pbstar - thanks for telling me about your experience :) it helps to hear the most information possible :) Let me know how it goes with getting to a 28 day cycle, I'd love one! :) A woman I know who is a midwife recommended a naturopath in town..maybe I should make an appointment. Has anyone seen a naturopath? What do they do and what sort of costs can I expect?
Vanaithi - Well I talked to DH about it, and he's as desperate for a baby as I am, so doesn't mind the cost of swapping supplements, so it looks like I'll be changing over to Blackmores Concieve Well also! My m/c was last June, and I didn't keep track of my cycles for a while afterwards, but since I've been taking notice, they've been shortish with a strange AF.
Looks like AF is feeling like being here more. I'm having some cramps and a slightly heavier flow. I just love my cups of tea, but I'm so worried about the caffiene content. Oh dear.

acria: i spoke to a lady who went to a healer (?) naturopath (?) and apparently crystals - rose quartz kept close to your body at all times, smokey quartz next to the bed during bding, & eating a carrot & a banana a day will get you pg! im thinking of trying this as well, once i figure out where i can get crystals. wouldnt hurt - need all the help you can get hey! also i heard accupunture can help too. which i am might try as a last resort. if you do decide to go to a naturopath, please let me know how that goes! :)
-
I'm willing to try anything! I have some crystals my grandfather gave me, so I'll grab the rose one and keep it in my pocket or something, and place the smokey one on the bedside table. Bananas and carrots, here I come! I've heard acupuncture is good as well. I think we'll try one more cycle 'on our own', and then see this naturopath. I'll use this month, 25 days, however long this next cycle decides to be, to drop some weight as well, as I'm sure being 40kg overweight is certainly not helping!

went and got BT done today and i will get results friday morning.
-
Jen - hun - i have everything crossed for you. I truly hope it is the cycle for you  I'm sorry that I don't have mollycat's dedication to you - the hours that I get to sleep without being woken up by DS are golden!!!!! GL sweet!!
mollycat - u mustn't know yourself with all ur new renos!!! look after urself too!!
nickster - so great to hear from you!! glad ur doing so well.
betty - GL with bts!
acria - can't recommend acupuncture highly enough!! GL this cycle sweet!
Big hugs to everyone else - I know what you've been up to as I have been LUUURKING!!! big sister is watching you all - but maybe not at 2.30am in the morning (hahaha)!!
AFM - 5 sleeps to go!! bring it on!!
-
Hi All,
Just touching base.
Jen- you made me laugh being up so early in the morning, now that's true dedication to BB.
Acria - I have also had weird cycles since I came off the pill. Only last month AF was on again, off again - very bizarre, unfortunately a BFN in the end.
Since I have been testing for Ov I have found I Ov on day 17 ! and therefore the LP is only 11 days long. As for the B6 - how much are people taking?? I have an awesome multivitamin which actually has quite high levels so dont want to take too much of one thing (50mg a day). I must have a look on the net.
AFM - I am away until Sunday (although i will have a peek tomorrow at work) at a conference so hope to see more BFP when I come back Sunday night. Must remember to pack my thermometer.
Sending :bluedust::bluedust::bluedust: to you all
-
Jen - Come onnnnnn! It's got to be thursday for you by now. You've got to update your chart! I'm praying to every conception god that exists for your temp to have stayed up today! My temp just all over the place during the day. It was actually quite low when I first went to bed last night, but I guess it's effected by the temperature of the house and what I'm wearing during the evening. And 0.04 degrees is hardly anything. It's rpetty hard to get the thermometer to read exactly the same from one minute to the next...
Oh, and don't worry, I'm all good. I was just tired after work yesterday. I got my talkativeness (is that a word?!) back today ;)
And I looooove the pink dust!!!
Smilanatu - RARARARARARARAR!!! Just getting loud again for you! Is it BD'ing time for you yet? You must be getting close to ovulation yeah?
Toccara - I hope that you get a little BFP surprise even though your worried about not bd'ing right on time. Sometimes little miracles can happen!
Mollycat - It must be almost ovulation time for you too missy! Hope your getting in lots of bd'ing!
Tina - Is that a major pre-ovulation temp dip you are having?! Good luck entering the tww!
Acria - You cycles sound really frustrating! So far my LP has been pretty stable so I can't really help you with questions about lengthening it, but I really hope you find a good solution soon.
Have you found a decaf tea?! I've been looking for one for ages and can't find one. Do you know what it's called? I'm sure it can't be as good as normal tea, but I'm willing to give it a go!
pbstar - Hi missy!!
Vanaithi - Good luck with "pushing" AF out of your uterus!! Hopefully O is not too far on the horizon for you and you can start making your little bundle!
And good luck with the chinese herbs too. Like I've said before, keep a teaspoon of honey on standby because those herbs are disgusting, lol!! Plus, honey is yummy and it's a good excuse to suck on a spoon of honey ;)
Bettyboop - Good luck with you BT results! I can't wait to hear what the numbers are :)
plc - 2 days until your bubs is in a whole new trimester!!!
Easha - I hope you conference is the fun kind, and not the boring "I-want-to-stab-myself-in-the-head" kind hehe.
Sooooo, I helped remove a stocking from the stomach and intestines of a dalmation today. The dog had been vomitting since sunday so we had to open her up and do an exploratory on her. The stocking was all gross and had bone and hair and crud stuck in it (soooooo tmi!!). Such a bad bad smell too. What a glamorous job I have!!!
Tomorrow is MY tell-tale temp day too! It should jump up tomorrow and show that I definitely ovulated on mon. So far the temps are pretty similar to what I have gotten in other cycles, so not too worried that it hasn't jumped up yet.
I keep telling DH that this is "the" cycle. Bring on a March baby!! If I am pregnant from this cycle the baby will be due on our 1st wedding anniversary :)
-
Almost forgot to write a note to allo the other "Grannies" in here! Guess what? I'm going out tomorrow night! Oops, maybe I should have told you all to sit down first... I know it's a bit of a shock ;)
DH is doing a special "guest appearance" and DJ'ing at a club in Berwick. He thinks I'm silly because I get so proud of him... but I posted a pic in my gallery because they call him the "Godfather of Funk" on their promo pass/poster. He tries to be modest, but well, everybody just loves him hehehe.
So anyway, moral of the story is that I am actually going to go out with him this time! It's my mum's bday tomorrow and my family lives on that side of the city, so we're taking mum out for dinner in Berwick and DH has asked to do an early set at the club (10-11) so we can go straight after dinner.
Anyone else on that side of town want to party it up with us? Lol!!! :D
-
Quick reply for jen...
I can't remember how I got to the pic place (last time) to save my life seems like it was very easy and i have been trying and trying find it no avail...so here's the link https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums/gallery/
Click where it says upload photos and whoop there it is...
If anyone knows the "quick" way to look at a members pics please refresh my memory! Seems like I clicked on a name and went to the photos from there *I dunno*
Krystie...you are beautiful!!! I love your husbands complextion! Yes ma'am officially started the DVD fest yesterday! Lee was late for work this morn and had the audacity to blame me for making him too weak to wake up...WOW..."O" should officially take place tomorrow but I am DVDing through the weekend...I don't want to miss the eggie!
-
Well girls, no big temp jump for me today--temp stayed about the same as yesterday! I have a feeling this means AF will be pounding her way through my door by the end of the weekend! I'm ok with it, though, it's just not my time yet. So looks like I'll be getting to use up that Preseed and get a little more practice taking temps... Wish I could just invite AF to join me earlier so I can get this show back on the road!
Acria--Good luck with the crystals, carrots and bananas! Hope AF takes it easy on you!
pbstar--Good luck with the Chinese herbalist, it helps make your cycles a little more normal!
Van--Oh, good, I knew you'd be back! Just couldn't stay away from us, huh? Praying AF packs her back quick--keep up with that pushing, and let me know if it actually helps! Definitely smelling something pungent from the bathroom, but there's nothing sweet about it!
betty--Good luck with the BT results! for some nice, high numbers for you!
plc--Aww, honey, you need all the sleep you can get while you can get it! Only 4 sleeps to go!! Bring on the second trimester!!
Easha--I've been taking 2 Vit. B6/day, so 100 mcg. Although I started a new prenatal vitamin last week that has B6 in it (my old ones didn't have any), so now I may be taking too much! Maybe I'll cut it back to just 1/day now. Hope you enjoy your conference, and don't forget to pack that thermometer, missy! Will look forward to catching up with you on Sunday!
Krystie--Ooh, you are beautiful! It's funny, you look almost exactly like you type (does that make sense?)--I just mean that you look almost exactly the way I pictured you would look! I took a pic of myself yesterday, going to try to figure out how to upload it today--would also like to try to add pics of the family, so wish me luck! Your DSS's are cute--they look a lot like their dad! I'm so glad you've got your talkativeness back! (it's a word in my vocab, so no worries, you're good!) Hope you enjoy your night out tonight, sounds like a lot of fun! I want to party with you! Tell mom I said Happy Birthday!
Thanks smilanatu! I'm going to work on that as soon as I'm done posting! It seems like I remember there used to be a link on the right side that you could just click on if a person had pics in their gallery--but I can't find that link or your pics anywhere! I'll see what I can figure out... thanks for the link!
-
Ok, I figured out how to add my pics--there's 2 of me in the gallery, and 1 of my DS Noah! (couldn't figure out how to rotate the pic, though, so it's sideways) The pic of Noah is actually from last year when he graduated from kindergarten. Will try to add a few more showing the rest of the family. So do I look anything like anyone thought--they're not the greatest of pics, but it's me! Added one more of me with the kids, tho it may be a little too far away to get a good look. I'm the second one on the left--it's kinda hard to tell because my oldest DSD is taller than me, so she looks like the parent instead of me! Thanks again for your help smilanatu!!!
Uh oh, just went to the bathroom and noticed some pink when I wiped. Looks like AF heard me asking her to come early... damn it! I guess you should be careful what you ask for!
-
jen! Glad you finally got some pics posted! You look a lot like my friend Gina...she is a hoot and I bet you are too :p
-
I'm completely hopeless! I'm still comparing charts in the chart gallery, but now I'm looking for >15DPO with spotting before +HPT! There's actually quite a few that had spotting on 15DPO, yet still ended up with a BFP on 16/17DPO. So far no more spotting, believe me I keep checking every 5 minutes! I'm really not holding out too much hope, though, just trying to pass some time and keep my mind occupied.
-
Hi there everyone,
A big congrats to those with BFPs :D
AFM, AF arrived yesterday at 13 DPO and the day before I was due for my preg BT (part of the IUI cycle). At least on the bright side, we have finally lengthened my LP from 9 days up to 12 days.
So we'll be moving on to our second IUI cycle now, here's hoping for some luck this time around. Sorry for the short post, but I'm really just feeling a bit annoyed and over it all really!!
-
hello to all, got my BT back hcg is 31 , i looked it up and it said it is good for 10 dpo.fingers crossed.
-
plc - thanks :) I'll bear the recommendation in mind!
Easha - will be interested to see what people say about the B6 and LP lengthening. Let me know how you go.
Krystie - I found a decaf Dilmah in Woolworths, and it's okay. Obviously doens't have the taste of Twining's English Breakfast, which is my usual. But when tyring to cut out caffiene, and you're deserpate for a cup of tea, well it's not so bad :) And you must be so proud of your DH, I know I would be! Sadly, I can't work out how to see the photo you put up :( Will have to keep working on it! Sounds like you'll have a great time! Oh, lol..just found the pics, and I concur with the other girls! Absolutely lovely!
Megsmum - sorry to hear AF showed up. I'm sending a bunch of positive vibes your way. Look after yourself
AFM - Well, Af still in full swing, and I ate a whole block of chocolate last night and didn't do any exercise. Oh dear. If I don't get ready for work now I'll be late, BB addiction!
Lisa xx
Jen - thanks :) Not sure how I'm going to manage to eat whole carrots..as I'm not that keen on them, but oh well! We'll see. Still got my fingers crossed for you. I know that sinking feeling wehn you see pink or red, but as you say, others have had spotting and still gotten a BFP, so hopes up!
-
Megsmum - sorry about that wretched AF. What a big difference you have made to your luteal cycle, so at least there has been an achievement of sorts, this month. Good luck with your second cycle :)
Acria - your cycle sounds very frustrating. I tried B6, though my cycle was a decent length, but I wanted it also because I had heard that it may help with conception. The first month I tried it (50MG in my Blackmore's vitamins plus 50mg extra = 100mg a day) my cycle lengthened by one day. But having read what PBStar said it might be worth consulting with a naturopath first. Really hope things improve for you!
Jen - I have posted to you on another forum but your chart is still nicely above that coverline! :crossfingers: for you, hon.
Vanaithi - sorry you have been feeling down about AF. I completely understand (I was so scared to test on Monday before my FS appointment I did not sleep at all the night before). I love your rose quartz idea. I used to carry one in my pocket when I was a young-thing for good luck. They are the loooovvvee crystal. And I know there is nothing you would love more than a lovely BFP this month. You did have a triphasic pattern, which, from my obsessive internet reading, is apparantly a very good sign for TTC in general (I wrote about this in my last post to you). I wish you all this best this month, Sweetie
Easha - have fun at your conference.
Krystielove - Your DH sounds quite the funkster. I would be proud of him, too. Your job sounds amazing. Don't know if I could stomach it. The things you have to do!! :crossfingers: for your "tell-all" temperature today.
Smilantu - thank you for being my first official BB friend
AFM - doing ok. Paranoidly analysing how I am feeling each day (ie, am I dizzier/tireder/anything-at-all-er, compared to the day before. And I am only 4.5 weeks! Will try not to drive myself (or you guys) nuts.
Have a great weekend everyone!
:pink-babydust:
-
betty, great to hear your numbers are looking good!
acria and megsmum: just remember AF is an opportunity for a fresh start...
Jen: fingers and toes still crossed for you sweets!
As for me: im heading off for our BDfull weekend! so see you on Monday, hopefully with more bFpS in here!!!!

Can I please add to the tea conversation?
I had my GP (paperwork) appointment yesterday and asked about green and white tea. I have been having one cup of Prince of Wales before breakfast (my godsend while TTC) and have been having one White Tea with mint (for TTC) and one green tea a day. He was not bothered so much about the caffeine as to where it is grown. I don't know if it because I am high risk but he told me not to drink tea grown in China because it has too many pesticides. I went through my kitchen cupboard and all my teas were imported (they don't say where from). He told me to use Australian tea (and he is Chinese!)
On a sad note, he also told me to avoid my cat completely. I know about toxoplasmosis, but thought it would be ok to pat her. He said I would have to be extremely careful and to leave that to DH :( Feeling guilty. My goregous tortie manx is 17.5 years old...
BettyBoop - I have already posted to you in the 2WW thread, but congras again :)
-
Ok, Krystie, where are you girl? What kind of stalker are you anyway? How was your temp this a.m.?
megsmum--So sorry to hear about wicked witch AF! Good news about lengthening your LP--at least there's some positive in all this. Fingers and toes are crossed you get a BFP for your 2nd IUI cycle! :bluedust:
bettyboop--Left you a quick post in the other thread, but congrats again on the BT results! :stickyvibesgirl:
Acria--Thanks :) Have you ever tried carrots in peanut butter? I know it probably doesn't sound that good, but DF has always eaten them, and it's actually really good! Just a thought...
WTH--You had me laughing about whether you're feeling "anything-at-all-er"! Sending you lots of pregnant vibes--bring on the MS, right? (Easy for me to say, right?)
tina--Ooohh, have fun on your BD-filled weekend! :bd: Tell DH to give his boys a pep talk--tell them it's a race, first one to the eggie wins! Go little :sperm: go!!!
-
Jen - Here I am!!! I only do my stalking during business hours  Just kidding. I was checking your chart all night last night! I still think your chart is looking pretty good, so I absolutely FORBID af to come! I don't like to be proven wrong you know...
I totally got what you meant about looking how I "sound". I checked out your pics but for some reason I was convinced you were going to have curly hair! Maybe it's because you remind me of a friend of mine I adore and she happens to have curly hair :cryinglaugh:
And how CUTE is Noah with his little bowl?! You did a good job cooking that little cutie!
Jen, Smilanatu & Acria - Awww shucks, you girls are too kind. I get a little depressed knowing that I will never ever look as good in a photo as I do in the wedding photos, lol. And I give 99% of the credit to my makeup artist, hairdresser and to my absolutely awwwwwsome photographer!
Smilanatu - Did you break Lee?! How cute him blaming you for being too weak this morning, you Vixen!! I hope your body is giving you all the signs of ovulation today. Good luck!!
Megsmum - I'm sorry af came, but I am so happy that you have managed to lengthen you LP! Hopefully now that you cycle is a bit more on the "normal" side of the fence your next IUI will result in you BFP!
Bettyboop - Congrats on the goog BT result! I noticed on your chart that you've done another pg test and it's positive too. I used to do that too  I just like to see the two lines.
Acria - Thank you soooo much for the info about the Dilmah tea! I spent a lifetime in the tea and coffee section reading millions of tea labels to find one that was decaf and didn't have any luck. I probably skipped right over the dilmah ones!
PS. Chocolate is my weakness!
WTH - Try not to stress to much honeybunch! Enjoy your pregnancy to the max!
And thank you for the tea info too. I'll be checking the teas for where they are made too. How funny that your Chinese GP says not to go with Chinese tea
Tina - Enjoy your weekend!!!
AFM - Grrrrrr temps!!! I don't know why my temp hasn't gone up yet. I wasn't worried until today because it usually takes my temp a few days to go up after O. I'm worried that I have ovulated late and I don't want to miss the boat! We bd'd our little hearts out and I'd hate for it to have all been done too early. We'll bd again today "just in case".
I want to wear a dress out tonight so I have to shave my legs!!!
-
WTH...aww my pleasure! You have fun analyzing...it's ok you're PG!!!
betty...wonderful news about your BT results...keep those #s climbing!
tink_k...enjoy youre BDfull weekend...I will be doing the same!
Krystie...Lee is officially BROKEN! I got some :sperm: lastnight BUT this morning the soldier refused to stand at attention (TMI I know ;) ) as for symptoms of O...does horny count...because I can't get enough! Today should be big "O" day so I have plans to visit Lee @ lunch...SURPRISE!!!
To the rest of you wonderful BB gurlies...:goodluck:
:pink-babydust::bluedust:
:stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
Have a wonderful weekend!
-
Krystie--Hey stalker chick! I relayed your message to AF, but I don't think she's listening! Temp went down a bit again this morning, and was still spotting (but barely) before bed. Have woken up to sore back, as well. I have a bulging disc in my back that pinches a nerve, giving me pain and numbness in my left butt cheek and leg down to my foot. In fact, the day after I got my last BFP I had to cancel a epidural injection. I was getting injections at least every month prior to becoming pg, but I just haven't gone back since--as they do conscious sedation, so never wanted to take the chance that I might be pg. Anyhow, my back always hurts worse when AF's around, so unfortunately it's a tell-tale sign for me. Starting to feel a little crampy, as well. I can see AF now, sitting back waiting for an opportune time to strike (I'll get you my pretty! And your little dog too!) Grrr!
 So you thought I had curly hair? It's funny how you get a mental picture of a person based on how they sound (or type in this case!). Sorry to hear your temps aren't behaving, :crossfingers: you'll have a nice temp jump this morning! Better keep up with the :bd: just in case--don't want to let that little egg sneak away! :whip: Aww, thanks about Noah--he is a cutie, isn't he--I may be a bit biased, but I think he's the cutest!
Hope you enjoyed your night out--and hope your DH enjoyed your shaved legs! Oh, BTW, due to the time difference, I really need you to stalk my chart during MY business hours! What kind of stalker sleeps on the job?
smilanatu--Sounds like Lee's the one that needs the wheelchair! I can picture you standing above him yelling in your best drill sgt. voice "C'mon Soldier--Attention!" Ooh, a surprise quickie for lunch--you are a little horn dog, aren't you? Good luck!!
mollycat--You're in my thoughts and prayers today! Hope you enjoy your family time! Forget the fish, if DH wants to fish, tell him to fish for some eggs!
-
Hi girls!!
Firstly I just wanted to say a HUGE congrats to Betty for the BFP!!! and anyone else who I missed too!!! Thats honestly the most wonderful news!!!!!! And Jen, you're included in that congrats, with all the signs I'm just gong to assume it's a BFP for you too!!!
To the rest of us I'm sending out major :bluedust: and :stickyvibesboy:
I haven't posted in a while, been a bit down and my cycle has been ca-razy, so I've kinda been laying low. That being said, I got some very out-of-the-blue info yesterday. Normally I'd take things like this with a grain of salt, but I guess in my fragile state I'm more open to any kind of hope that a BFP is just around the corner for me. My boss went and saw a clairvoyant (I know, try not too scoff too hard) last week and when she came back I said she should've asked if there was any chance of a baby for me in the future (just for giggles really). Anyway, unbeknownst to me, my boss actually called the clairvoyant and said one of her workers had a question and could she come in and meet with me and then tell my boss. The lady interrupted her and said "Yes, she will get pregnant. I see two babies around her. She just needs to accept her loss". This is without the boss mentioning any of my back story or even the question I had. CRAZY!!
Like I said, it's probably just me looking for hope, but it has re-energised me (the DH) BIG time!! So as of this month we're charting, and BDing like mad!! AF finished today, so here's hoping!!
FINGERS CROSSED!!!!!
-
tutmae--Welcome back, it's been a looooong time! No scoffing from me, I think that's a true sign of what's to come! I'm :crossfingers: toes, arms, legs, and eyes for you! :goodluck2:
-
tutmae...welcome back!!! No scoffing from me either...as a matter of fact one of the wonderful BB ladies had baby news in her horoscope last month AND wah la...she's PG! Take any sign you can get! :goodluck2: on a :bfp:
-
Thanks guys!!!! All the positivity here is so helpful too!! And too think I hadn' come by in so long! Geez! I've learnt my lesson!! :P
-
tutmae--We're just happy you're back! Sometimes people just need a break, we all understand! Big
-
UPDATE...lunch was YUMMY!!!
-
smi--you ARE a horn dog aren't you???
-
Welcome back tutmae - no scoffing from me either - that sounds very encouraging and I wish you all the best for a BFP in the near future.
Hey everyone - big big hugs!!
-
It's official, I'm out for this month! Bring on cycle 5...
-
-
-
Hi Jen - sorry about AF turning up like that - it looked so promising for you. On to cycle 5, and you get to use the rest of that preseed LOL, I know you really wanted to.
Tutmae - you just never know what's around the corner, hopefully your BFP is just around the corner, (I wonder if it it's two babies at once or one after the other)
Smilanatu - glad you enjoyed lunch
Betty - there great numbers for you, keep on climbing numbers, stick hard little one.
AFM - Thanks Jen - glad to know I have your thoughts today, as for DH he can go and catch fish (need to give him a little rest sometime) we'll see how he goes at catching the egg in a few weeks (LOL), getting good O indications so hopefully the tamoxifen is at work and we'll get good results, at least this cycle is behaving itself so far. The boys will enjoy the fishing as well, I just think it's important to be together as a family today.
I'd better get off here now and get organised to go out, I need to go and take all the baby car seats (from day care) out of my car - it's the family one, DH has a ute, so we'll all fit.
-
Oh no, Jen. Whatta Bloomin' Big Bummer! Now you are the charting queen Cycle 5 is DEFINITELY going to be your time!
-
:(Oh no, Jen. Whatta Bloomin' Big Bummer! Now you are the charting queen Cycle 5 is DEFINITELY going to be your time!
-
I'm baaaaack...
Finally the kids are out of school and I can call my life my own again!
Betty, I'm so, so happy for you.
To anybody else I've missed, I'm sorry, but hopefully I'll be able to be a better poster/reader from now on.
My story--not preggers yet, and now my fs want's to put me on $700 per month stimming meds. I think the man's out of his cotton-pickin' mind. I'm having trouble finding a crunchier doctor. I'll let you know how it goes.
-
Smilanatu - Did Lee enjoy his "lunch"? OMG just read your update that "lunch was yummy"!! You crack me up!!!
Jen - No no no no no! Your chart looked so perfect :( The good thing to come out of charting this cycle was that you can now see that your body is doing everything it should be. It's comforting to know you can trust your body. Unlike my stupid non-temp increasing body at the moment, lol. I hope af is nice and quick for you
Your back problem sounds so ouchie :( I get some neck pain that I see a chiro for (from the side my neck is straight instead of curved oops) but never as bad as what your back sounds!
Ummmm, I just remembered something else I wanted to tell you... but it's taken leave of my brain so I'll have to think on it and tell you later, lol.
Tutmae - That's crazy about the clairvoyant saying that without anyone talling her anything about you. I'm a fence-sitter when it comes to whether I believe in that stuff or not, but I'm all for taking positives out of everyday life and that my dear, is a huge positive!!
plc - 12 weeks!!! I'm soooooooo so happy for you and your "much-loved little one"
Mollycat - I'm so glad that your cycle is being well behaved! When DH and I went away for the weekend recently we wanted to go fishing, but we couldn't find anywhere to hire fishing gear, grrrr. We did some deep-sea fishing when we were in Fiji and it was so fun. I never thought sitting in a boat doing absolutely nothing for 99% of the time could be fun, but it was super relaxing. Plus I caught more fish and bigger fish than DH, so it added to the fun factor for me hehehe.
tempus moriendi - Nice to "meet" you :) $700 per month is pretty steep, but if it gets you your bubba... You're looking for a "crunchier" doctor? Do you bite their arm to see if it's crunchy? ;)
AFM - I'm floating in the unknown. I'm getting extremely frustrated that I don't know what's going on in my body at the moment. I was sure I was going to ovulate last sunday night/monday morning because I had some ovulation pain and it was right on time, but then no temp increase. And then on thursday I had more of what felt like ovulation pain, so we bd'd again last night just in case, but still no temp increase. I'm all for bd'ing every couple of nights just in case ovulation is being tardy, but I think I'm breaking DH!
But in good news, I had a great time last night. Mum enjoyed her birthday dinner, but I couldn't convince her to come to the night club with us. My brother and his girlfriend came with us though so that was good. DH had to start dj'ing as soon as we got there, so I had a bit of a boogie. Then just before my bro and his gf left my sister-in-law and my niece-in-law arrived. I spent the rest of the night flutttering between the girls and dancing in the dj booth with DH. Good thing I got all dolled up and wore a dress because my ex-boyfriend was there! There's nothing wrong with a little "look what you lost" is there?!
Oh and DH played an awesome set and they want still want him to come back on rotation there, but it's sooooooooo far to drive! Who opens a club in Berwick? Hehehehe.

Jen - Oh I remember now!! I was going to tell you about a conversation I had with mum last night. Here's how it went:
Me: "Mum, Jen wanted me to wish you a happy birthday from her."
Mum: "Oh that's so sweet, tell her "hello and thank you" for me"
Me: "I will"
Mum turns to dad and I hear her ask "Who's Jen?"
Dad shrugs...
