Lisa - Thinking of you today. Hope you caught that
Theresa - Thats good news that you don't need steroid treatment. I can't imagine how difficult today is for you, but I'm sending you a big cyberhug since it can't be a real life one. Hope this is the month for you
smi & issy - Glad you're IYKWIM
jen - Well, my boss is a doctor, so I guess understanding comes with the territory. But he is a renal specialist and has shown more compassion than one of the (female) OBs I work with.
Caleb's mum - to TTCAML. I'm so sorry for your loss, and that you were told in such a heartless way. May your stay here be short. But in the meantime, the fabulous ladies here will support you through it.
maternalbride - So sorry AF showed.
erybery - Yay for being proactive. I hope the pill works for you.
plc - Thanks for looking out for us. Wow! Only 3 days to go now.
I started dreading Christmas almost from the day I found out my baby had died. Now that its almost here I can say its as difficult as I thought it would be. I would be 31 weeks by now and have a nice big round belly to compete with Santa's. But, I'm trying not to focus on what would've been. For whatever reason, thats not what is. I just remind myself that this Christmas could still very well be the last that DH and I have with just the two of us. And that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Merry Christmas everyone. I that we can all find some hope and happiness this Christmas. May all of our dreams come true in 2009.
plc - sweetheart - all the very best for Saturday i am sending you strength and love.
To all the ladies in here I want to thank you for the support and kindness you all have shown through an extremely difficult time.
I wish you all the very best for 2009 and know that the courage and strength we have found through our shared hardship and the beautiful abundance of love on this site has had a positive impact on others.
Just dropping by to wish all you lovely ladies a very happy Xmas and New Year as we have a busy few days ahead of us now so won't get to post for a bit. And also a big big thank you to you all for all the support and kind words over the year
To all the ladies struggling with Xmas this year.... and please, take care of yourself. There will be many more Xmases ahead where you will feel more like celebrating, if you feel like being low key this year will help then go with the flow I say.
I hope that 2009 will be a wonderful year for all of us and hope to see lots of BFPs and new bubbas being welcomed into the world.
xxxooo everyone!
PS. I had my 1st ob visit yesterday and all is looking good, bubby has a little hb and is measuring 7w5d which again is spot on for dates. So still feeling only cautiously optimistic as we lost our last little one between 8 and 12 weeks after seeing a hb - the next 4 - 5 weeks will be the important ones to get through for us I have another ob appt in 2 weeks for another "reassurance" u/s, hoping everything goes well.
PPS. I should also say, plc all the best for the upcoming birth of your bub - good luck and I'll bet you can't wait! hun

Hi everyone..i havent posted in here for a while, but wanted to stop in and wish you all a merry christmas!! and thank you for your support to me during what has been a hard year. You are a supportive bunch.
I would also like to let you know I have just found out we have a natural christmas miracle...I am pregnant! While waiting to start IVF, we thought we would try naturally, and we were halfhearted about it to be honest, expecting nothing (having been told chances of natural conception were very very slim), so this has shocked and delighted us.... although I am scared it will be ectopic again, or that it won't stay for the long haul...but I really pray this is to be our baby...i am only just 14dpo now so early days
Hi ladies!
Taking off my lurker hat to wish you all a wonderful Christmas! I hope you all have a wonderful wonderful festive time- you all deserve it!! Plus I hope it's full of too much food- that's always a bonus!!
Possums: CONGRATULATIONS hon! what a fantastic chrissy present! I'll be keeping my for you hon!
Jen: :hugs: to you darlin! Sorry I've been such a dirty lurker! Am up to my eyeballs with work and baking at the moment (only remembered the other day that I'd said I'd do Christmas dessert for lunch, then ma asked me to do it for dinner too.... lucky I'm in a baking mood!). Hope everything is fantastic with you, hon!
Just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS
Possums - Congratulations on your special little Christmas gift.
Smi - hope for you that the doesn't last too long or be too hard on you.
Megsmum - Glad to hear that everything looks good for you.
PLC - Three days and counting - chat with you again shortly. Can't wait to hear your announcement.
KL - for you.
To each and everyone else - Please don't feel I'm ignoring you, I will catch up with you all eventually. But in the meantime. For those healing - you couldn't wish for a nicer bunch of friends then the ones you've found in here. For my TTC friends and for those who have found their little miracles
to everyone else on thread - wishing you all a peaceful day tomorrow and fingers crossed for lots and lots of BFPs in the new year.
AFM: Well me very confused. Had a frostie transfer about 10 days ago and had pregnancy test today. They said it was negative - but I do have some pregnancy hormone present - hcg is 21 and progesterone level 96 - so very very slim chance still of a miracle but because lab is closing I cannot have another blood test till monday. She said is is most likely that hcg will fall and I am not pregnant. Apparently hcg level will need to drop to 0 and progesterone of < 5 before I can start my next stimulated cycle. So basically am very confused. Has any else had such low hcg levels and ended up being pregnant? So another five days waiting - it is soooo hard !
I'm popping in too! Just wanted to wish everybody a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful, safe and happy 2009! Love and hugs to all, especially those who are finding it tough this year...
I've brought a humungous christmas custardy trifle (YUM!) - I'll leave it here, and you can all help yourself (I know, I am such a dag!)
Possums ..... yayayayayay!!! What a wonderful chrissy present - wishing you a h&h pg.
Love, hugs, positive vibes, as well as oodles of and for all
xx
P.S. I and bean are doing well - I've felt the pg crankiness ramp up this week - poor dh has really suffered from me being a deranged hormonal crazy pg lady! Don't tell him I even sounded remotely sympathetic ... I'm trying hard to be very miffed about.... something ... or other!
Possums- CONGRATULATIONS! What wonderful news for Christmas! I will for you and your little one.
I will be testing tomorrow morning. I am soooooooooo nervous. I'm not sure if I can take the sight of a BFN. Please keep your fingers crossed for me
Hopefully I can find some time tomorrow to write personals and let you all know if there is any news here on my side. I love you ladies. Hope you are all in good spirits during the holiday
I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and to thank you all for your continued support and all the wonderful belly rubs you give to my little baby.
We received the best christmas gift today when we had our anatomy scan and were told that everything is looking perfect. I'm sure you'll all be very proud to know that bubs behaved very well and they got all the measurements easily (even though we were secretly hoping bubs would play up so we'd get to watch it play for a bit longer, lol).
Congratulations Possums! I am so thrilled for you!
Babymiracles - With you only having the transfer 10 days ago I would have thought that a hcg level of 21 might be normal if you were pregnant. It's pretty early days still, so fingers crossed that when the lab re-opens you will have a wonderful christmas surprise!
Firstly, merry xmas to all the lovely ladies here, hope your dreams will come true in 2009!
Secondly, congratulations to Possums, this would be the best present ever!
Lastly, something about myself - I got all my results back, I am luckly to have a really nice doctor who let me do the tests just after two miscarriages. Everything is normal the only thing that's a bit high is the prolactin levels, it's over 500 (below 600). But the doctor said it doesn't have a major effect on miscarriges. Does anyone know anything about it? Many thanks in advance!
I have refrained form posting here as I always post depressive posts... and I don't want to burden all you girls who have been so wonderful to me.... and of course I don't want to ruin no ones Christmas Spirit!
I just thought I might update you all on how things have gone...
First of all..
Smi , Issy & Possums: CONGRATULATIONS!!!! My very Best wishes going your way!
Mannie & Tocarra:.. my ♥ goes out to you both!! I'm very sorry that like me.. your worst nightmare came true again.
Jen: Thank you... for remembering me even if I have not been here for almost 2 months.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and New Years. We have been hanging in there... My husband has still not found a job but we are getting unemployment help and it has been a blessing. I started babysitting to make some $$ of my own and for now I only have one 10 mo old baby girl..who is such a doll. SO am blessed to be at least making some $$ doing something I like to do. (caring for babies)
My son turned 4 on 12-16 and even if we didn't have much I managed to get him a cake and some clothes.. my husband got him one of those Vtech educational toys and he loved it!
So yaayy on little Erick turning 4.. I can't believe time has flown by so fast... and in a way...it makes me hurt even MORE inside that I still have not brought him a sibling to play.
Well ..since my 3rd loss on 9/11 and my D&C on AF has NOT ...nope... shown up.
PCOS has a good grip on me again and I don't know why on earth I still dream of a baby when I know it won't happen.. I think my cousin was right when she called me an infertile fool!!!
soo... I don't know why on earth I decided to POAS today in the AM and I don't know why on earth I would ever think "this time maybe a miracle will happen"..cuz I got the blankest ..whitest BFN ever. Reminding me... I'm a FOOL!!!
..I'm resumed to be happy that 2008 is almost gone.. gone with the very most thing I ever wanted.. my baby.. here is to 2009..which like in 2007 I was making plans for a baby in 2008.. having only 2 periods on 2007.. and a mere 4 in 2008... will I ever make it through my approaching Due Date April 2nd???
I dread that day so much.. but I know I will survive.. the same way I have survived 3 miscarriages.. but.. I can say... I was a very colorful person.. Now I have faded to an old grey.. like ashes.... I'm literally pushing myself to be "Merry" and just accept my truth. I walk through each day just hoping time goes by fast ....and me.. like another flower on a wallpaper...
....
I know.. I know.. and I'm so very sorry my posts are not "happy" ones since Sept..
but all in all..
I wish all of you the very best... I hope all of you have many blessings and more to come.
Away with 2008 and on to 2009.
May 2009 bring all of us something to be grateful and happy about.
I'm super busy with holiday preparations, but had to take the time to wish all my Aussie friends a very blessed and Merry Christmas, and a happy, healthy New Year!!
Wishing my UK/US friends a Merry Christmas Eve!!!
Just wanted to thank you all for your support, strength, and unconditional love and friendship that you've all shown me since I joined this thread in March. There's no way that I ever could've made it through the last 9 months without you all!
My friday night girls--Truly love each and every one of you! You're all amazing friends, and if I could go back and alter the past.... I wouldn't change a thing, because then I wouldn't have been given the gift of your friendship. 2008 was a bittersweet, beautiful letdown.... the prelude of the blessings that are sure to come in 2009! *kiss* and a HUGE
