage).
AJC - it is so good to have you understanding gals to talk/whinge/cry to.
I have a BT tomorrow. Verrrrrrrry nervous. My levels have so far been:
Day 28: 110 HCG and 170 P4 (prog)
Day 30: 269 HCG (more than doubled, fine with that)
Day 36: 1987 HCG (almost doubled every second day) but 89.7 P4.
I think tomorrow's HCG result will really reflect what is going on.
Did you get a second test for your P4? If so, was it similar?
I now officially hate the 12WW. And even if we make it that far, we then have to contemplate a CVS. I can't imagine we will feel comfortable about this PG in the near future. If it does not work out I am very concerned I will have to have my 3rd D&C in less than 12 months. That can't be good for my lining...
I have asked poor DH to call my FS this afternoon to try and get more out of him. My FS was not concerned when I spoke to him yesterday. But he did not witness the exact same stuff happening to me in my prior PG so he is coming across as optimistic. I want realistic.
