Maternalbride - Im so sorry af reared her ugly head  I had problems with my hormones at various times in my cycle and my periods were far too long. I struggled with it for a long time and am convinced it caused my 3 chemical pg'cys. Last month I tried taking macca powder to sort out my cycles and see if it helped my hormones and not only did it sort out my hormones but I fell pg....and so far so good  You can get it at any health food store, it comes in powder and capsules, but I took the powder, which although tastes disgusting, works quicker because your digestive system does not need to break down the capsule, it goes through the blood stream much faster. Of course I cannot be sure that the macca powder was the reason I fell pg, but I was advised to take it about 9 months ago by another lady on here who started taking it and fell pg straight away (and gave birth to a little girl a few weeks ago), after suffering from the same problems as me. I should have taken it a long time ago, but had kind of forgotten about it. Worth a try anyway! GL!
Smi - YAY for the morning sickness... I thought I was going to escape it up until a couple of days ago when I started feeling nauseas, and then this morning it was a race down the hallway to the closest sink, bucket or toilet...this morning it happen to be the kitchen sink! YUCK. Although I felt soooo much better once I had actually thrown up. Anyway I hope it keeps going...its a good sign.......and you did ask for after all ;)
Jen - Hi hun....Have you by any chance tried the macca powder..might be worth a go?
Sorry for lack or persies at the moment ladies but im off for more family christmas bbq's. The lead up to christmas is far more hectic than the actual day!
Merry christmas everyone...and of course a happy new year! May all of your dreams come true.
Issy
Thank you for the Hugs MaternalBride... I am sorry AF has arrived :( I am crossing my fingers she doesn't visit me but I think she will. I will cross my fingers for you MB.. take care *hugs*
Hi Calebs mum and Welcome - Though I know it feels awful to have to be in this place!
I was just thinking how weird it is that everyone doesnt want their AF to show up (and I totally understand the reason why!) when I can't wait for ot to come so I can TTC again! Its been nearly 9 weeks since the D&C and still no AF. I rung the gyn yesterday and had a progesterone test which was only 2.5! so I have to pick up a prescription for the pill tomorrow. He said to take a pill twice a day for ten days then stop it, then AF should arrive and then start clomid on day 3! I cannot believe I am being put back on the pill to regulate my cycle! I wish my body would just "do" the right thing!
Anyways, I have to say that at least now Ill be doing something, not just waiting and waiting!
I hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas and is able to get through the festive season without too much sadness even though I know how difficult it's gonna be for all of us!
Zachary's mum - The only way that I can think of to make sure you don't "miss your chance when ovulating" is to do it all the time!!! hehehe
Hi Erybery,
Thank you for the welcome :)... I think for those of us who have had kids we think it will never happen to us and for those who have been trying without success they wonder why. But it is so nice to have a community like this where we can support be sounding boards for each other. I know I thought no one else could or would understand but the girls on here do.
Good luck with the "pill" I will be looking forward to the day you can post BFP again :)
*hugs* and merry christmas to you
Hey Ladies,
I just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a fabulous new year!
Eat, drink and be merry!!
:birthday2:
Love to you all!
xxx
Firstly - Welcome Caleb's Mum. Sorry for your loss. Everyone here is great and have been so helpful and supportive for me. It has made my journey a lot easier to deal with.
erybery - Hope everything works out and goes well for you. For once I will hope AF arrives for you! It is a good thing we have a few days off work over Christmas and in the New Year! DP and I will be really busy (WWNN). We have Christmas Day and then a week in January so :ttc: for us.
MaternalBride - so sorry AF turned up.
Jen805 - At this stage there is no treatment, I just have to put up with the severe headaches (they have given me a prescription for Panadeine Forte but I haven't got them yet as I don't want to take any chances for TTC). As long as the levels don't go over 50, I can carry on as I am. I am happy to have the headaches as long as I don't have to have steroids!
Mel1979 - to you too.
I know I haven't been much in the Christmas spirit but I do want to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and all tyhe best for dreams coming true on 2009.
Theresa xx
Morning ladies...
Just a quick...thanks for the reminder Issy...:shhh:
Have a wonderful day gurlies!
Caleb's Mum and MaternalBride...
:bluedust::pink-babydust:
:stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
Merry Christmas Eve to all my mates in Aussie!! Hope you all have a blessed Christmas!! :grouphug:
smi--Hello my new facebook friend! :) Hope you're enjoying your Christmas Eve Eve! Oh, I remember that sick yet starving feeling so well! Eat up--that's probably what will make you feel better!
Caleb's mom--:welcome: I'm so sorry for the loss of your angel baby! I pray you find :comfort: and support among the girls here... we all know and understand your grief! I'm so sorry to hear about the inconsiderate u/s tech you had--people like that shouldn't be allowed to work in a profession where they have to be empathetic to other people's feelings! Big *hugs* for you, hon!
Maternal Bride--Grr! So sorry to hear about AF! Were you taking extra B6, or just what's in your supplements? And did you take it for the whole cycle, or just part of it? I want to say that I take an extra 150 mg on top of what's already in my prenatals (can't say for sure, I'll wake DS up if I go check!) and it has helped me quite a bit. Sorry again, hon...
issy--No, I've never tried the macca powder... may have to check into it now, thanks! *hugs* and :stickyvibesgirl:
erybery--Hope the pill helps to regulate your cycle! Wishing you the best of luck and sending lots of AF vibes your way!!
fifi--Happy holidays to you!! *kiss* Sending lots of Christmas :bellyrubs:
Theresa--Wish I could give you this  filled with the festive holiday spirit to help make this holiday season a little easier for you! Hope your headaches get better, too!
jen - look at u with ur xmas coordinated colours - lol!!! At a time when it's hard to get into the christmas spirit, I guess every little thing helps... good on you love.
For those who know that this christmas means more than just christmas - ie. lots of :bd:, i do so hope that your miracles start very soon.
I truly wish that, somewhere at this Christmas time, there are some feelings of happiness and hope for everyone here for the coming year of 2009. While there is life there is hope, please don't ever give up ladies - take time out where required - but never give up hope. Along with happiness and hope, i just want to sprinkle Christmas dust of strength, courage and positivity.
Love to you all and remembering each and every one of you during this festive (and sometimes difficult) season. :loveshower:
Mel - I hope you feel better soon
Lisa - Thinking of you today. Hope you caught that :egg:
Theresa - Thats good news that you don't need steroid treatment. I can't imagine how difficult today is for you, but I'm sending you a big cyberhug since it can't be a real life one. Hope this is the month for you :bluedust:
smi & issy - Glad you're  IYKWIM
jen - Well, my boss is a doctor, so I guess understanding comes with the territory. But he is a renal specialist and has shown more compassion than one of the (female) OBs I work with.
Caleb's mum - :welcome: to TTCAML. I'm so sorry for your loss, and that you were told in such a heartless way. May your stay here be short. But in the meantime, the fabulous ladies here will support you through it.
maternalbride - So sorry AF showed.
erybery - Yay for being proactive. I hope the pill works for you.
plc - Thanks for looking out for us. Wow! Only 3 days to go now.
I started dreading Christmas almost from the day I found out my baby had died. Now that its almost here I can say its as difficult as I thought it would be. I would be 31 weeks by now and have a nice big round belly to compete with Santa's. But, I'm trying not to focus on what would've been. For whatever reason, thats not what is. I just remind myself that this Christmas could still very well be the last that DH and I have with just the two of us. And that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Merry Christmas everyone. I  that we can all find some hope and happiness this Christmas. May all of our dreams come true in 2009. :grouphug:
plc - sweetheart - all the very best for Saturday i am sending you strength and love.
To all the ladies in here I want to thank you for the support and kindness you all have shown through an extremely difficult time.
I wish you all the very best for 2009 and know that the courage and strength we have found through our shared hardship and the beautiful abundance of love on this site has had a positive impact on others.
love to you all
Adele
Just dropping by to wish all you lovely ladies a very happy Xmas and New Year as we have a busy few days ahead of us now so won't get to post for a bit. And also a big big thank you to you all for all the support and kind words over the year :grouphug:
To all the ladies struggling with Xmas this year.... and please, take care of yourself. There will be many more Xmases ahead where you will feel more like celebrating, if you feel like being low key this year will help then go with the flow I say.
I hope that 2009 will be a wonderful year for all of us and hope to see lots of BFPs and new bubbas being welcomed into the world.
xxxooo everyone!
PS. I had my 1st ob visit yesterday and all is looking good, bubby has a little hb and is measuring 7w5d which again is spot on for dates. So still feeling only cautiously optimistic as we lost our last little one between 8 and 12 weeks after seeing a hb - the next 4 - 5 weeks will be the important ones to get through for us  I have another ob appt in 2 weeks for another "reassurance" u/s, hoping everything goes well.
PPS. I should also say, plc all the best for the upcoming birth of your bub - good luck and I'll bet you can't wait! hun
Hi Ladies,
Just a quick one today....busy busy busy!
:confetti:Merry Christmas and happy new year!
Hope your day is filled with good company, great food and loads of love and happiness. :confetti:
All my love, Issy
Hi everyone..i havent posted in here for a while, but wanted to stop in and wish you all a merry christmas!! and thank you for your support to me during what has been a hard year. You are a supportive bunch. :)
I would also like to let you know I have just found out we have a natural christmas miracle...I am pregnant! While waiting to start IVF, we thought we would try naturally, and we were halfhearted about it to be honest, expecting nothing (having been told chances of natural conception were very very slim), so this has shocked and delighted us.... although I am scared it will be ectopic again, or that it won't stay for the long haul...but I really pray this is to be our baby...i am only just 14dpo now so early days
Hi ladies!
Taking off my lurker hat to wish you all a wonderful Christmas! I hope you all have a wonderful wonderful festive time- you all deserve it!! Plus I hope it's full of too much food- that's always a bonus!!
Possums: CONGRATULATIONS hon! what a fantastic chrissy present! I'll be keeping my :crossfingers: for you hon!
Jen: :hugs: to you darlin! Sorry I've been such a dirty lurker! Am up to my eyeballs with work and baking at the moment (only remembered the other day that I'd said I'd do Christmas dessert for lunch, then ma asked me to do it for dinner too.... lucky I'm in a baking mood!). Hope everything is fantastic with you, hon!
Hi Everyone
Just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS
Possums - Congratulations on your special little Christmas gift. :confetti:
Smi - hope for you that the  doesn't last too long or be too hard on you.
Megsmum - Glad to hear that everything looks good for you.
PLC - Three days and counting - chat with you again shortly. Can't wait to hear your announcement.
KL - :bellyrubs: for you.
To each and everyone else - Please don't feel I'm ignoring you, I will catch up with you all eventually. But in the meantime. For those healing - you couldn't wish for a nicer bunch of friends then the ones you've found in here. For my TTC friends :pink-babydust::bluedust: and for those who have found their little miracles :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
Possums - :clap::dance::hooray::leap:
:grouphug: to everyone else on thread - wishing you all a peaceful day tomorrow and fingers crossed for lots and lots of BFPs in the new year.
AFM: Well me very confused. Had a frostie transfer about 10 days ago and had pregnancy test today. They said it was negative - but I do have some pregnancy hormone present - hcg is 21 and progesterone level 96 - so very very slim chance still of a miracle but because lab is closing I cannot have another blood test till monday. She said is is most likely that hcg will fall and I am not pregnant. Apparently hcg level will need to drop to 0 and progesterone of < 5 before I can start my next stimulated cycle. So basically am very confused. Has any else had such low hcg levels and ended up being pregnant? So another five days waiting - it is soooo hard !
Just wanted to wish every one of you lovely ladies all the best for the season, but more importantly, a happy, safe, fruitful and very lucky 2009.
PLC - It's only hours until you meet your :baby:. Take it easy and try to get some ZZZZZZZZZZZ while you still can. Can't wait to hear the good news!
Possums - WOOOOOO HOOOOO  What a great Christmas gift. Wishing you a happy and healthy PG :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy:
Babymiracles - it ain't over yet, hon. My :crossfingers: for you
WTH xx
Babymiracles...i have everything crossed for you..here's hoping
I'm popping in too! Just wanted to wish everybody a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful, safe and happy 2009! Love and hugs to all, especially those who are finding it tough this year...
I've brought a humungous christmas custardy trifle (YUM!) - I'll leave it here, and you can all help yourself ;) (I know, I am such a dag!)
Possums ..... yayayayayay!!!:hooray: What a wonderful chrissy present - wishing you a h&h pg.
Love, hugs, positive vibes, as well as oodles of :bluedust::pink-babydust: and :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy: for all
xx
P.S. I and bean are doing well - I've felt the pg crankiness ramp up this week - poor dh has really suffered from me being a deranged hormonal crazy pg lady! Don't tell him I even sounded remotely sympathetic ... I'm trying hard to be very miffed about.... something ... or other!
Possums!!!! What a super duper Xmas pressie!!! :happyforyou:
All the very best and heaps of :stickyvibesgirl:
babymiracles - I would say you are most definitely still in with a chance hun  Hang in there, will be hoping for the best for you!
Hello ladies! Merry Christmas Eve to all of you!
Possums- CONGRATULATIONS! What wonderful news for Christmas! I will  for you and your little one.
I will be testing tomorrow morning. I am soooooooooo nervous. I'm not sure if I can take the sight of a BFN. Please keep your fingers crossed for me :grouphug:
Hopefully I can find some time tomorrow to write personals and let you all know if there is any news here on my side. I love you ladies. Hope you are all in good spirits during the holiday
I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and to thank you all for your continued support and all the wonderful belly rubs you give to my little baby.
We received the best christmas gift today when we had our anatomy scan and were told that everything is looking perfect. I'm sure you'll all be very proud to know that bubs behaved very well and they got all the measurements easily (even though we were secretly hoping bubs would play up so we'd get to watch it play for a bit longer, lol).
Congratulations Possums! I am so thrilled for you!
Babymiracles - With you only having the transfer 10 days ago I would have thought that a hcg level of 21 might be normal if you were pregnant. It's pretty early days still, so fingers crossed that when the lab re-opens you will have a wonderful christmas surprise!
Firstly, merry xmas to all the lovely ladies here, hope your dreams will come true in 2009!
Secondly, congratulations to Possums, this would be the best present ever!
Lastly, something about myself - I got all my results back, I am luckly to have a really nice doctor who let me do the tests just after two miscarriages. Everything is normal the only thing that's a bit high is the prolactin levels, it's over 500 (below 600). But the doctor said it doesn't have a major effect on miscarriges. Does anyone know anything about it? Many thanks in advance!
Merry Christmas!!! & Happy New Year!!!
Hey Gurlies!
Hugs and smiles all around for each and every one of you this Christmas!
plc...you and baby are almost there...have you begun to get nervous yet? Can't wait for pictures and the big announcement!
HannahD...I'll take the m/s anytime! Have a blessed Christmas!
Adele...so glad you popped in...we've missed you!
megsmum...how exciting! Glad you got wonderful news!
Issy...still  and
Possums...Stay blessed...congratulations!
tut...*wavin* hey gurlie...wish I'd known you were baking...I am so not in the baking mood...LOL
WTH...jen...mollycat...Krystie...:grouphug:
jenushka...Hey gurlie! Glad you and bean are doing well!
:bluedust::pink-babydust:
:stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
I have refrained form posting here as I always post depressive posts... and I don't want to burden all you girls who have been so wonderful to me.... and of course I don't want to ruin no ones Christmas Spirit!
I just thought I might update you all on how things have gone...
First of all..
Smi , Issy & Possums: CONGRATULATIONS!!!! My very Best wishes going your way!;)
Mannie & Tocarra:..:crying: my ♥ goes out to you both!! I'm very sorry that like me.. your worst nightmare came true again.
Jen: Thank you... for remembering me even if I have not been here for almost 2 months.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and New Years. We have been hanging in there... My husband has still not found a job but we are getting unemployment help and it has been a blessing. I started babysitting to make some $$ of my own and for now I only have one 10 mo old baby girl..who is such a doll. SO am blessed to be at least making some $$ doing something I like to do. (caring for babies)
My son turned 4 on 12-16 and even if we didn't have much I managed to get him a cake and some clothes.. my husband got him one of those Vtech educational toys and he loved it!
So yaayy on little Erick turning 4.. I can't believe time has flown by so fast... and in a way...it makes me hurt even MORE inside that I still have not brought him a sibling to play.
Well ..since my 3rd loss on 9/11 and my D&C on AF has NOT ...nope... shown up.
PCOS has a good grip on me again and I don't know why on earth I still dream of a baby when I know it won't happen.. I think my cousin was right when she called me an infertile fool!!!
soo... I don't know why on earth I decided to POAS today in the AM and I don't know why on earth I would ever think "this time maybe a miracle will happen"..cuz I got the blankest ..whitest BFN ever. Reminding me... I'm a FOOL!!!:crying:
..I'm resumed to be happy that 2008 is almost gone.. gone with the very most thing I ever wanted.. my baby.. here is to 2009..which like in 2007 I was making plans for a baby in 2008.. having only 2 periods on 2007.. and a mere 4 in 2008... will I ever make it through my approaching Due Date April 2nd???
I dread that day so much.. but I know I will survive.. the same way I have survived 3 miscarriages.. but.. I can say... I was a very colorful person.. Now I have faded to an old grey.. like ashes.... I'm literally pushing myself to be "Merry" and just accept my truth. I walk through each day just hoping time goes by fast ....and me.. like another flower on a wallpaper...
....
I know.. I know.. and I'm so very sorry my posts are not "happy" ones since Sept..
but all in all..
I wish all of you the very best... I hope all of you have many blessings and more to come.
Away with 2008 and on to 2009.
May 2009 bring all of us something to be grateful and happy about.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
I'm super busy with holiday preparations, but had to take the time to wish all my Aussie friends a very blessed and Merry Christmas, and a happy, healthy New Year!!
Wishing my UK/US friends a Merry Christmas Eve!!!
Just wanted to thank you all for your support, strength, and unconditional love and friendship that you've all shown me since I joined this thread in March. There's no way that I ever could've made it through the last 9 months without you all! :grouphug:
My friday night girls--Truly love each and every one of you! You're all amazing friends, and if I could go back and alter the past.... I wouldn't change a thing, because then I wouldn't have been given the gift of your friendship. 2008 was a bittersweet, beautiful letdown.... the prelude of the blessings that are sure to come in 2009! *kiss* and a HUGE :grouphug:
Thank you Jen and everyone else for your beautiful words and Christmas wishes .
Ruthie - hun, I can only say that you are not a fool - you would only be a fool to give up hope. Please take it at your own pace hun (stupid thing to say I know when you want it to all have happened yesterday) but never ever ever give up hope. I know PCOS is quite a ballgame that has no rules but if you give up hope, you lose your chance of bringing that colour back in your life that you mentioned. What will be in the far off distant future just leave it til then and don;t think too much about it. It's the today and the near future that has to be your focus as well as the positive gifts you do have in your life. I'm so sorry that financially it is very hard at the moment, I understand. But focus on the beautiful boys in your life and, while you don't have a sibling just yet for your little boy, you have given him a wonderful mummy and daddy whom he is so lucky to have in this day and age. I wish you all the strength and courage to get thru this tough time - beautiful girl, you will get there.....
Thankyou all for your lovely wishes - you have all been a part at various stages of my journey and I thankyou for all the support, love and warmth I have been priviledged to receive as a member of this thread. I can't tell you how much you all mean to me.
Sorry I haven't responded in a couple of days, been busy, as I'm sure you all have! A happy Yuletide to all I hope! :)
I *think* we caught the eggie, by BDing prior to ovulation...and I'm already thinking myself into symptoms -_- About 10 days till Af is due..oh dear...I just have a good feeling about this cycle.
Sorry for the lack of personals, must dash to give DH attentions! But I am thinking of you all, congratulations to some of you, I'm delighted for you! Thinking of those of you who've had disappointments. Never give up..
Lisa xx
Plc: :crying::hug: thank you. I live more with doubts than with hope but even if I have felt like dropping the towel... something keeps telling me that it can happen.
God bless you doll... thank you for having such a big heart.... I missed being here.. but as I said 2 months ago.. I would be on when I have something new to say... so far same old.
Love my girls here...
:grouphug:
I hope all of you had a great Christmas eve.... May God bring many blessings to you all this coming year!!
For those whom I haven't had the chance to meet.. WELCOME.. and sorry you had to join this thread.. yet I have found the most amazing of friends.. after going through my 3rd miscarriage back on Sept 11th. You all have a friend in me.. even though I have been absent for a while...
Wishing you all good luck to all TTC and those who have their miracles on their way.. it''s really great to see you guys so close to the finish line... it hurts to lose a baby but when you finally have a miracle... it's the most amazing of things. My deepest and most honest best wishes to all new mommies to be. ♥
Love,
Ruthie
Morning lovely ladies,
Sorry I didn't post a Merry Christmas message yesterday. We had Christmas lunch at our house so it was a little chaotic. Needless to say I am exhausted!
I hope you all had a wonderful day and enjoyed some special moments with friends and family in amongst the angst we are all going through.
Big Congratulations to Possums - :happyforyou: To know you fell pregnant when you had so many things against you really does restore my hope and inspires me.
Ruthie -
Had some bad cramping yesterday and was really sore and tender around my ovaries so I am hoping it meant I was ovulating. we caught the egg this time!
Better go as I have a family BBQ to get to, will try and do some persies in the next couple of days.
:stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy: to all our wonderful pregnant friends.
:bluedust::pink-babydust: to all of us TTC.
Adele - Glad you popped in. I hope that all your dreams come true in 2009.
megsmum - that the next few weeks go smoothly and bub continues growing strong and healthy.
possums - Congratulations! What a fantastic Christmas pressie. :stickyvibesboy:
babymiracles - :crossfingers: for you hun!
jenushka - Glad all is well with you and bean.
HannahS - Hope you got the Christmas gift you wished for.
Krystie - Glad you and chyan are doing well.
TY - Yay for good test results. At least you know there aren't any probs. You're lucky to have such as supportive doctor.
smi - Hope the m/s didn't spoil Christmas dinner. Although you did say that you've been really hungry too so it probably didn't spoil anything. Take care hun. :stickyvibesgirl:
Ruthie - I just want to swim the Pacific to come and give you a great big  Please, please don't give up hope. You are not a fool. I know things are financially tough at the moment and Christmas can be difficult time, but enjoy the time you have with your 2 special boys. I  that all your dreams can come true in 2009.
plc - Will be thinking of you tomorrow.
Lisa - Hope you caught that egg and will have a nice surprise for the new year.
Mel - :crossfingers: you caught that egg!
tutmae, WTH, jen - :hello:
Hi to all those I've missed. I hope everyone had a merry Christmas and got to share some good times with family and friends. Thankyou to everyone for your support through the last 5 months. I don't know how I could've coped without each and every one of you. I hope that 2009 brings us all what we wish for.
Just a quick one from me....
Hi - I'm back online again
Just wanted to pop in and wish you all a lovely Christmas and very safe, happy & healthy 2009! (with lots of BFP's)!!!!!
So glad to be out of hospital and Sam is doing really well, we had him weighed again today and he's doing nicely.
Just also wanted to thank everyone again for all of the support during my ttc journey, you guys made things feel so much better. I'll still be around to support and encourage as much as I can.
My best wishes to you all.
AJC - Congratulations! So wonderful to hear everything's going so well. Can't wait to see pics of Sam! :)
Ruthie - I remember seeing you when I was very active on these boards a few months ago. I'm so sorry things aren't good for you right now. Look after yourself, snuggle your boys, and have faith that things will come good in time. It's hard to have that faith sometimes..but all in good time. You're in my thoughts
Mel - hope your family lunch was lovely! And hoping you caught the egg! Fingers crossed for the both of us, belly buddies maybe ;)
Babymiracles - got my fingers crossed for you! It's not over until it's over, and till then there's hope. I'll be thinking of you on Monday.
AFM - I am so bloated...there's every possibility it's down to the pure consumption of the last couple of days ;) But everything right now is a *possible* symptom..how I love the TWW  I'm feeling fairly positive at the moment, I've got next year's calendar up, and am feeling very invigorated to get ready and fresh for a brand new year, full of joy for us all!
Lisa xx
I never realised just how hard Christmas would be!!!! It was supposed to be so different! I almost feel like I just can't do this. I want to go to sleep and never wake up - it is just too painful. I miss my little boy so much and I don't know how to cope with him not being here. I thought I was being so strong and doing so well - but I am not.
Sorry for the ranting but I know you will understand and not judge me.
I don't have the words at the moment to make it better for you - just needed to give you a
TY - I had high prolactin levels diagnosed before my second pregnancy as we were having problems conceiving but mine were a lot higher than yours about 900. I have been on medication for hyperprolactinaemia which suppresses this hormone as I believe when it is too high it can prevent ovulation from occuring which may have been causing us all of our TTC problems and effecting my cycles. But after medication for about 3 cycles we got pg but then lost our angel at 11 weeks (missed m/c) but my doctor didn't believe this hormone had anything to do with the m/c. Prolactin naturally rises in pregnancy anyway, so once we were pregnant we stopped the medication and now I am back on it again and TTC first cycle since m/c. I hope this helps you
Theresa - I really wish I could reach out and give you this  in person. Don't apologise for the rant, that's what we're here for. Cry, yell, scream, laugh, smile or let go and have that "ugly cry". It's all part of the process. All you can do is take it one day at a time, it will become easier, your special memories will be there forever. It's a very hard time of the year, and many people don't understand why my DH and I distance ourselves each year. We try to make it a happy occasion for our boys, but in the end, we still sit back and watch and remember our loved ones who are no longer with us.
This poem helped me last year, (we also lost a dear friend as well as our bub) it's almost a little late, but I hope it helps you.
My First Christmas in Heaven
I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below
with tiny lights, like Heaven's stars, reflecting in the snow.
The sight is so spectacular! Please wipe away that tear,
for I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,
but the sounds of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you the joy their voices bring,
for it is beyond description to hear the angels sing.
I know how much you miss me. I see the pain inside your heart,
but I am not so far away, We really aren't apart.
So be happy for me, loved ones. You know I hold you dear.
Be glad I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I send you each a special gift from heavenly home above.
I send you each a memory of my undying love.
After all, "Love" is a gift more precious than gold.
It was always most important in the stories Jesus told
Please love and keep each other, as my Father said to do,
for I can't count the blessings or love He has for you.
So, have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear.
Remember, I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
