YAY new thread new lot of BFPs about to be be confirmed ( Oh please let me have one )

Reet welcome back sorry for your loss AF will show up when shes good and ready took me ages to get her to visit when I had my D&C but took vitex in the end and not sure if thats why she arrived or just coincidence ! the vitex was later on to be my downfall as made me feel so damn sick headaches and so depressed so I gave up on it !
Insensitive nurses in the recovery room should be shot ! I had one who said not to worry when I had my D&C she said it wasn't a baby so don't be upset its just a blighted ovum ! WTF made me so mad gave me morning sickness and sore boobs and the rest of pg symptoms no matter what it was ! for nearly 13wks !
Anyway hope you can get back on track real soon. Nice for you to have your SIL around with a new baby can really help if you want it too try to think of all the positive vibes you can get holding a little bundle of joy, when your holding the baby close your eyes and pray for your own little one !

Porshe glad we could lighten your load a little so nice in a way to talk to ppl who know how you feel and what your going through. I have other kids but it doesn't make loosing one any easier I can tell you . And I get plenty of comments about you got kids why you taking it so hard !

Bons keep your chin up I am sure you will be fine just takes a little more time to get the reward but you will get it I promise, thanks for the uplifting comments really helps me to stay focused.

Alice thanks for your kind words I am you get a BFP real soon and then your dream will come true ! I am a firm beleiver in dreams so hold onto that thought ! As for the hormone thingy well no-one is any worse than me when it comes to mood changes of late one day up the next right the way down ! my poor DH he really puts up with some sh*t some times !

Kitfaeri shame on your stupid GF she hasn't done a test yet and we all know how our bodies trick us in the TWW so lets hope she gets a BFN and then you can say well you see its not always so easy is it ! I have such a sharp tonge at times sorry !
anyway my dear thinking of you and hope your BFP is not too far away ! you could always get the pram of justice out again !

Possum try not to worry I only had most of my kids over 35 so I guess the age thing is not really a biggy untill you get to 40 then it really slowed down for me ! and the older DRs well they got more experience and much more thoughtful and they know there stuff so beleive in him I would !

Millyd well I am in the 2ww with you will be testing next monday so fingers crossed for all of us !

T-hopes hi glad we can be testing buddies again ! yay for the dream of a little boy go girl ! I also had a dream on weds night last week which was my Oday a little baby was made and woke with such a calm feeling in the morning ! also got my booties under my pillow ( sorry girls had to make my own first )

Kids back at school tomoro so will be able to complete my orders for knitting ! later this week !

AFM well feeling a bit better today had a good long chat with DH about getting all my stuff on ebay (pram, crib, cot ect ) and he said no way not till we given it a reall good go and he made me promise to not give up untill next birthday ! so ladies thats what I promised to do try and try and try some more !!!

T hopes -oh you poor zitty girl. Why is it we want some aspects of being young and not others? Hope this is your month.

Ferals – do you normally break out? How exciting, Mogwli coming home date is sooooooooo close now.

Milly – keep strong and keep repeating your mantra.....

Murray – hope the bloods today were ok and not like last week. Poor blossom, here's a belated hug.... did you get it? . Did you do something nice whilst you were out?

I was having that same discussion with my DH last night about how women give out TMI and they are happier just not really knowing ALL of the details.

I think I had a similar experience. DH finished a book he had been reading and was excitedly trying to tell me about, and I stopped what I was reading to listen, but I am a bit embarrassed to say, I was so not interested in the topic and in all honestly didn't understand it. But I asked a few, what I hope were thoughtful questions, and listened, because he does it so often for me and I thought, “this is how he must feel when I rabbit on”. It's just I am sneaky about it and do it in the car, where he can't get away! Poor man.

I reckon you should have just put the annoyance in another room and shut the door and still had a nice time with your friend and the FANTASTIC food you cooked. No way I would leave you or a feast you had prepared. Wish I could have tasted it, sounds awesome.

Possum – You're right, people do only tend to say those types of things when they are not the ones suffering. If they were suffering they wouldn't say it, although I had a comment from someone who had a loss recently that was pretty hurtful. Inadvertently hurtful I think, but strange how its stuck with me. I don't know what its like to already have a child, but I try to think about it in terms of my fur babies, and how I would feel if I desperately wanted another and couldn't and people said to me, well at least you have some already...I think I would be pretty angry. Possum, we all feel the irrepressible weight of biological clocks.... you'll get there!

Reet – I have this fantastic vision of you jetting into where ever your DH is and you both BDing your hearts out, and then you walking funny back to the plane...... make sure you get some cranberry juice if you take that option. Doesn't help with the give away walk but it might help VJ's health. What sort of puppy and what is her name?

Bons- with a schedule like that it must be tempting to save some up and use the turkey baster.....( hope that doesn't offend you) You are an amazing woman.

Ferals – love the story of the romantic first night for you and DH..... one of my friends met her DH of 16 years at a night club and the DTD on the boardwalk later the same night and have been inseparable ever since. Love finds a way. We are about the same vintage too, and I refuse to think of myself as old! So don't you!

Kit – hope you got your essay done.... sweetie - this person sounds like a bit too much work right now, can you give them a bit more of a wide berth? You have to look after yourself! I know its not that you're not excited, it just hurts. She won't understand that and in a way, I hope she never does.

Loops – I hope AF arrives, gives you a good place to start from.

Alice- we just can't pick our family nor can we filter what they say. They do say the darndest things I reckon. But our friends? I to have completely shut out a “friend”. I had doubts at first and gave her more chances but she just kept saying hurtful things. With a lot of help from Murray, Crafty and Ferals, I don't have guilt anymore about it and I realised all by myself, that it was all about her and when I needed it to be about me, she couldn't do it. It time to get rid of her, she was more work than she was worth. I am soooo much happier now. Good news on the diet!

I hear you about beer o'clock. I have a lot of “no more X o'clocks” – so I can share your pain. The hardest? Is no coffee. I dream about it, I salivate at the thought of it. I actually sneak “sniffs” of other peoples coffee. I haven't had any for ages, self imposed at first, but I miss it so much. I often wonder if I will still enjoy it so much in the future or if its just I have put it on a pedestal and the reality can't match my imagination. Time will tell.

Jenna – it's Monday – how are things? FINGERS CROSSED for you girl.

TCCALC – give Ron a big hug for me. You guys are doing it tough right now and you both need hugs. Hope Court goes well – can't wait to hear, and the other events coming up. Hope your results on Monday are good and give you some hope. God luck on 29th – you'll come through with flying colours – but don't plan to do too much for a few days so you can recover. Will Ron be doing kiddie duty or have you got someone else to help out too? Hope that AF is never going to arrive too BTW..... fingers crossed.

    Jelly – thinking of you.

Mildez – god luck with your IVF cycle. I think like Murray that you are brave.

Crafty – even when you're not posting, or even lurking, thinking of you and sending you my love. I understand what you mean..... about wanting to return to being like your “old self”. I know you're not looking forward to it, but thinking of you on your birthday. You are a very special mother and woman, and I hope the day can bring some happiness and some easing of your burdens. Love to you. Good to see you have your mojo back - bless DH!

Porche – welcome and you should get the PoJ( pram of justice) from who-ever has it at the mo and smash into that nurses legs. I too am sorry that in your time of need someone so insensitive and insightless just happened to be near you. We aren't like that here. I hope your stay is short. I am so sorry for the loss of your precious angel baby. It must have been so confusing. I hope your FS is giving you good support in your time of need.

Ami – how are you doing? I am glad you have some belief, it helps! Believe me! I really like your DS “Mum I AM going to be cheeky”. Very cheeky.

Saffy – I hope you don't have too many tactless patients too, but as you know sometimes in misery and shock people can say the darndest and inadvertent things. Most people won't, so you should be fine. I think middies are amazing by the way!

Mathew's Mum – big hugs sweetie. Hope embie is still safe and snug despite the scare you are having.

AFM – had a really rough weekend, almost paralysed by fear and anxiety and a very real sense of foreboding. Today it is mostly gone, but when I was making some jelly just before it came back. I suppose its to be expected but anticipating it doesn't really make it any easier to get through. I feel like a survivor – amazed at myself and glad I got through it but a bit battered. Here's hoping that the next couple of months don't do my head in completely. Thank god for my fur babies, who send you their love by the way. They have so much of it to give. Big cat hugs and strength to us all.

    Hi Ladies

Yes I was completely gob smacked to say the least. I did write a complaint on the customer feed back form and I got an apology from the hospital the next day. They are no longer allowed to have personal conversations whilst on duty. I really hope that those particular nurses feel bad about that. Is that selfish?

Dory - I had to laugh at the turkey baster comment to Bons. DH has mentioned that to me a couple of times the last couple of days. He also mentioned a funnel????????

Craftymummy9 - I also have kids and your right it doesn't make it any easier but we are the stonger ones. The lucky thing is that we only told immediate family & my boss so we didn't have to un tell any one else.

Dory and Crafty - thank you to you both lovely women for your posts here - you have really lifted my spirits today. Having my first counseling session in an hour and feeling a bit fragile, don't know if it's the change of diet or PMT but have been very emotional over past week. xx

Crafty - so happy to hear you all fired up and ready to give it a good red hot go! And yah to your DH for barracking for you both too. It has honestly made my day to read your post. Joyous! Fingers crossed for you - new thread, new BFPs please please let the long termers here be free!!

Dory - you are a beautiful woman, you know that? You are so thoughtful of us all and so giving in your comments and here you are finding things so tough. You are a survivor and you are strong and brave and when the fear grips you you need to tell yourself that over and over. I have no idea what you must be going through, I really don't but no matter what, you can get through it. This little one is a keeper OK? You will hold your baby in your arms and take her/him home and you will be a wonderful mum.

T-hopes xx happy soul you are too

Iona-Macca - ooo!! Fingers crossed. It's OK, you can do this, you can!! xx

Porshe - glad you made the complaint, think it is very important. I bet they do feel bad and rightly so like MurryCod said. All the best for you

Come on Ferrals, T-hopes and was it KitFaerie all testing at once this month? Please let this be your turn!

    Love to all
    Alice x

PS MatthewsMum - left a message for you in the other thread. Thinking of you today xxx Hoping for the best xxx
