Thanks, plc, for sharing the news of AJC's birth!! You're right--I would definitely prefer to know--AJC is a huge supporter of not only this thread, but ME since March! I'm over the moon for her! It sure was tricky finding the birth announcement, tho!
Congrats again, AJC, on the birth of your beautiful son, Samuel!! :bluecheer:
Will be back later for the rest of persies!
-
Wow...I have searched and searched...how on earth do you get to the announcement?
-
Nevermind...found it...

Hi All
Just thought I'd pop in and say :hello:
:welcome: to all the newbies. I'm so sorry that you've had to join in this thread, but it's a great place to be. You'll find so much support in here. The girls have great big shoulders to lean on and an endless supply of tissues for those UGLY cries that we all have had.
To all of my pg friends :bellyrubs: and :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy: (Smi - hope that ms doesn't treat you too bad when it turns up - or you could be really lucky and get none)
To everyone TTC - I hope that your journey is short and your dreams and prayers come true :pink-babydust::bluedust:. Here's some :noaf: vibes for all of you.
I'm still lurking and it's good to see some good news coming through this thread with a few BFP's this month and some special little bubs making their way into the world. Congratulations AJC on the birth of Samuel. PLC - won't be long now and it's your turn.
Anyway, I'd better get started on cleaning the bathroom YUK before I start work for the day.
-
MaternalBride: IKWYM--I've found myself suddenly surrounded by pregnant ladies after a miscarriage, and no, it's not fun. Not at all. Sending cyberhug
jen805: Yeah, I'm hanging in there. The bleeding started in earnest today, and I'm having cramps, but it's good to come on this site and talk to people who can relate to what I'm going through.
megsmum: thanks. sending extra :stickyvibesgirl: and
plc1805: how wonderful for AJC!
HannahD: I hope things work out with you and your cousin. Maybe she needs to "grow up" a little bit.
And actually, charting might help you feel more centered--if you're measuring your temps, then you know when you ovulated without guesswork. Just a thought.
TY: so glad you had good news for once--you really needed it!
Mel1979: glad your tests came back okay. :crossfingers:
Zachary's Mom: Nothing is wrong with you--you're grieving and worried and that's all perfectly normal. Be very kind to yourself. Sending cyberhug.
mollycat: good to hear from you!

Trying to conceive
I decided to join this forum because I feel like I can not talk to anyone about this. I am 34 years old. Other than my husband, no one knows I miscarried (not family, not friends). I'm ashamed. I got pregnant around Oct 4, 2008 (conceived on first try) and had a miscarriage. I was about 5 1/2 weeks. It was a natural miscarriage (no D&C). I already had a period after the miscarriage, so my husband and I decided to ttc again right away. I ovulated around 12/5/08. We had sex on 12/3 (lh surge detected by clearblue), 12/4, 12/5 and 12/7. On 12/15 my breast strarted feeling alot fuller (haven't felt like this since I was 15) and my nipples got really sore. However, the sore nipples only lasted a couple of days. Now my breasts are still full, but no sore nipples. I was really hoping I conceived. My period is due on 12/22 and I took pregnancy test, but negative. I know it may still be too early to tell if pregnant, but since the soreness stopped and my breast haven't gotten bigger (which was the case during the last pregancy) I'm assuming I'm not preg. Does anyone know why my breast would feel so full if I am not pregnant? How long does it take to conceive after a miscarriage?
-
Emmanue, I am sorry for your loss but you've come to the right place, I found a lot of support here.
In regards to the soreness of your breasts, I think it's completely normal to get that before your period is due, I always do. However, I really hope that you are pregnant now as breast soreness is also a sign of pregnancy, just wait few more days to do another test and let us know the results.
Good luck!
-
Emmanue - Im very sorry to hear of your loss and you have definately come to the right place for support. Everyone in here understands what you are going through and the rollercoaster emotions of ttc, and thats what we are here for, to support to eachother and guide eachother through when we cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel...and truth be told, sometimes that tunnel can be long and tiring, but we all have faith and hope that a light is there, somewhere in the distance  As for your question about how long it takes to conceive again after m/c, that question is very hard to answer. Some women are able to conceive straight after a m/c and go on to have healthy and happy babies....others have to wait much longer for their bodies to recover. Each time I have had a chem pg (very early loss) it has taken me nearly 6 months to conceive again. My last chem pg was in June this year and now I am finally pg again, but this one is not a chem pg....thankgod. We are all very different and unfortunately we just cannot predict how long it will be for our bodies to recover. I  that you did just test too early and that you are infact pg. GL on you ttc journey and welcome to our wonderful thread.
Tempus - I completely understand how you feel about being surrounded by pg women. For many years I have seen so many women around me fall pg and I couldnt help but fee very jealous and even resentful towards them. I dont think it was because I was a mean person and I certainly never let them know that was how I felt, but inside I was so upset....I kept thinking...WHY NOT ME? Its very hard, I completely understand.
Smi - So glad to see your ticker moving along nicely. How lovely for you. And dont panic about the symptoms, you may be just one of the lucky ones who doesnt have any at all...im sure there would be many jealous women out there who wish they too did not have any..especially morning sickness. I am one of those people who do not suffer from many symptoms, apart from sore breasts...I have never had morning sickness and so far with this one, none to report. Dont worry too much hun...sometimes symptoms come a little later....maybe they are stil on their way!
I finally found AJC's birth announcement last night and even though I wrote on the thread, I just wanted to write in here as well....CONGRATULATIONS AJC ON THE EARLY ARRIVAL OF SAMUEL....im sure he is just lovely and we cannot wait to see pictures of him. He is also a great weight for 5 1/2 weeks early...you grow them big AJC! My DS was that size at term! Good on you darling...:confetti::confetti::confetti:
Sorry ladies, I wanted to write more persies but DS wants breakfast so ill bbl for more. Just wanted to say I have reached a very small milestone...I have reached 6 weeks which I never have since DS....im still praying everyday though...
Issy

I know that this isn't exactly AJC's birth announcement thread, but it just feels right to congratulate her in here! :D Sooo....
Huge congratulations to you AJC on the birth of your wonderful son Samuel!!!
To everyone else, keep your chins up during this festive season. I know that sometimes it can be hard, but you are all wonderful, strong woman, and each and every one of you deserve to have a great time this christmas. Take care all!
And finally, my beautiful PLC! The days are speeding closer and closer and I imagine that your getting more and more excited (and nervous!). I'm am so happy for you and can't wait for you to hold your baby girl in your arms. And once your settled back in and back on your feet again, we'll have to catch up so I can practice holding a baby ;) Much love to you sweetness!!!
-
First of all, congratulations of AJC on the birth of her baby boy Samuel.
TY - Yay for AF arriving and still allowing you to enjoy your holiday. Your DH and boss seem very supportive. Enjoy the trip to Hong Kong!
Mel - Thanks for the advice, as confusing as it was . But I understood. You pretty much summed up what was concerning me though. I don't think I will start temping just yet. I feel calmer this month. I think I just really, really wanted to be pregnant by Christmas and now thats not an issue, I can relax a little more. Glad the test results all came back OK - at least thats a list of things ruled out.
Theresa - Nothing is wrong with you. If its any consolation, I'm grumpy a lot of the time too (my poor DH). Hmm, on second thoughts maybe thats not much of a consolation at all. Will stop trying to help now and just offer you a big . Just remember you always have us when you feel the need to let it all out.
smi, mollycat & jen - :hello:
tempus - Thinking of you
emmanue - I'm sorry for your loss. You've come to the right place for support. I can't really answer your questions. Sore nipples can occur before AF or as a symptom of pregnancy. It may well have been too early to test. I am concerned that you said you feel ashamed of your previous m/c. I can understand not wanting to tell people. Some people say the stupidest things, but sometimes people surprise you and you find support in the most unlikely places. It is difficult to tell people you were pregnant and are no longer. But that is nothing to be ashamed, guilty or embarrassed about. Please take care of yourself
issy - Congrats on reaching the first milestone. for another 34 weeks.
Hi and *hugs* to everyone else
:bluedust::stickyvibesgirl:
-
CONGRATULATIONS TO AJC ON THE BIRTH OF YOUR :stork-boy: SAMUEL Couldn't happen to a sweeter gal :happyforyou:
Issy - congratulations to you to on your significant milestone.
PLC, Jenushka, Tutmae and KrystieLove - thanks for sticking around an supporting the girls here. We need you lovelies ;)
Smi - :stickyvibesgirl: You're going great!
Jen - Furious to read about that stupid cow you met at that party. So undeserving. Just as bad as those selfish parents who smoke in their cars with children. That sort of stuff really gets my goat up!!
TY - Hong Kong? You lucky girl. Gonna shop 'til you drop?
Mollycat, Mel, HannahD -:hello:
Indy, Tempus, Theresa, Erybery, Maternal Bride -
Megsmum - Hello my friend. Congratulations on the MS - I know you want it! Now go and give your tummy a rub for Aunty WTH x
Emmanue - sorry for your loss. I know that in a few non-pregnant months this year I have experienced stronger PMS symptoms than I used to, ie: sorer breasts, headaches, tiredness and even mild nausea. I think the PG may mess a little with our hormones, or perhaps make us more in tune than we used to be. Hopefully you will be PG, though! You can conceive as soon as you ovulate after a MC, which for some ladies can be two weeks after.
AFM - AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH! These OPKs are driving me bonkers! Been having a 60% nearly there line for days and days! this is not an annovulatory cycle. Am temping. Coverline may appear Sunday saying it happened on Wednesday, but the line has not got any darker or lighter. BD marathon has become a big bloomin' unromantic chore. Gonna take the night off tonight!
OK. Rant done. Back to you all...
Have a great weekend everyone. Spreading a truckload of :bluedust: over this very special thread.
-
AJC Congratulations on the birth of your son Samuel!!!!
:clap::dance::loveshower::leap::hooray::bluecheer: :itsaboy:

Happy Friday Gurlies!
Issy...I look at your ticker and smile...KEEP IT MOVING! :D Congrats on reaching 6 weeks!
HannahD...*wavin* Hey Gurlie!
emmanue...So sorry for your loss...may you find the support you need with this gret group of ladies!
WTH...
fifi...you're moving right along!
mollycat...tempus...tut...Krystie...jen...megsmum. ..MO3B...and Angel (man I miss you!) :hello:

Megsmum--Oh you poor thing, how freaked out you must've been! *hugs* I'm SO relieved your scan went well, and you were able to get a sneak peek at your little sticky bub! Best of luck with your OB appt. on Tue. Sending buckets full of :stickyvibesgirl:
HannahD--I have to agree with your DH about trying temping/charting. Here on our thread there's no such thing as being obsessed or addicted--we like to call it dedicated! ;) I've found that using FF has helped me figure out what's going on with my body and when--it's very helpful! Good luck with whatever you decide to do! Big *hugs*
TY--Glad to hear AF won't be ruining your Christmas plans! Enjoy your trip to Hong Kong--I'm jealous! :) Be safe!
Mel--Yay for negative Lupus results!! You must feel so relieved!
Theresa--There's nothing wrong with you, hon.... your body's probably just very confused, and doesn't know what to think. *hugs* I've found that since my m/c I'm much more irritable and snappy... of course, mine was back in March... so maybe I'm just a grumpy, irritable person as it is!
smi--Hey girl! I also had to search and search for AJC's birth announcement! I felt kinda bad to spill the beans here on the thread, but after the trouble it took to find it, I thought it would just be better to let everyone know about baby Samuel instead of making them search for it! How's that  coming along?
mollycat--Ooh, looks like we both scored points for cleaning the bathroom yesterday! Yuk, but yay us! Oh, and btw, the pics you sent me of your shed remind me so much of the way my garage looks! lol... at least we have a barely-there path to walk thru, but it's pretty dangerous! So sorry I slept thru Friday chat! Oh, and I got your Christmas card yesterday... thanks! *kiss* Love ya!
tempus--Sending you a thousand
Emmanue--:welcome: I'm so very sorry for your loss... please know that you have nothing to be ashamed of! There's nothing you did wrong, or could've done different... you should be surrounding yourself with support thru this time! I'm glad that you've found us, please feel free to unleash here... we all know what you're going thru! I know in my case it took quite a while (about 6 wks) for the hcg hormone to return back to normal... it's terribly confusing when you know that you've m/c, but your body doesn't, so it continues to feel and act like it's pg! Saying lots of prayers for a quick TTC journey for you! We're all here to cheer you up, and cheer you on! *hugs*
-
issy--Yay for milestones!! :hooray: Sending lots of :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy: your way!!
Krystie--Hey sweet! :bellyrubs: for little Chyan!! Miss you lots, and think of you all the time! Love ya! *kiss*
WTH--D@mn OPK's!!! Sorry you're having a rough go at it! Keep your chin up!
fifi--Sorry to have slept thru chat! *hugs*, :bellyrubs: and :stickyvibesgirl: Hope you enjoy your weekend!
smi--It's FRIDAY!!!! Woo freakin' hoo!!!! *dancing a jig*
Me--AF has left the building!! :hooray: Looks like I'll be O'ing on Christmas day! Got everything crossed for a New Year BFP!
Ok, girls... that's it from me for now. Have to get DS ready for school. Have a great day! Grouphug for all!!
-
Its ok Jen - its not like i'm sat here, waiting :hiding: for you to turn up!! :o
only joking - i'm online anyway as at work!! :computer:
hope everyone is ok !!!
:grouphug:

Venting ...
***Warning this is going to a me post!!!***
I been going none stop snice I M/C'ed and today I got snowed in and couldn't keep myself busy and that gave me time to think about what happen and now I'm super sad!!! I'm sitting here like if I hadn't have lost my first baby I would be 7 months the second 4 months the last one about 7 weeks I'm so confused right now because apart of me wants to start trying to have another baby right now the other half is saying what's the point you will just lose the baby again ... my friend of six years is 4 months pg both my mangers at work are pg and about 5 or 6 girls I work with are pg as well and they keep saying girl you will pg next just watch ... all I want is for me and DH to have just one baby to love and it seems as if its never going to happen I have been hiding my feelings from everybody about how upset I am really I been hiding from myself too because I won't let myself cry I just been trying to stay as busy as I can I didn't take any time off work I'm even going work to christmas and new years I didn't put any christmas stuff I'm just not in the mood ... I keep telling myself 2009 will be better and its a fresh start but I will never forget the pain I'm feeling right now ...
-
Tocarra :comfort: So sorry you are feeling down. I feel like you about being surrounded by PG women. Seems a bit like that Kylie Minogue filmclip, where she goes shopping with dozens of other Kylies. Only when I go shopping (or anywhere) it is PG women! It is fine to be all ba humbug. Don't apologise. It is a difficult time of year for so many women.
I noticed by your sig that you are losing your little ones around the same time, so it may be for the same reason? I am a bit behind on everything that has happened in the past couple of months on this thread (so sorry if you have already written about this), but have you thought of seeing a FS about why you might be losing them at this point? Eg, do you have a luteal phase problem that might be affecting implantation, etc.
I really want things to work out for you
WTH x
-
Jen805 and HannahD - thanks for making me smile! In fact I even had a little chuckle!
Emmanue - welcome. I know you will find great support here - I certainly have abd these ladies are wonderful!
Not much to report on my side of things. I am still trying to adjust to the fact that we are not pg and that my Christmas wish has not come true. DP has been wonderful but I know he is deeply disappointed. Luckily for me he has been by my side through it all - even with all my tantrums and crying epics!
Take care everyone - I hope you all get what you want in 2009.
-
Toccara50 - lotsa hugs for you. I work in a shopping centre so I see babies and pg women every day! It is so painful and I hate it. Everyone keeps telling me I will have another baby and everythong will be fine and I will move on - HELLO - no I won't! I will never get over losing my son. I am fraking out that I won't fall pg and I am struggling to work out these OPK's and work out what is what - I am angry with myself for not getting it right! I hope everything works out for you and that you get your baby to love - you deserve to be happy :)
Tempus - :comfort: Back to you xxxxx
-
Toccarra - I am so sorry you are feeling so down. IIKWYM. I have been down this week too and it is at the times when I am not busy. But I think we definitely need to have that down time to grieve and get our emotions out. If you suppress them for too long I think it just makes you feel worse and out of control, or at least thats how I feel. You also never forget how far along you would have been. I would have been due this week with my first angel and 16 weeks with my second angel and it is totally natural to always think what if. You need to make sure you take care of you and if that means having a day where you want to cry, scream, yell, vent or just reflect then do it for you because your emotions make you who you are.
When I told a close friend the other day about my m/c she gave me the best answer anyone had so far. She said she was so sorry and the next sentence was "DON"T GIVE UP!!" Not at least...... it was don't give up and none ofus should
Take care
-
Emmanue - So sorry for your loss. You have nothing to feel ashamed about and we all know what you are going through. You have a great bunch of ladies in here who will help you through and understand your feelings and emotions. But don't feel ashamed, you did nothing wrong and I hope that you have a speedy road to conceiving again if that's what you want. :comfort:
AFM: Sorry I have been so slack posting but I have been lurking and have had a big long post written and then my computer has dropped out.:wall: We are on the TTC bandwagon again this month, I am CD17 but not sure if I have O yet. I think I have but have been temping again and it is a bit different to b4 the m/c. It rose on CD15 but then has dropped the last two days, whereas it normally stays around the high level for the rest of the cycle. So not sure if O has even occurred. Damn, I am confused
Emotions have gone from really positive at the start of the week to really down on Thursday. I just want some GL this cycle.
DH has been wonderful as usual but this week I have seen his side to dealing with it and it has effected him a lot more than I realised. The pressure we have put on ourselves already is not good, but just can't seem to help it.:wall:
To the girls that have just conceived I hope you are all doing well:pray::)
To all of you who are where I am at the moment, I am so hearing you and so praying that a few of us get a New Years present to remember.
Take care will try and keep posting more often :D
-
Tocarra honey, I'm actually glad that you got snowed in and had to take some time to reflect and think about what has happened, because I think that in the long run it is a healthy thing. I know we all grieve differently, but it sounds like you didn't really get time to grieve and that the pain and sadness has been building up inside. Although the sadness will never go away, try to think about the special (but unfortunately short) time that you had with each of your amazing babies.
If you haven't already, I think WTH's idea of seeking the help of a FS might be a good idea. There might be some tests that they can do to determine how to help you carry a baby to term.
Always remember that there are people thinking about you, and always take care of yourself sweetness.
-
Thanks for all your words kind words girls I have not been to see a FS yet but I do think maybe my Letal Phase is to short because I have two cycle's a month but I could be wrong ... I have to wait aleast 2 cycles before I try again so please pray that the next time I fall pg its my forever baby ... and I have always been bad at taking time for myself ...
-
WTH - Sorry the OPKs are not being friendly this month.
jen - Thanks for the advice about FF. I'll think I'll just keep doing what I'm doing for the time being. you get your New Year BFP.
Tocarra - I'm so sorry you're having a hard time. :comfort: I don't know what else to say, but rant away if you need. Its important to take time to let those emotions out. We're all here for you. Take care of yourself hun.
Polly - Sending you lots of :pink-babydust: for this cycle.
Mel - How are you doing honey?
:bellyrubs: to all those growing little ones. May they continue grow to be strong and healthy.
To all those in the TWW :noaf:
To all those TTC :goodluck: :bluedust:
-
Just dropping by quickly to say congrats to AJC on the birth of Samuel :bluecheer: Hope you are all able to go home soon!
Also Toccara  I'm so sorry you are having a rough time hun, it is hard with Xmas approaching and everybody expecting you to be all merry and what not :( Just do whatever you need to get through it though - and take care of yourself. I'll just second the advice to see an FS too, I'm very glad that I did.
Big :hello: to everyone else!
-
Hello everyone. This is just a quick message to say hi :) Some of you I recognise from previous months when I have been active on these boards, and some are new names to me. To the new ones, I am so sorry for your losses, and that you've had to come here. Losing a child is heartbreaking and it is hard, and continues to be hard, but in my experience it become part of you, and easier to live with, but the pain doesn't end, you don't 'get over it'. I don't mean to be negative, just to say that I know how you feel, and the BB girls are the absolute best at offering support.
DH and I have just decided to start TTC again..and today happened to be day 14 of my cycle. Two BD's (one in the morning and one in the evening), so wish me luck. Though in truth..it doesn't seem to be the falling pregnant that's the problem, it's the staying pregnant! I've read a bit about how progesterone can help, and if I do fall pg, I'll certainly ask about it with the Dr. In the meantime, does anyone know of any supplements one can take to lengthen the luteal phase, as at 26 days, I'm worried my cycle is too short. It goes without saying, but obviously, a safe for pregnancy supplement is vital, in case we are lucky :)
I'll post more personals as I get reacquainted. Warm thoughts and a happy Yuletide to all!
Lisa xx

Hello ladies - just a little bit quiet in here so just wanted to fill the thread with love and positivity and to inspire hope. I just can't wish it enough.
:goodluck::crossfingers::hug:
-
Hey fi! Here's some :bellyrubs: for that blooming belly of yours! *kiss*
Toccara--Oh, hon, I so know what you mean about keeping busy... like you have to keep your body busy to keep your mind occupied... I think I've been doing that since March! Truly, tho, it's much more healthy to allow those feelings of grief and remorse, otherwise you'll end up feeling like a time bomb waiting to explode! I only know this from learning it myself the hard way! Your DH is still home with you until after Christmas, right? I hope you're able to talk about your feelings with him--I know for my DF it's easier for him to just never talk about the m/c... he just can't fix it, so he doesn't know what to say or how to act about it... just the other day I mentioned that our baby would be 3 months this Christmas... and I got an "I'm sorry". Thank God for BB! Don't forget that we're here for you--whenever--and don't ever feel guilty or like you're being a burden! Lots of love and prayers coming your way!
WTH--:hello: and big *hugs* for you! Hope you caught that :egg:
Theresa--This holiday season will be painful enough for me, but honestly.... I couldn't imagine your pain and feeling of loss! :comfort: I agree wholeheartedly with you--you'll never get over losing Zachary. I do believe, however, that you will be blessed with your forever baby... and your guardian angel, Zachary, will always be watching and protecting you all! My thoughts are with you, hon... *hugs*
Polly--Sending you lots of :goodluck: and prayers for this cycle! *hugs*
Krystie--How's the :bellygrowing: coming along? Has the m/s stopped enough to where you've been able to put on some weight yet? Hey, btw, where did your ticker go??? Miss you! *kiss*
Big hello's and hugs for HannahD (lots of babydust for you) & megsmum (and some stickyvibes for you!)!!
Acria--Sorry to have to say this, but welcome back! (YKWIM about being sorry) It's been a while, hope things have been well with you. About your LP question... B6, B6, B6! It worked for me and came highly recommended by several girls here in our thread. I've also heard that progesterone can help, but my Dr. told me I have to get a BFP before he'll prescribe any for me. I have heard of some women using it just after O, tho, so maybe you could check with your Dr. and see what he thinks. Wishing you lots of :goodluck: and hope that your TTC journey is short and sweet! *hugs*
-
plc--5 more days to go until you get to hold your sweet little baby girl!!! :leap: Not that you need reminding, I'm sure, I just can't believe it!! :o
smi--Hey girl, you've been a little quiet... does this mean the m/s has arrived?? :crossfingers:
mollycat--:hello: Sorry again to have missed you on Friday--hopefully will catch you sometime during the week for a little impromptu chat! *kiss*
For our happy preggie friends: smi, issy, Tam, jenushka, joey, larz, Krystie, megsmum, pbstar, tutmae, tina, Rachel S, & Leyza--lots of :bellyrubs: and :stickyvibesgirl:
Hi's and  for Chappas, Easha, Ruthie, babymiracles, Dutchy, Possums, mumma&bubba, Milla, Mel, princess, buliej, maddysmum, mumstheword, Erybery, Rmercimek, & Hannah S
Special thoughts and  going out to tempus, Indy, Mannie, Toccara, & Ruthie during this holiday season! *hugs*
-
BFN today... I just don't know what to do with myself...
-
megsmum - :hello: :stickyvibesboy: How are you doing?
Lisa - Hi. We haven't met before. :goodluck: as you continue your TTC journey.
plc - Thanks, as always, for the well wishes. :bellyrubs:
jen - Hi *waving*. I'll second your "Thank God for BB!" I spoke to my grandmother the other day about my m/c for the first time. She had 2 herself and I asked her how she coped given that it was a time when no one talked about it and she said she took a lot of tranquilisers for awhile. Made me realise that, if we have to experience this then at least its in the age of computers and the internet. to you hun.
maternalbride - I'm so sorry about the BFN :comfort:
AFM - My boss took some time to speak to me today to make sure I was okay since I'd had a day off last week after my cousin upset me. He didn't need a full explanation of what had happened, he just offered his support. It just gave me a reason to smile today. Take care of yourselves ladies and don't be afraid to take time out when you need it.
-
Hi everyone,
MaternalBride - Sorry about the BFN, when were you supposed to test, could it have been too early?
HannahD - :hello: Glad to hear you are feeling better, your boss sounds so nice! Sorry I've been a bit quiet lately, just been so busy and was sick over the weekend so didn't go near the computer. Trying to concentrate on Christmas so I don't think about other things! It isn't working that well though :(
Lisa - We haven't met, sorry you have to share this journey with all of us. Best of luck!
plc - OMG - 5 more days - how exciting!!!!! :leap:
Megsmum - How are you going?
Smi - started yet?
Toccara - : hug: Sometimes fate forces us to confront things we have been trying to avoid which is not always a bad thing. I think we have all been guilty at some point of trying to stay strong and to just keep going. I think the healthiest thing we can do is stop and take time to reflect, vent, cry, scream, get angry and throw things - whatever works for you. Give yourself time to grieve and hopefully you can start to heal. for your 2009 forever baby. I agree with the other girls as well, I would be asking for a referral to a FS. Hope you find some answers.
Theresa -
jen - Know exactly how you feel, our angel would have been almost 6 months at Christmas. Old enough for their eyes to light up with all the presents and to have a photo with Santa, it's a hard time of year. *sigh* So glad we all have each other here at BB!
Polly -Best of luck for this cycle.
Emmanue - so sorry for your loss. Please do not feel ashamed. It can take a while to realise but there is nothing any of us could have done to prevent our m/c. I carried so much guilt around for a long time until it really sunk in that nothing I did or didn't do would've have changed what happened. Hope you can find some :comfort: here, I know I did.
Hi to Mannie, mollycat, WTH, babymiracles, krystielove, fifi, ruthie, mum's the word, possums, easha, hannahs and anyone else I may have missed.
Sorry I didn't get to write persies for everyone, still not feeling 100% so I am a bit tired.

jen - *hugs* good to see you again, ykwim. I hope Yuletide treats you well. There is some B6 in the pregnancy supplements I have, so I'll use them for now and try to pick up some B6 next time I go shopping.
maternalbride - sorry to hear about your bfn :( They're always difficult to deal with, and my advice is to just curl up, take care of yourself, watch some dvds, etc etc.
mel1979 - good to meet you (under the circumstances). Best of luck to you also!
Hannah - Hi there :) And thanks for the clover!
AFM - well today is cycle day 15, and I am having serious ovulation pains. I'd somehow forgotten that I get them. My cycles are always strange, varying between 26 and 28 days, but usually 26. Are ovulation pains meant to come before or after you ovulate? I'd always assumed before... Well, DH and I got in 2 BD's yesterday, so hopefully there's a good supply of swimmers seeking out the egg *fingers crossed* Feels odd in a way, to be thinking about this stuff again. Our baby, well, the one which pregnancy lasted for the longest, and hit us the hardest, was due on December 24th last year. Hopefully I don't get too upset this year. It's been a good year for us, and I'm feeling generally very content and settled.
xx

Hello all you beautiful ladies
Mel1979 - I hope you are feeling better soon Huge  to you. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help?!?!
Jen805 - It is extremely hard at the moment. I hope one day that we get to have a blessing of another baby whom we can love as much as we love Zachary.
MaternalBride - Sorry about your BFN. I understand how you are feeling as I had a BFN a few weeks ago. AF arrived the day before I was due to test - I was devastated!
Me - I am feeling very edgy as Zachary would have been 5 months old on Christmas Eve. As it draws closer I am getting more and more uptight. It is the hardest thing I have ever had to get through. My temporal arteritis results are still at 25 (still high but not dangerous) so no steroid treatment at this stage - YAY!!!!
I am trying to work out my next O phase but I keep stressing that I am going to miss it. I am so scared I will make a mistake and we will miss our window of opportunity. This waiting game is a mind killer and a soul destroyer!
 and :comfort:

Good morning to all my wonderful BB friends!!!
I realized looking back thru last night's post that I failed to mention at least 3 people! My list of names is getting so long, and I haven't updated it lately, so there's lots of circles and arrows for those that have moved over to the BFP list. Still no excuse, I know... so very sorry to TY, Emmanue, & MaternalBride!! *hugs* Will make sure to never exclude you girls again! Sorry if there's anyone else I've missed!!
Also, AJC, (in case you're lurking)--I'm so very happy for you that you'll be getting to enjoy Samuel's first Christmas with him 1 year early this year, given that he had an early introduction to the world! I hope that you're resting and healing comfortably, and are able to be home with Samuel before Christmas! Big  for you both!!
HannahD--I think there were a few times that some tranquilizers would've done me a world of good throughout this whole ordeal! How sad for your Grandma, tho, to experience her losses without the type of support that we get here on BB! There are some definite advantages to technology! I would also love to give your boss a hug! Not very many people (especially a man) would be so supportive and understanding! I'm glad he gave you a reason to smile! *hugs*
Mel--Wish I could give you this  in real life instead of cyberspace!
Acria--My prenatals have B6 in it, as well, but would still recommend the extra dose! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!! My O pains always come before I O, but I think I've read that you can also have them a day or two after you O. I say keep up with the :bd: until you know for sure! Do you temp, too? I tried for 2 months after my m/c to keep track of my cycle based on the way my body felt, and by my CM/CP. But my body was so screwy, I gave up and began temping. It's crazy how once you chart for a few cycles, you can practically predict when you're going to O just by watching your temps. Will be thinking of you and saying extra  for strength on Christmas Eve! *hugs*
MaternalBride--So sorry about your BFN. I know that feeling of disappointment oh so well.... *hugs* Is it possible that maybe you just tested too early? Keeping you in my prayers--it's not over 'til AF comes knocking!
Theresa--Glad to hear you got good results and don't need the steroid treatments. What happens next as the results are still high? Will they do any other type of testing or treatment? Keep your chin up, hon... I can't imagine how hard this is for you, but please know we're all here to support you thru this!
smi--Yay for a short work week! :hooray: Hope that doesn't mean you've got twice the work load! Are you feeling better this morning, or are you getting what you wished for?
-
jen...I am definitley getting a dose of what I wished for! I feel so sick I could puke everywhere...yet I am so hungry I feel like I could eat an entire cow...

Hello to all the Mum's and Mum's to be,
I joined belly belly a while ago now but just haven't been able to really talk about what I was going thru until now. I am the 35 year old mum a gorgeous 6 year old boy and his wish to santa was to have a baby brother or sister. I fell pregnant Sept '08 and November '08 at my 12 week check up found out quite heartlessly that my baby had died at 8 weeks. It was the most gut wrenching feeling, what made it worse was that the sonographer who informed me, was so matter of fact and I had to continue to lay on the table while she finished the exam. You have to wonder where some people get there social skills.
So now I am trying again after a D&C and crossing fingers and toes that what most people say is true, that after a d&C you tend to fall pregnant quickly. I love reading the threads on here they give so much hope and also in some way comfort knowing I am not the only one. So thank you to all the girls who post on here and here's hoping that all of us TTC are blessed with the most precious gifts.
