Morning ladies!!

Here's a bit more info on the implantation dip, courtesy of FF...

Can you tell by looking at my chart if I could be pregnant? Are there signs of implantation or pregnancy achievement on my chart?

Unfortunately, there is just no way to be sure, from looking at your chart before you can take a pregnancy test, whether or not you could be pregnant. Though the signs are not certain, Fertility Friend's "Pregnancy Monitor" will scrutinize your chart and identify if you have signs of possible implantation, or possible pregnancy on your chart.

Signs of implantation or possible pregnancy, however, (brief spotting, a second temperature shift or a temperature dip at about seven to ten days after ovulation) can happen with or without conception and implantation. In fact, all these chart patterns frequently occur on charts that do not result in pregnancy. These signs are thus quite unreliable for early pregnancy detection, though they can offer some clues.

Implantation signs and very early pregnancy signs are considered 'hindsight' signs. They are something that you can speculate about once you know you are pregnant but you can never be sure that they are related to implantation or pregnancy achievement.

The best signs to see on a chart when you are hoping for pregnancy are: a clear thermal shift, well-timed intercourse in the days before ovulation, and temperatures that remain high past your usual luteal phase length.

KL - Welcome back! Glad to see you made it out the other side of your seminar. Least you now know how to train a hippo next time you come across one. I beleive they are very dangerous, so that's possibly something that will come in quite handy one day! If she could get a dolphin to ejeculate on command, did she happen to mention how to get our DH's to?? Now that could be very helpful.

Hoey / Joey what ever. As long as you're nice to me!!

Foils - I get them now, but it's the toner that they add afterwards, that they 'shampoo' into your head. I think I will give it a miss. Lucky I got them done yesterday! I wonder if they can do the foil thing with out toner? I'll talk to my hair dresser next time before I book in. But if I'm fat and glowing, who cares what my hair looks like!!

You're beating me in the DPO race. FF just moved my O line, so now I'm on 3DPO today, I think you are on 5.

Jen - Well done on you're competition start! Good luck with the race.
I loved that mood smile!! Seems I was actually asleep while you were posting. Don't worry - probably still yapping away anyway!
I like the sound of alarms! Perhaps one for O, and a really big loud one for when the BFP arrives!!

Tutmae - Well done on being strong. I'm sure this is a very hard time for you. I'm way off my EDD, so not sure how I'll go when the time arrives. Just think, soon you'll have your own little bun growing nicely.

Vanaithi - I just emailed you again, to hotmail. Let me know if you get it. I would like to borrow your book if that's ok. Are you sure you have finished with it? I like to keep my books, like this, cause I always refer to them over and over. If you like, when I'm finished with it, I can send it back to you, or just forward it on to the next person who wants it. What ever you like. Perhaps wait a week, fingers crossed I won't need it!! Waiting for that BFP!!

I think the cup idea is a good one. Very practicle!

Glad to hear that you think that Jen is way toooo active. I'm in your boat. Every 2nd day is plaently for me and DH.

I can't beleive you're going to be offline for long periods of time. Are you sure you'll be ok? We'll miss you. May be you could steal one from work. They wouldn't notice, surely!

Jen - cool! glow in the dark!! Your DH is clever. Showing him how much it hurts, rather than just saying no and sounding like a party pooper.

AFM - Well, I don't know when UTD symptoms are supposed to start, but I have tingling, more so than sore, BB's. And just now, I was bawling my eyes out cause DH had a winge cause I didn't want to eat Chinese tonight cause of a chance of Listeria. Of course he didn't understand cause he didn't know I was in the 2WW. So I told him we were in the 2WW and now he understands. But I bawled. Haven't cried that hard since my MC. So don't know if that's a sign of AF or UTD. I'm hoping it's the second one. I'm thinking that it would be too early to be getting sore BB's. I'm only 3DPO. Wouldn't I have to wait for the implant for symptoms to start? That seems logical. There should be no hCG in my system. Is the HCG what causes the symptoms, or is it something else? Grrr. 2WW over yet?????

So, I'm going shopping soon. It's my birthday on the 17th and there's nothing really that I want, except clothes, so DH just said to go out and buy what you want But you know that when ever you get an opportunity like that, there's nothing that you like. I'm really concervative and boring with my dress sence. Jeans and a top, everywhere. I really want something new to wear to my 30th party in a couple of weeks, but I'm sure I'll just wear my same ol usuals. Oh well, I'll go looking and see what I come up with.

Have a great day everyone.
