Sweet dreams Van! Glad to have the pronunciation of your name--I've always wondered how to say it properly--was thinking it was Vanaithi-- that doesn't really help does it? Ok I thought it was pronounced Vana ithi-- does that make sense? I thought it sounded just like it looked, there that's probably the best way to say it! DF is definitely the crazy one in the family--I'm the only sane one! (scary thought, I know!) DF does his own piercings and tattoos, as well! Will try to do my part in keeping up the "chatterboxing"!
tutmae--Keep going for that gold! Remember you have up to 24 hrs. after O that you can still get pg, so don't let DH off the hook yet!
Oh Iam addicted to tattoos.... I have two so far (one on my wrist of a old school sparrow, and one on my arm for Lilah) and I can't wait ti get more!!!! You're DF must be a brave one- I'd be far to nervous to tattoo anyone!!
My DH has most definitely not gotten off the hook yet!! There's no way we're missibng our window!!
I'd be far too nervous to tattoo on myself, screw anyone else! I have 2 frogs on my right hip--no, I don't like frogs... just thought they were really cute! He made them green, red, and yellow (rasta colors!), and last summer we actually went over them with... grrr, can't think of what it's called... anyhow, they glow under a black light! Oh, I know, UV (ultraviolet) ink! So I have a little black light on my keychain so I can show off my frogs at a moment's notice!
Heehee! Thats awesome!!! I'm saving to get another swallow, and two roses on my shoulders. Didn't know you could get UV! Thats a bit too scary for me.... I'm a big wuss.... Is it time to test yet? AH!!!!
The tattoo shops don't even do UV tats, so the few of us that have them are pretty used to showing them off by now! DF gave his oldest DD an invisible star on her wrist a couple weeks ago, his younger DD has an invisible rose that he gave her last summer, then last week she got a little vine with flowers on her ankle (it's a regular tat, not invisible). I flipped out last summer when my then 6 y/o son wanted a tattoo, and DF kept telling him ok, gets everything out, makes a dot... and DS had enough! He actually has 2 dots on one of his legs, one black the other green--they just look like a spot from the tip of a pen. It was then that I realized DF wasn't actually going to give him a tattoo, he just wanted to show him that he really didn't want one yet! Oh, and my oldest DS has his initials right above his knee--I wasn't too happy about this one, either, because they waited until I walked out of the room and did it real quick. I did walk in on them doing it, but I let it go on because DS is a little wimpy (wimpier than my 7 y/o!) and he was sitting there not complaining for a change! His friends don't even believe him that it's a real tattoo because it was just something they did really quick, so it just looks like it was written in pen!
So you're just up waiting for DH to get home again? Did you say he's a musician?
