Hello Jules!!
I do understand your ramblings ;)
a positive OPK after ov can be a positive HPT - they can be used as a pg test, so I say go and get a test and let us know!! you could be our lucky 3rd!

Hello Jules!!
I do understand your ramblings ;)
a positive OPK after ov can be a positive HPT - they can be used as a pg test, so I say go and get a test and let us know!! you could be our lucky 3rd!
Hi Milly
Dare i admit that i did do a hpt (and i'm not even sure why??) which of course came back negative. even if i did o on saturday i'd only be 5dpo which would be way early for anything to show up. and if according to the positicve opk i o'd on mon/tues i'd only be 2-3dpo?????
i'm so confused!
AAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!
Sunbeam - I took the clomid tablets day 3-7 and ovulated on day 14, I knew exactly when it was happening as I was in agony with the pain (guess my ovaries aren't used to dropping eggs!) hope this helps!
Hi all.
Jules fingers crossed for you sweet!
I think I am out. im going to go with my gut.
My temps are snaking down slowly I got a negative with a HPT that measures 10 hcg, not 25 like the other ones, so im sure it would show by now even faintly. Theres no hint of a second line, and have never gotten evap lines either..
Also my chin is breaking out :( I guess Ill be having the endoscopy after all which I know I said would be good, but just wish I hadnt had to go to that length.
I seriously think its an implanting problem..Can you all look at my charts? Im getting the implantation dip and everything is great then it goes downhill.
Im expecting spotting today and I have had a couple of pangs in the pelvic region so I feel 99% Im out..
Im also taking mum out for her 50th and Id rather not see her at all (very very strained relationship, but i wouldnt hear the end of it if we didnt give her a darn parade today:cry:) My sister and I both dont want to see her.
Oh Coco1411
Hang in there, the endoscopy will help, if anything it will ease your mind to know that the problem (if any problem) has been fixed and your ready to go. Focus on what this lil op means in the long run, not the fact that you have to have it done in the first place. It sucks, yes, ideally you shouldn't have too but you're doing it and good things will come. Just you wait and see.
Love you, chin up, hope to see you soon.
hello
coco1411 - hang in there. we need to stay positive. fingers and toes crossed for you! i hope you survived the encounter with your mum too - you can't choose your family!
milly5 - i am coming up to 34 and dh is 39 and i feel the 'thirty's pressure'. i m/c 5 days after you and i'm coming to the end of my fertile period and then will be entering the TWW. oh joy. i had a function last week and met a mother there who had her first at 38 and is 40 and as she put it has 'legs in the air and going for it'. I walked away with hope. i agree with jules, after i have the big 'this is crap' and have a big cry i eat choc and feel a million bucks and off i go again. seems to get me through to the next 'legs in the air' period. i too worry that i will have enough time to fit 2 kids in. 1 would be nice!
sunbeam - go the gals in the thirtys! I enter my tww tomorrow. i have looked into clearblue opk today and will be investing in one if i don't have a win this month
maddison - everything still crossed for you:crossfingers:
sammyp - i hope time passes very quickly for you and you are TTC soon
ashlilly - hi and welcome
anila - hope all is good with you
elislouise85 - bought thermometer today (really hoping I just wasted $15 and I am pg) but will have it ready to go for next month if needed - feel better that i am doing somthing constructive!
juleswa - i haven't done any opk so no help but sending postive thoughts your way!
big hi and sticky vibes and good moods to everyone out there.
be at ease....
Thanks everyone..
Ashlily, hope you're enjoying your belly belly experience! Have you found your forums you want to chat in yet? You will be able to make private posts and not have to use the security code thing after so many posts, cant remember how many..
My mother ALWAYS leaves me in a foul mood...I hate it!!! She always makes a little insult at my sister about something...today it was she was dumb and "whats with the silver shoes?" Sam said "oh thanks for my birthday treat, yeah great" it was a little awkward..
Does anyone feel uncomfortable tlaking finances with their other half?? When ever mine brings it up I feel like a naughty little kid...I dont know what it is!! And i get defensive about what i have spent money on. like I have to have a bloody good reason for it...ugh I dont like it, it isnt the money causing tension between us its my reaction to it. I dont know how to fix it..
I havent started spotting yet but im not holding out much hope. I thought id get a positive on a 10mlhcg by now but nope..so feeling a little pesimistic. I havent had any cramps like i normally have and that is the only little shred of hope i have..
Hi everyone. Hope you are all feeling well and enjoying the weekend.
Coco - Did you test this morning? I know just what you mean about your mum. Mine knows how to push my buttons and send me into the worst moods ever.
Sunbeam - I hope you and donor daddy are catching that egg.
:grouphug: to everyone.
AFM I am having the strangest sensations at the moment. A weird pain in my left bum cheek and down my left thigh. Like some on punched me in the bottom. Is that odd?? And my 'girl bits' feel very sensitive. Not sure if its a good sign or not.
Sorry this is only a short one...
:bluedust: to everyone out there today.
well i had an ultrasound yesterday as part of my gp's investigation into that wierd spotting i was getting for a week and lucky lucky me they found a 'large endometrial polyp'.
i can't write too much cause i feel pretty upset about the whole thing. so even if i am lucky enough to get pregnant this month it will be chalked up as miscarriage #3 cause the chances of implantation with the polyp seem pretty remote.
i feel very very down and just want to curl up and cry.
Hi everyone.
My FF account is now on hold.
RB turned up this morning just as I was testing. im concerned about my luteal phase being so short! 12dpo today!
Now I guess I wont bother with charting until after the operation which is on the 16th.
Im not sure how to count it once Ive had it? Do I count cycle day one as being the day of the procedure seeing as they're doing a d&c? Im really not looking forward to waking up after it..I had a termination when I was a teenager and the sound of it and the feelings I had have been haunting me ever since :(
Hope everyone is well. I might just lurk for a little while..but who am I kidding Ill prolly end up posting ;)
Love Eliza/Coco
Juleswa - I am sorry the results of your ultrasound were not good and you are feeling down. The only positive i have for you is that at least you know and are able to do something positive about it. You are still in control even if it doesnt feel like it at the moment. :comfort:
Coco - Sorry a/f came early. Please keep us filled in on your journey. Is your l/p always around 12 days or usually longer?
It really shouldnt be this hard. But i need to believe that we will all get our beautiful families one day. For some the journey will be long and hard and for some it will be a challenge but i really do believe we will all get there. Together with loving partners / husbands and families and the support of this wonderful support group... we will get there.
Maddison
Your username gives me hope that we will have our own Madison one day so I love seeing it.
My luteal phase is normally 13-14 days, but never 11! I have some rather unusual pains much like my miscarriage pains, that really sharp strong all of a sudden wave of pain, its awful, but i very light flow. And its hurting when i wee. All I can do now is just hope the endoscopy helps the cause and we're lucky after it.
xx
Just a quick drop in to say hi and good luck to everyone!
I noticed your ticker Coco, onwards and upwards from here hey......
Maddison.................I totally agree that ONE DAY we will all have our own little families. I have to believe that because right now while im at work I have a 16 yr old girl prg with twins (after a loss in March). If I didn't belive what you beleive then I would be sad, but im not, im just waiting for my turn to have a H&H prg and baby.
hi to all
visited my new little niece sienna today. she is 1 week old and was 5wks premmie. there are so many lovely bubbas in special care. i just love seeing so many babies. really trying to stay positive this month. we have/are dtd the same cd's as when i fell preg in march so fingers crossed. today is day 15. july is my month! dh bday on 23rd and i hoping i can tell him we are expecting!!!
i hope all your gals are having a good positive week end. be good to yourselves.
mwah!
can anyone tell me how to get one of the lovely little angels added to my signature? I think they are so cute and applicable. they make me smile. i can't find them in the 'smilies'
Hi All
What do people consider to be the first day of AF. Do you count the very faint spotting as the first day or wait until you see the red blood? I'm trying to work out my luteal phase.
Zstar: the angel smiley is : angel : without the spaces between the colons and the word angel
Hi Sammy
Go with the first day of the "Red" flow. Thats what FF says and every book I have read and google.com ;)
I had red/brown flow this morning with painful weeing and now nothing :| Like...hurry up and just come out because I KNOW YOU'RE THERE !!!!!
Anyone else heard the latest groud breaking research about DTD and sperm production???????? My DH is VERY happy!!
I'll have to find out the Prof's name, but the research suggests that DTD more often is better for TTC couples as the sperm is of a higher quality if a male ejaculates frequently. They agree that their is less sperm due to increased ejaculation, but the quality is so much better so it balances out the odds, apparently.
So off I go AGAIN to chill out and try with DH.....................he thinks we may have got it this time..........................we'll see, just need to chill!
Morning all hope evryone is having a good weekend :)
Sunny hadnt heard that new research last time i was speaking to the doc she said its better not to dtd to often but im sure all the dh out there will be very happy to hear that news. Im glad you are holding out hope and believing and you will get your H&H pg really soon, hopefully this is your month :crossfingers:
Coco hope your bleeding and pain clear up soon and a normal AF arrives so you can start TTC real soon and hopefully get your BFP.
zstar the babies in the special care nursery are just beautiful arent they i had a niece & nephew in there earlier in the year and they are just so gorgeous, hopefully you can have some lovely time with your little niece and you will get your very own BFP :)
maddison i love your positive attitude and i to believe that we will all get our happy little families very soon
Jules i hope you are starting to feel a little better, at leats now you know whats happening and they can do something to sort it all out :comfort:
Hello to everyone else and hope to see some more BFP's in here soon
AFM after the d&c on tuesday i thought the bleeding had stopped but it came back again on friday, not as heavy as it was but still there. Dont know whats happening the doc said it should stop in 3 or 4 days but its still here  I have a checkup on tuesday but hopefully it stops by itself before then. Other than that ive had a good weekend though, had a win in netball on saturday and db took me out for a lovely dinner last night which was very yummy. Gonna have a nice soak in the bath now i think which will just top off my weekend.
Talk soon :grouphug:
I read that too, was in the herald i think?
Read it to hubby and since he hasnt been working he has been very co operative in dtd sometimes twice a day, im the one not wanting to dtd that often, lol.
So i have been reading but not posting as i havent had much to say, im cd14 today and at 1 am i went to the loo and i had a pink smear, but now nothing, it was a bit wet down there but i didnt know if that was because we dtd at 9.30pm, so im confused, its too early for implantation, so maybe its o?
I also have a runny ish nose and bloody nose also?
coco, im so very sorry that af is making an appearence. :hugs:
Afternoon ladies
I have been reading all the post's but havn't had a great deal to say.
Maddison-I agree we will all have have families one day whether it's a first baby or a last baby to complete a family like we are trying to achieve i have to believe it will happen otherwise i could not get through each day.
Zstar-the angel is in the other smilies where you type your reply post,at the top is a smilely face next to the big A click on that and it brings up a heap of them and the angel is in there.
Sammy-first day of AF is when there is blood not spotting.
Sunny09-i also read the info the more you dtd the better the DNA in the sperm and the better the quality.
eliselouise-I hope the bleeding settles down for you and i'm glad you are having a good weekend it sound's like you are doing ok.
To all my other BB girl's i hope you are all well
AFM-I am fertile as had a pos OPK and for the first time i had EWCM i havn't had that since my early twenties i am also h###y as a cane toad DH and i have been having the best sex because we havn't had to BD at a certain time and would you believe it we are both off work on my fertile days every other month i was fertile when we both were at work and had to have quickies in between now we are trying to avoid getting pregnant for a while and look what happen's the timing is right the CM is right everthing is right but our stupid gene's but we are being strong and making sure no spermies get in there it is so hard i keep thinking what if it could be the month and the baby would be ok and then i think what if i get pregnant and it is an affected baby AARRRGGGG!!! so i just have to keep waiting for oct to get my healthy babies
Good morning girls,
Sorry I have been MIA all weekend but was at my friends and she has a computer but no internet access at the moment.
Juleswa- sorry to hear your ultrasound news but at least it is something very treatable and you may have an answer now as to your difficulties getting or staying pg. Good luck and I hope once it is gone it will be an easy path to a BFP.
Eryberry- thanks for the answer, mt FS had me taking the clomid day 2-6 but I still either didn't o or o'ed around cd17-25 as I would normally but the pain for my overies ever since has been terrible.
Zstar- hope the TWW flies by with a BFP at the end of it.
Ashlily-welcome to our threat hope you are feeling the loving support that is here.
Elise- I hope the bleeding has stopped after your d&c.
Ferrals- isn't that just sods law that everything is in line for you to TTC and you are trying not to. I hope you enjoy making the most of dtd with out the pressuse of TTC :D
coco-please don't leave us I understand your frustration with AF showing up, I was so hopeful it was your month. If you are having pain weeing maybe you should see your doc it doesn't sound right.
afm-Thanks for the info on cd1 being blood not spotting I didn't know that so I must be a day earlier than I thought. Anyway still bit confused, temp has been going up and down like a yo-yo (36.1-36.5-36.2-36.5) at the same time each morning. Had a positive OPK on saturday night (you should have seen me dancing around doing my little o dance ) and still positive yesterday so going on previous 2 months I should have o'ed yesterday but this mornings temp still only 36.5? We did inseminations, 2 on friday then 1 saturday lunchtime and 1 last night so REALLY hoping for a temp rise tomorrow or I will be very concerned that I had TSH surge but no egg released. Trying to think positive.
Hope everyone has a good week.
hi bb girls
i had a good quiet wk end. visited my friends & their 7 wk old twins. georgous! i wanted to steel one....
SammyP - angel all set up - thanks
eliselouise85 - hope things get back to normal & you get the all clear frm the doc tomorrow
Ferrals4 - pos OPK & EWCM!!! Massive!!! Bring on October!!!!
Sunbeam - positive positive positive.....
Sunny09 - my girlfriend in on 3rd IVF cycle and ff told them to DTD every 2nd day - keeps sperm active and healthy
coco1411 - i feel for you. i eat choc as this stage and it helps me. this whole af is such a head game. you don't want a baby - it is a welcome relief - you m/c and you hang out for it so you can TTC again - you want a baby and its the last thing you want to see. over it!
afm - cd17. i keep touching my b's to see if they are sore - if i don't stop checking i will make them sore! hilarious. had a great 2hr chat with my g/f on ivf yesterday. did me the world of good. she is a beautiful girl and i have told her about this site so i hope she gets on board.
better get back to work.......
Im sad and in in shock, i just got a text message from a gf who went to have a us, she is about 8 weeks and a few days, anyway her baby died. I feel so sad for her, she is trying for bub number 5 and had a mc at 4 weeks then fell pregnant with this one.
My heart is breaking for her, and i feel guilty cause she fell pregnant straight after my mc and was always telling me about how sick she was, i got jealous, now i feel so terriably sad for her.
afm, im waiting to o, but not sure if i have cause i didnt have all my signs, but a few things that said i maybe did. i dunno
Anila - Your girlfriend will need you more than ever now. We have all had those feelings of jealously but you never wished this upon her so dont feel bad about that. Just be the best friend you can be to her.
Thanks maddison, i just dont get what is going on lately, all these losses, is it enviromental or what, i dont get it.
way too many good people have lost their beautiful bundles, and its just 1 to many.
My friend is in mourning atm, and its hard to help her cause we live in different states, but i told her to call me to talk when ever she is ready, im not good in these situations, i never know what to say, and although i have been there myself, words are so hard for me. iykwim.
Anila - A good friend of mine lost twin boys at 23 weeks a little over a year ago and like you i had no idea what to say to her. I didnt think i would even be able to look at her without crying. I knew she would want space and to be alone so i let her know that when she was ready that i would be there. Its all you can do really.
I know what you mean about it happening so often now. But it still seems to be something that you shouldnt talk about. People need to talk about it. Thats what is great about this forum. I cant talk to my friends or family about my m/c. For them its something sad that shouldnt be spoken about.
anila & maddison - i agree maddison. my brother lost his son 5 years ago. he was born at 24 weeks and lived for 2 weeks and the family doesn't talk about it. my brother needed and needs to talk about it so on little izacc's birthday i always call my brother and let him know that i know its izacc's birthday and chat about what he would be like if he was here and we have a cry and a laugh.
anila - maybe you could text your gf once a week and let her know you are thinking of her. take care of yourself and don't beat yourself up. jealousy is a natural feeling in our situations and we mean no harm by it.:D
I know what u mean, i cant talk about it with my sister, she just tells me to get over it!:
I cant talk to my friends or family about my m/c.
She has never had one, i have now had two, and yes emotionally i need to move on, but no i dont wanna get over it!!
like u i am glad i have this forum, my firsy mc was shoved under the carpet and walked all over like it didnt exsist, so i never delt with it, this time, it has been so much easier to deal with it, its still sad, and i will always miss what i could never have.
how are u going atm?
hey there zstar, i didnt see u post, lol, yeah i will sms her just to let her know i am here. She just text me to say that the obgyn, estimated 4 days ago, as she had a scan 5/6 days agao and had a heart beat, but bubba was measuring small, she said he thinks it was growth retardation, she is in her 40s, so i know she will worry if age had anything to do with it.
Good morning all
It has been very quiet in here the last few days, i hope everyone is doing ok :)
Anilla & Maddison i was reading through your posts last night when i got home from work late and it was so moving. I was tearing up reading them but maddison is right your friend will need you to talk to and also having gone through the same thing hopefully that makes it a bit easier to talk about.
I too know what you mean about not being able to talk about the m/c it makes it very hard and i think if someone hasnt been through it they dont actually realise how hard it is.
Zstar i think it is lovely that you call your brother every year on his sons bday and chat about it, i think it would really help him alot. Thats so funny about touching your b's to see if sore i used to do that straight after the m/c to make me think it wasnt true, but yeah your right you touch them that much it just makes them sore
Sunbeam hope your little O dance worked on saturday night and you get a BFP this month, goodluck :goodluck:
Hello to everyone else ive missed, hope everyones week is going ok so far.
I better get going, off to the docs to find out what the heck is going on with my body, so frustrating at the moment :wall:
Talk soon :hello:
Hello lovely BB ladies,
Well  my dance worked I finally o'ed last night ( I know exactly when it happened because I felt every painful moment of it and could not sleep till midnight). Now I just have to hope that my egg was still good by cd25. I got pg with a cd25 o last time but I'm worried that may be why I m/c and the baby was placed so badly in my uterus. Having said that my friend had both her girls with cd25+ o's and they are fine so :crossfingers:
So I am officially in the TWW :cheer:, who else is with me? I know Zstar is, too funny about touching your bbs to see if they are sore  I will be doing the same thing because that was my biggest sign with both my pgs.
Anila and Maddison- I know it is so hard to know what to say to anyone's loss but we of all people know what we need at that time. Just the loving support to know there is a shoulder to cry on when its needed and someone to acknowledge the loss and not ignore it. Anila I hope your friend can join us so we can help support her through this.
Have a lovely day girls.
YAY Sunbeam thats exciting good to see the dance worked
Hopefully your little egg is a strong one and you get your BFP this month. I have everything crossed for you and cant wait to hear your result :bluedust:
Just got home from docs and she has said that it sounds like everything is starting to settle down and hopefully i will get normal AF very soon :crossfingers:
Off to work now, bye all
Good Morning Girls,
I have been avidly reading your posts and have only just now got the chance to come and post myself. You girls are trully a tower of strength for each other and its so moving to know there can still be such brilliant and caring ppl out there.
I lost our little jellybean last monday.Ironically,i was watching Juno and started to cramp..i just knew there was something wrong..Sure enough,it just wasnt meant to be....We have 2 children and didnt think there would be any problems at all and eagerly told all that would listen that we were expecting. The pregnancy took us as a major suprise as we were trying at all but it was a welcome suprise and now its ended i feel so lost and guilty wondering what did i do wrong??? to make matters worse a gf of mine rang me thursday night not knowing i had M/C and blurted out in excitement that she was pregnant too and due a week after me!!!! it shattered me and whilst normally i would be over the moon for her, i was secretly jealous and so so hurt..is this normal? im not usually a jealous person....
We had actually decided before this pregnancy that perhaps we wont have any more but now both DH and i are yearning to have another.I think we need it to fill the gap im feeling.is that normal or is it just me still being emotional??? its just so confusing.i find myself not even being able to watch babies or pregnant woman on tv now!!!!!!
I also have the guilts because even though its only been just over a week,i have been randy as all hell and once i stopped bleeding, was begging DH to bd with me...A gf said that its not normal at all...
im looking forward to sharing our journeys together.even though we really dont want to be going through this at all..U girls are trully gems...
Elise that is great news that your doc says things are getting back on track. Hope your cycle returns to normal soon.
Anyone know how to enable HTML code as I made a lovely ticker on lilypie but can't upload it as HTML is off?
Hi Hubba_Bubba I'm so sorry I missed your message before. I'm so sorry for your loss but you are right this is an amazingly supportive and caring group to be apart of. You have every right to feel all of the emotions you are going through, it is definitely a huge shock and huge feeling of loss, your hormones will also be all up in the air so do not feel guilty for being over emotional or wanting to bd. We have also all wondered if we did something to cause our m/c but it is hugely unlikely that it was in anyway your fault, sometimes it is just not right and mostly we will never know why. I understand the hurt at finding out your friend is expecting too as a friend of mine conceived the same week as me and we were so looking forward to being pregnant together. I hope you find the comfort you need her with us and that your journey to a BFP is short.
Hey ladies,
I'm new to this forum - sucks to be here after having a m/c at 12 weeks on the 23rd of June. Now I'm wating for AF before trying again - I'm finding the waiting really really tough and I'm struggling cos my SIL is 10 weeks pregnant and I'm jealous as anything.
Arrgghhh - so frustrating!! :wall:
Hi all,
I've missed too much again to do personals to everyone but:
Coco - so sorry AF is appearing, I hope that everything is sorted with the op and that the next month gives that sticky BFP
Hubba_Bubba & Catgirl - hi to our new girls, I'm sorry for the reason you are in here but you won;t find a more reliable, caring and understanding bunch of girls...even when all you do is get online and rant...we understand
Anila - nothing you felt made a difference to the preg but how you feel could very well help her now with the loss...it really takes someone who has been through it to understand
Sunbeam - good luck in the TWW
Sunny, Elise, Sammy, Zstar, Maddison, Ferral and Jules (and anyone I have forgotten) hope things are going well for you.
AFM - I had a major down day on Thursday and got trashed. Was unbelievably miserable. But...after all that I finally got some direction in what I want in life (apart from a bub).
DB asked me if we will be having a bub this mth, I hope so and its good because the days that I see him should be around my o day, its all very exciting.
I can't remember who asked where my store is...it is 5935 Cunningham hwy Kalbar, about 20mins from Ipswich :) you can see stuff online at Katt's Emporium - Home (can't remember if I told you last time).
It's so hard if I miss a couple of days :( I miss out on so much and its hard to do personals and keep everyone up to date.
Hope everyone is great, will anyone be in the TWW wait with me? Fingers crossed for some BFP this month...we are due some more good news
Hi All
Still experiencing AF. I noticed yesterday I lost a little bit more tissue type material so I guess my doctor was right about leaving it one cycle. I feel very mixed about trying again. I'm not sure about how others my age feel but at 43 I am very concerned about my ability to have a healthy baby. DD is almost two and she's absolutely fine but I think two years may make a big difference in the quality of my eggs. I'm also concerned that my age may have contributed to my miscarriage and I really don't want to face that again either. Oh well, I still have a couple of weeks to think about it.
Hi there ladies,
I happened to stumble onto this web page and cant believe what im reading...
For the past 5 years i really thought that there was something wong with me and that i was the only person that was dealing with miscarriages. Let me take a moment to explain, I am 25 years old and i have had 6 miscarriages. Each time i have been able to carry between 8-12 weeks and no longer. I have been for hundreds of differnt opinions and each one has said the same. I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS BUT I CAN SEE NO REASON WHY YOU HAVE LOST THE BABY......
I have gotten to a point in my life where i have to try and stop myself fom looking at ever pregnant women that i see and asking,WHAT MAKES HER A BETTER MOM THEN ME!!!
I have given up all hope and i find myself avoiding my friends(all are married and are starting to fall pregnant).
Please if there is someone out there with a bit of advise or even a hopeful story please i am all ears.
Ladies i must admit you have a wonderful suppot group and as a outsider i must  for you.
